Man cannot believe in Jesus Christ until he is saved
I disagree with your order, but even so, any man can follow the leading of the spirit of truth if he so chooses.
Man cannot believe in Jesus Christ until he is saved
It's the truthIt is rather unique for someone to say that a person is saved before they believe.
you disagree with the truth, the gospel is hid to them that are lost 2 Corinthians 4:3-4I disagree with your order, but even so, any man can follow the leading of the spirit of truth if he so chooses.
just a thought lol on whether no man can come to christ by there own free will.Jn 6:44
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
No man can come here means no man has the ability to come to Christ. That cancels out the myth that man has a freewill,
It also means that no man has the ability to believe on Christ for Salvation. Because Christ equates believing on Him with coming to Him. Jn 6:64-65
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
What about those Jesus says to them Jn 5:40
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Thats answered in Jn 6:44 they simply will not come because they cannot come unless the Power of God draws them and makes them willing
Ps 110:3
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
If and when one comes to believe on Christ willingly, the credit goes to Gods Power !
It's the truth
you disagree with the truth, the gospel is hid to them that are lost 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
It's as good as done thenHow about they can if the lord wills it![]()
You can scoff and call it that all you wantYou follow a gnostic belief
You can scoff and call it that all you want
Easily, the gospel is hidden to them that are lost 2 Corinthians 4:3-4How does belief follow salvation in 1 Corinthians 1:21?
I don't know anything about thatIt's true. The Christian gnostics believed in total inability, whereas the earliest church fathers did not.
Paul taught inability. Don't know why you repeatedly stumble over and deny this fact. It's true. The Christian gnostics believed in total inability, whereas the earliest church fathers did not.
The world does not know Him, nor can the world receive the Spirit of truth.Secondly based on the Jews being Blinded and Deaf:
2. John 1 says Jesus came to His Own and they knew Him ((not)...
Of course they didn't know Him they were on purpose Blinded and Deaf.
It is rather unique for someone to say that a person is saved before they believe. Even Reformed/Calvinistic people recognize that a person is saved after they believe. They get around this problem by saying that God gifts them "faith" so that He can save them on the basis of their faith. They sometimes refer to this as irresistible grace.
Wait a minute here. The world does not know Him, nor can the world receive the Spirit of truth.
That means one must be called out of the world before the truth can be known by them. Guess who that applies to...
The only ones who know God are those to whom Jesus chooses to reveal Him. Scripture says so.

The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. The world does not recognize Him. No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. The one who loves God is known by God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile toward God; it does not submit to God's law, nor can it. Whoever is not from God does not listen to us.
Eh, I quoted Scripture. It says what it says. Sorry you don't like it...Wait a minute here.
One day world means certain people and now today it means the entire world?
It's funny how one Greek word is used for world but YOU CHANGE the meaning according to how you want it to mean!
I quote John 3:16 which is Scripture and you say it doesn't mean the whole world. I am using YOUR OWN ACTIONS so I am sorry it's YOU who doesn't like it.Eh, I quoted Scripture. It says what it says. Sorry you don't like it...
Have you been called out of the world?
Paul taught inability. Don't know why you repeatedly stumble over and deny this fact.
