United States President Donald Trump is expected to offer a plan and discuss his vision for ending Israel’s war on Gaza and the future of the mostly destroyed Palestinian enclave to Arab and Muslim leaders on Tuesday.

Trump will hold a meeting with leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkiye, Indonesia and Pakistan on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

he US president will discuss how the Israeli military may withdraw from Gaza in the future, how he wants the regional leaders to send in troops to maintain order, and how a transition and rebuilding process can begin and be funded, unnamed Israeli and Arab sources told Israel’s Channel 12 and US-based Axios.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who is expected to attend the meeting, told the conference on the two-state solution hosted by France and Saudi Arabia at the UN on Monday that his country is ready to provide peacekeeping forces in Gaza.

“We are ready to take our part in this journey towards peace. We are willing to provide peacekeeping forces,” he said, on the day that France and several other countries recognised Palestinian statehood, joining the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Portugal, and others who had made the move earlier.

The Gaza plan was reportedly not drafted by Israel, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been made aware of the details. It is believed to envisage some future involvement by the Palestinian Authority (PA), something Israel has repeatedly said it will not tolerate.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed optimism after attending a meeting with the leaders of Muslim countries and U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the current situation in Gaza, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Tuesday

"We have concluded a very productive and positive meeting. I am pleased with the meeting," Erdoğan told reporters after attending talks.

He noted that the final declaration would be announced shortly.

Trump said that he would be discussing the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip with regional leaders during a "very important" multilateral meeting.

"I think Gaza is going to come along. We're going to have a very important meeting. And my next meeting actually is going to be very important with leaders in the region," Trump told reporters as he met with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"We're going to talk about Gaza. We're going to see if we can do something about it. We want to stop that. We want to get our hostages back, or their hostages back," he added.

Addressing the UN General Assembly, Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto says the world must respect Israel’s right to live in security, and ends his speech saying, “Shalom.”

Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world, and does not have relations with Israel.

“We must also recognize, we must also respect, and we must also guarantee the safety and security of Israel. Only then we can have real peace,” Subianto says.

Subianto vows that once Israel recognizes Palestine, “Indonesia will immediately recognize the State of Israel.”

Subianto says that Indonesia wants a peace that shows that “might cannot make right.”

“We believe in the UN. We will continue to serve where peace needs guardians — not with just words, but with boots on the ground,” he says.

“If and when the UN Security Council and this great assembly decide, Indonesia is prepared to deploy 20,000 or even more of our sons and daughters to help secure peace in Gaza,” he states.

US President Donald Trump ended a high-stakes meeting with Arab and Muslim leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly with little public fanfare — waving to reporters instead of commenting on the outcome.

Before the talks, Trump had framed the gathering as crucial to halting the war in Gaza. “This war has gone on too long and we want it to end,” he said, adding that the group was also prioritising the release of hostages taken during the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks.

The Emirati state news agency WAM reported that the meeting focused on securing a permanent ceasefire, freeing hostages, and addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan joined the US president in New York.

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff offered a quick thumbs-up when pressed by journalists about how the meeting had gone, but the president himself kept to his silence.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, who has been one of Israel’s sharpest critics, described the meeting as “very fruitful.” He told reporters a joint declaration would be issued but did not elaborate on its content.

I would have liked to been a mouse when President Trump conveyed a meeting with the many Muslim leaders. Everyone is seen pleased and no one is talking?? A plan is in the works.

How things get complicated

.We do not know whether the moon will be sighted in Israel on the 29th or the 30th day to begin the 1st and 7th months.

In our quest to understand the divine timeline, we acknowledge the transformation of barley into Aviv (Green Heads of Grains) and the sighting of the crescent moon as essential markers in the Creator’s calendar. These signs guide our observance of holy days with reverence, offering us opportunities to align with the Almighty’s will and celebrate His appointed times with joy while embracing the seasons that reflect His enduring faithfulness and truth.

This is why an extra day is added to this feast. And when they sight the new moon they back the time up to the previous evening. The day of September 24th is in play.

The Holy Days for the Seventh Month
We wait for the first of the year to be determined before we enter these dates.
All Dates are if the Moon is Sighted after Sunset on August 24, 2025
If the moon is not sighted then all dates are moved ahead by one day.

Turkiye’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he is “pleased” with the results of a “fruitful” meeting between United States President Donald Trump and Arab and Muslim leaders on ending Israel’s war on Gaza.

The positive sentiment was echoed by Trump, who said Tuesday’s meeting with “all of the big players except Israel” on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, had been “successful”, as Israel continues to relentlessly bombard Gaza City, kill dozens of Palestinians daily, and forcibly displace tens of thousands to an unknown fate.

No details, however, have yet been published on the meeting, attended by leaders of Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and the United Arab Emirates, which were billed by Trump as “the group that could do it”.

Trump, who was expected to present a plan on ending the war, wants Arab and Muslim countries to agree to send military forces to Gaza to enable Israel’s withdrawal and to secure funding for transition and rebuilding programmes, according to US-based media outlet Axios.

The Emirati state news agency WAM said on Wednesday that the meeting had been focused on ending the ongoing war in Gaza and reaching a permanent ceasefire, adding that the release of captives and addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis were discussed as priorities.

Israel reportedly had no involvement in the plan under discussion, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been made aware of the details. It is believed to envisage some future involvement by the Palestinian Authority, something Israel has repeatedly said it will not tolerate.

Japanese prime minister Shigeru Ishiba told the United Nations that Tokyo’s recognition of Palestine is a matter of “when” and not if, criticising Israeli officials for rejecting the idea of Palestinian statehood.

His remarks come as more countries, including Britain, Canada, Australia, Portugal and France, have recognised Palestine amid Israel’s war on Gaza.

“I feel strongly indignant at the statements made by senior Israeli government officials that appear to categorically reject the very notion of Palestinian state-building,” Mr Ishiba said.

“For our country, the question is not whether to recognise a Palestinian state, but when. The continued unilateral actions by the government of Israel can never be accepted,” he said.

While affirming Japan’s close alliance with the US, Mr Ishiba warned Tokyo may take new measures if Israel continues obstructing a two-state solution, stressing the need for accountable Palestinian governance alongside peace with Israel.

“I must state clearly that if further actions are taken that obstruct the realisation of a two-state solution, Japan will be compelled to take new measures in response,” he added.

Almost 80 per cent of UN member states now recognise Palestine.

Japan, despite being a key US ally, has been signalling a shift on Palestine – unlike South Korea and Singapore, which still withhold recognition of Palestine.

Mr Ishiba said that the “terror inflicted by Hamas and the devastation in Gaza we are witnessing today have left many feeling deeply saddened”.

CAIRO (Reuters) -Israeli forces pushed towards the heart of Gaza City on Wednesday, risking the lives of Palestinians who had stayed put in hopes that growing pressure on Israel for a ceasefire would mean they would not lose their homes.

U.S. President Donald Trump met leaders of Muslim countries at the United Nations in New York on Tuesday for talks which the Emirati state news agency WAM said focused on an end to the war.

Trump, who earlier condemned moves by a string of countries to put pressure on Israel by recognising a Palestinian state, said a meeting with Israel would be next.

The Israeli government has urged the population of Gaza City to move south but many people hesitated, citing the lack of security and widespread hunger there. "We moved to the western area near the beach, but many families didn't have the time, tanks took them by surprise," said Thaer, a 35-year-old father of one from Tel Al-Hawa.

Israeli forces, which began closing in on the city of more than a million in August, have ignored calls to stop an offensive that the government says aims to destroy the last stronghold of Hamas militants whose 2023 attack on Israel and seizure of hostages triggered the war.

Over three-quarters of Israelis believe in Trump plan to end Israel-Hamas War
Approximately 78% of Israelis would support a Trump-led political initiative, provided that it would end the war, return all hostages, and disarm Hamas.

Nearly 80% of the Israeli public supports a political initiative led by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza, a Tuesday poll from the Israeli Coalition for Regional Security found.

According to the poll, 78% of Israelis would support a Trump-led political initiative, provided that it would end the war, return all hostages, disarm Hamas, normalize relations with Saudi Arabia, pave the way for separation from the Palestinians, and establish a regional security coalition against Iran.

The poll came as Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday and called for an end to the war in Gaza and the release of all of the hostages.

Instead of giving in to Hamas' ransom demands, we should be united with those who want real peace and get the hostages back," Trump said, adding that "We can't get one or two; we need everyone, dead or alive."

The US president also slammed European countries that recognized a Palestinian state earlier this week.
“As if to encourage continued conflict, some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state. The rewards would be too great for Hamas terrorists for their atrocities," he said.

Earlier this month, a poll found that nearly half of Israelis believe that the IDF's expansion of operations into Gaza City has a low chance of defeating Hamas.

Some 46% of Israelis feel this way, while 38% of those polled believe that the expanded operations will succeed in achieving this goal.

US President Donald Trump promised Arab leaders he would not let Israel annex the occupied West Bank, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing six people familiar with the matter.

Two people described Trump as being firm on the topic during their meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

Two others familiar with the matter, Politico reported, said the US team presented a white paper outlining the Trump administration’s plan to end the Gaza war, including the promise against West Bank annexation.

Israel has drawn global condemnation over its military conduct in Gaza, which has caused major destruction and where more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to local health authorities. A global hunger monitor says part of the territory is suffering from famine.

Israeli forces pushed towards the heart of Gaza City on Wednesday, placing at risk the lives of Palestinians who had stayed put in hopes that growing pressure on Israel for a ceasefire would mean they would not lose their homes.
Trump, who also condemned moves by several Western allies to put pressure on Israel by recognising a Palestinian state, said a meeting with Israel would be next.

US President Donald Trump has presented a plan to end the war on Gaza in a meeting with Arab and Muslim leaders this week, his envoy said Wednesday, as Gaza's civil defence agency reported dozens killed in Israeli attacks.

US envoy Steve Witkoff, who has been involved in months of mediation efforts seeking an end to the nearly two-year offensive on the enclave, said Trump had detailed a "21-point plan for peace in the Mideast and Gaza" in Tuesday's meeting with a group of leaders from Arab and Muslim nations.

"We're hopeful, and I might say even confident, that in the coming days we'll be able to announce some sort of breakthrough," Witkoff told a summit on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

The plan "addresses Israeli concerns as well as the concerns of all the neighbours in the region", he said without elaborating on the 21 points.

This was the plan discussed with the Muslin leaders on Sept 23--Feast of Trumpets

My apology for being wrong.

I was pretty confident we would see a Covenant by many ( United Nations ) ( Dan 9:27 ) on Feast Trumpets which didnt happen.

The 21 point plan of Trump I do believe is still in play

A deal to end the war in Gaza and return Israeli hostages is “very close,” President Donald Trump told reporters Friday.

“It’s looking like we have a deal on Gaza,” he said. “I think it’s a deal that will get the hostages back. It’s going to be a deal that will end the war, it’s going to be a deal— it’s going to be peace.”

Trump’s announcement came minutes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, telling a diminished crowd of delegates that Hamas could end the war “right now” if it wanted to.

What does any of this have to do with Daniel 9:27?

Good question--

Someone is coming to confirm this covenant if that is what it is?

I feel it's too soon for the antichrist to be revealed. Isn't he suppose to have the backing of some other kings?

Plus I think this New York Declaration is just a lot of posturing. It's actually non-binding.

Israel is taking Gaza back but should also take back Judea and Samaria (aka the West Bank) 100%. Those areas are rightfully Israel's as promised by God.
