doctors will say a glass of wine or a glass of beer a day is good for the heart.

Doctors in the know.... are no longer saying this now that research is proving ANY amount of alcohol is damaging to the body.

Besides, God's Word speaks far, far more negatively about booze and now we know why.

Of course the drunks will always advocate for booze or weed, or whatever form intoxication they are into.

Drunkenness (intoxication) is on God's list of "those that do these things shall not inherit the Kingdom" (Galatians 5:19-21)

As little as one ounce of alcohol is when the brain starts showing intoxication so those trying to advocate for drinking booze moderately are fooling themselves making excuses for sinful behavior.

I'll make a thread about what I know later, if I'm permitted.

Yep, there's definitely a lot of occult symbolism in Washington DC

Not surprising since numerous of the nation's founding fathers were followers of the masonic cult that believes lucifer is the true light and they claim God lied about being the One True Creator as ttheir claim is lucifer is the creator.

Here is an image of the baphomet hand sign that matches what she did.

https://www.teepublic.com/poster-and-art/21397718-baphomet-hand-sign

This is the sign language for I Love You

https://www.unusualverse.com/2019/06/i-love-you-sign-origin-curiosities-celebrities.html

To be fair these are both extremely similar.

Which is exactly why it would be ill advised for Christians to use this hand sign outside of talking to deaf people, even they there's other hand signs that could be used

They should not use this hand sign just like they should not be putting rainbow stickers on the back of their cars.

Ecclesiastes 9:7—
Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works. Let your garments be always white, and don’t let your head lack oil. Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your life of vanity, which he has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity, for that is your portion in life, and in your labor in which you labor under the sun.

Jesus himself drank wine with his desciples at the feasts. It's lawful to eat & drink all things when accepted with prayer and thanks toward God.
You ought to instead preach the difference between 'having a drink' and 'being a drunkard' that you're aware of, and apologize to those you've caused to stumble with your saying. Because there is nothing that can go into the mouth of a man that can defile him, but what comes out of it.

i don't know what country you live in but American doctors will say a drink or 2 a day is good for the heart. we all most likely, know people who are bothered by only an ounce of alcohol. they definitely shouldn't drink. & the Bible never says anywhere: "do not drink alcohol". moral intemperance is the issue to be concerned of. it is widely believed to be a subject that isn't so exact. like, "figure it out for yourself". people who refrain from drinking alcohol certainly are respected. totally, rainbow emblems are a theft of God's sign of His everlasting covenant with Him & humanity.

That's not the devil horn salute. That's sign language for "I love you." The devil horn salute has the thumb tucked in, not sticking out like in the picture.

This is the devil horn hand sign:

I ought to know. I was into heavy metal as a teenager before I got saved.

This is the first post I have read on here (as a new member), and I sure didn’t think this horrible photo and commentary would be on here. I don’t believe we should give any attention to this kind of evil.

do you think drinking 1 drink with alcohol in it is a sin?
Then I guess all the Jews including Jesus were sinners because wine is an important part of their culture, especially at weddings. It is not that which goes into the mouth which corrupts, but that which comes out of the mouth which can corrupt (such as misjudging another person’s ’sin’.)

you haven't given a direct answer to the question. do you think drinking 1 drink with alcohol in it is a sin?

Turning point USA is a Christian organization.

Yeah, kinda.

The majority of their work was not teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ but was rather political

It's nice that Charlie Kirk spoke about his Christian faith... but this was not a gospel ministry

Actually ministry does not make politics it's primary focus as Turning Point USA does.

Jesus himself drank wine with his disciples at the feasts.

You cannot prove from scripture that Jesus drank fermented wine.
Speculate all you'd like, but that proves nothing.

The word wine simple means fruit of the vine and does not indicate fermentation

He was a Nazarene Who had taken a vow to NOT consume strong drink

But, those that advocate for enjoying a little drunkenness now and then always defend drinking booze

Keep in mind, it was impossible for booze to be served as the Last Supper.

The Mosaic Law required that all things associated with fermentation - baked
goods, yeast, AND GRAPE JUICE THAT HAD TURNED INTO BOOZE had to be removed from
their midst in preparation for the Passover, on which the Last Supper fell -

Because the sun had set by the time they were eating and drinking which means
Thursday was over and Friday had come. Any Christian worth his salt knows Jesus
was taken into custody after the Last Supper, spent the night, the morning, and
afternoon in jail, before covetous Jew farce trials, and then was crucified before
the sun set and Friday would turn into Sabbath.

apologize to those you've caused to stumble with your saying.

Those advocating for drinking booze are the ones causing people to stumble.

These people most likely advocate for using marijuana too since it's now legal in many states.

do you think drinking 1 drink with alcohol in it is a sin?

No, I don't think drinking alcohol is a sin.... God does and teaches it is sinful in His Word so I'm going to agree with the Lord instead of the drunks

it's known medical fact that alcohol is harmful to your health and Christians
have been bought with a price they are not their own and are called to glorify
God in their bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) so drinking alcohol is sinful behavior.

1 Corinthians 3:17
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Christians have no right to abuse their body by ingesting alcohol.
Those that don't take their relationship with the Lord seriously
would be the ones drinking booze while claiming to be Christians.

No, with recent research coming to light.... doctors who keep up medical research are no longer saying this

I'd imagine the old lazy "doctors" on their way our of the profession are still saying that probably because they are hooked on the booze themselves. Misery loves company as they say.

millions of people do not believe that drinking a few drinks here & there is NOT abusing the body. i don't believe in it either. abuse settles in when one is light headed & drunkenness takes over.

Well, then drink up!

The true Christians will be abstaining from evil and won't be abusing their body with intoxicants out of respect for the Lord.

i should have said, "abusing the body". my mistake. we'll believe what we will. i quit back in the summer. i don't believe drinking a few is evil. carry on in peace my friend.

Reliance upon works/self-righteousness will do more harm than a glass of wine.
How could anyone prevent fermentation? You can't, yeast is in the air, on the grapes themselves.
blessings

Alcohol, sin and health mixed together…are you SDA?

After only a few days it will ferment, we see no mention anywhere if it being stopped for use as a food only.
At the marriage feast the best wine, not fruit juice, was Created by the Savior.
