I asked you ... why won't/can't you answer?I didn't ask you if Jesus Christ is Lord of your life.
if you do not know the answer to the question, then you are not elect.

In the format he created it's easy to check what words mean and IMO put together a better sense of what the text is actually saying rather than trust what theologians create, who have their own biases and many aren't even beleivers. I don't agree with his translation of every word; for instance he uses favor instead of grace.

James 2:19 - You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
Does that mean that demons are saved?
so you do not believe God's Word is a living / powerful Word? ...God's Word is living in hearts God has efficaciously renewed.
You can have your one-man bible. And "theologians" did not put together the various other translations. Their primary credentials were in the original bible languages. And how does your one language "expert" escape the label of "theologian"?
not only that but at least 2 of them (as of now) do not believe God's Word is a living Word which imparts life. That's not true. The problem with the reformed position is they think the soul is inherently corrupt and therefore cannot desire life. But the corruption is inherently in the flesh, not the soul. Just because a man lives in darkness doesn't mean he is blind, it means he needs the light. Grace provides that light and does so from the time a man is born into this world. Those who see the light and desire it, are drawn to it like a moth to a flame. They have no idea where it is leading them they only know it is what they prefer over the darkness.
The natural man hates the light and refuses to come into the light according to Scripture, quite unlike your take on it... theThat's not true. And this gift is indeed appropriated by faith not works.
And, if someone is actually walking in biblical faith they produce good works which is evidence or fruit unto salvation.
If one backslides and turns away from the Lord.... sowing to the flesh (sin) causes one to be separated from the Lord which is spiritual death and if they don't repent and come back to the Lord they go to hell even though they were genuinely saved in the beginning.
I love you Brother I truly do. I am looking forward to meeting you in Heaven one day!The Gr. term "kosmos" (world) has at least 8 different meanings, O Simple One! And I thought we were discussing Rom 12:3 anyway?
Already addressed and de-Calvinized. As you well know. That's a lie! Paul never said that in Rom 12:3.
Rom 12:3
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of YOU: Do not think of Yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of Yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given You.
NIV
How does "you" or "yourself" = all humanity w/o exception? You might wanna consider getting your fanciful imagination off steroids. Did Paul address his epistle to all mankind w/o exception?![]()
It causes them to be out of fellowship with the Lord, it does not cause the adoption to be erased or to be cast out of Christ.
They remain in Christ, (if indeed they belonged to Him), but they will come under discipline even to the point of physical death if necessary and be taken home early.
It causes them to be out of fellowship with the Lord
Don't you believe Scripture? I do.1 John 1:9 says if we confess out sins He will cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness (sin)
Is that not true anymore?
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? But it sounds like in New Testament times we can live in sin and it's all good, right?
When people don't like what scripture says they'll go to extreme lengths to find something that agrees with them. You can have your one-man bible.
