I suppose it does yes, but can you know that is right, and not think it's right
If not for all those attempting to convince me that I'm wrong, as if they are right, I would be that much more confident of what is right. However, I know the peace of God, and no degree of anybody's else's will to, can disturb that.

So, then, the answer to the OP is, rightly, "No, the bible does not teach misogyny. But men (with many women following suit) have used the accounts in the Bible to sanction their own policies that are misogynistic. This might be called the doctrine of misogynism. And, while it is truth that wives should honor their husbands, it is false that it is in anyway acceptable that husbands might 'in proper order' disrespect their wives.

maybe the ones convincing you, you could be wrong thought the same about you lol,

But then two wrongs don't make a right, so but then you never know, you could both figure out what is going wrong and then two wrongs could lead to a right 😂.

Is it the peace of God or the will of God you know 😊

Surely, you would be glad to tell me. Do you know that would is conjugative of 'will'?

Hey @Mem I was wondering now that you know what I know, do you know it to, like do you know it's his will you feel inside, when your at peace has that peace ever come suddenly

If I didn't know better, I might think that you are persisting in an attempt to discredit what I do know. Does the peace come "suddenly"? What do you mean, like, 'out of nowhere'? No, not for me, as much as the disturbance might come suddenly from who knows where, I know exactly from where my peace comes.

ah well sorry you feel that i thought it was a good discussion myself

It wasn't meant to make you feel any sort of sorry. As a matter of fact, I will share some 'peace' that seemed (but only if I didn't know better) to come out of nowhere, as recent as earlier today. Finding myself with a difficult choice of seeking the care of a medical professional for credible evidence of my illness or going into work while still sick and risk the health of my coworkers and our clients, it seemed 'out of nowhere' I received a phone call from my supervisor asking if I was interested in taking a voluntary day off tomorrow which 'happened' to work out as the 'perfect' solution to my conundrum, as it doesn't count against me in accordance to the official attendance record.

sound that buddy hope you have a good time ar work when you back.

I was thinking along the line when you've needed peace because something has suddenly come on heavy in your heart, and you just don't react to it and all of a sudden the heaviness is gone.

Yeah I can understand how you could feel wary but you can know better that's for sure

Galatians 3:28 teaches that men and women are equally saved.
Ephesians 5:21 teaches that men and women should be mutually submissive.
Genesis 2:22 indicates that Eve was Adam's partner rather than his slave.
Genesis 3:6-7 indicates that Adam and Eve sinned together.

1Corinthians 14:34-35 indicates that there was some law against women
speaking authoritatively, perhaps referring to societal mores of the time,
which deemed such behavior to be "disgraceful" (cf. 1Timothy 2:11-12).

Jesus said there is no marriage in heaven, which obviates the need for sexuality,
so the question becomes: Does the Bible teach misandrogyny?

1 Cor. 14—- so you think that women can preach in church? 😳

Yes, I think 1Cor. 14:34-35 indicates that Paul's proscription was due to societal mores at that time rather than
meant as a moral law for Christianized societies (cf. Gal. 3:28, Eph. 5:20).

Misandrogyny? Hatred of effeminate men?

No, but the Bible does state that such behaviour is completely inconsistent with Christian faith.

Ooh, it sounds more like a command to me. Are we not supposed to emulate their pattern of things. Nothing much should have changed in the church from the 1st century except dress/style.

My mouth is watering...........
Im sorry can you start the thread? I do not know how to word it. I do want to interact in it though!

Im of the opinion that miracles can happen but that they arent for every day purpose. Amongst many other things.

proscription = command

A lot has changed in Christianized USA, including clothing styles, which Paul also gave instructions about in 1Tim. 2:9.
