You use that as a tool to manipulate with.

Not to worry buddy. Their dripping hypocrisy only serves to lengthen their rap sheet.

All will be settled......

Oh but they
I am so glad these people are not my judge.
As you well know.....the Israel of Jesus' day was chock full of clueless pharisaical superiority complex hypocrite nutters too. Jesus dealt with them then, and He will do so today too no doubt.

Romans7-18-24a.png

Romans 7 verses 18-24a ~ I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do. And if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So this is the principle I have discovered: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law. But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord!

And if you had said no, that means you were not chosen/predestined/elected through God's sovereign will.

Your reasoning is self-defeating. Those given to Jesus by God, come to Him. No ifs and or buts.
Let the record show that these terms and concepts have already been thoroughly de-Calvinized.

Your original assertion was that Peter knew all truth. He admitted he didn't. He behaved like he didn't. No teacher has everything right.

I did not assert that. I said he knew about the issue for which Paul rebuked him. You insinuated Peter didn't know.

John6-37s.png

John 6 v 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
Knowing that Paul was speaking about the ancient Hebrew Jew and Knowing that He believed and taught Jesus died for both those saved and those who would reject him just like his and John and Peter's Disciples claim + we know that Jesus was addressing the current Jews which to us are ancient we know who the Father sent Jesus because it's in the Bible.

We also know because of John, Peter, and Paul Jesus died for both the saved and those who rejected Him so everyone is called to salvation and only those who will accept the invitation are saved.

You just have injected yourself into the scriptures written 2,000 years ago making them be about you concerning those elected and chosen. That's your error and yours alone.

Your attempts at exegesis are.....superficial, fail to address the meaning and intent of the original languages, are mostly one verse wonders out of context. This is hardly an exhaustive list of deficiencies, they go on and on.

You are swinging and missing continuously its really quite embarrassing to observe day in and day out.

And the thing is, top drawer resources and legit scholars have been provided. But rejected with contempt.

Too bad so sad. Sorry fake sorry.

Yes, turning God's sovereignty into determinism which is wrong, their god comes across like a one-dimensional god, very troubling.

Also the constant conflating of salvation (justification, redemption, sanctification) and the plan of salvation/ordo salutis.

Very manipulative.
I wonder if it is part of the Reformed Proselytize Training Program.
Just like any criminal (with a criminal psychological profile), the usual cast of repeat offenders around here think that their targets/victims are far too stupid to comprehend the typical and standardized psy-ops being utilized to domineer and distract.

*********************************************************************************************************
Passive-aggressiveness can be defined as anger or hostility in disguise, expressed in underhanded ways to exercise power, control, and deception, with the hopes of "getting away with it.”

Although many forms of gaslighting are overt and obtrusive (i.e. persistent and false verbal attacks, accusations, condescension, judgement, and criticism), there are also passive-aggressive forms of gaslighting that are more subtle and difficult to detect at the outset, and can carry the same negative contagion and toxic manipulativeness as overt gaslighting.

Since the purpose of gaslighting is to misdirect for the purpose of domination and exploitation, persistent blaming without verification or validity serves as an underhanded, passive-aggressive machination to keep the gaslighter on the offensive, and the gaslightee defensive. The negativity, based largely on falsehoods or exaggerations rather than evidence and proof, damages the victim’s credibility and reputation (individually or as a group). The gaslighter can then avoid drawing attention to their own weaknesses.

In conclusion, what these seven types of passive-aggressive gaslighting have in common is the subversive attempt to distort, deceive, and manipulate, keeping the gaslightee off balance and inducing insecurity and inadequacy in the victim. The gaslighter can thereby get away with his or her own character flaws and personal wrongdoings, and exercise control and domination over the relationship. Passive-aggressive gaslighting is a form of covert brainwashing and, at its worst, mental and emotional abuse.

Notice what you wrote?

Nothing good dwells in your flesh.

Your soul is not your flesh!

The depravity of man is not the total depravity of man.

If man were totally depraved?

Every soul would be like a demon who rejected Jesus Christ.

The soul is enslaved to the flesh it was born into.

Jesus sets our soul free from the dominance of the flesh by His power of grace!

Grace power allows our souls' freedom that it could not have known otherwise!

Notice what Paul said in your quote?

"Who will rescue me from THIS BODY of death?"

It is with your soul that you believed in Jesus Christ!

Without grace?

No soul would be made free to believe!

Your own quote shows the simplicity of the way to salvation.

It is the power of grace that the flesh finds irresistible to resist when God contains it and allows your soul to make its decision.

Calvinism has the soul unable to resist and must believe.

NO! Grace makes the soul free to make its choice.

There is a difference.

One is correct. We have to learn a real meaning of Grace!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may
rest on me." 2 Cor 12:9
Wishing you grace power and peace to you ............

Very manipulative.
I wonder if it is part of the Reformed Proselytize Training Program.

The program does not cause the mind set.
It was invented to attract and appeal to a certain mind set.

The KKK did not cause bigotry.
It attracted it and gave it purpose and leadership.

nope ... only the Lord Jesus Christ is the Elect from before the foundation of the world. believers are changed from natural man to "elect" at the time they are born again.

you certainly did add "words to scripture" ...

Here's what cv5 submitted:

Here's your post wherein you changed what was submitted by cv5 and which is written in Scripture:

you added the words [by Grace] and you did it furtively in your deception and dishonesty so that it appears cv5 added the words ... which is even worse ...

I did not lie ... you did what you did ... and I called you out on your manipulation of Scripture, your furtive deception in making it appear cv5 added to Scripture, and your anger at me for pointing out your deceit.

yes ... so why do you lie about what you did? ... you changed Numbers 32:12 by adding words to what the Author of Scripture wrote ... you submitting the post and made it appear that cv5 added to Scripture ... those were your actions ... you think you can hide from God??? He knows and because you did not turn to Him and ask forgiveness when I first pointed out your deceit, everyone who reads this thread can see ... smh
.

I editorialized for clarity the passage in numbers and I made that abundantly clear by placing brackets around the words to call attention to this fact. But as usual, you're asleep at the switch!

So, who/what ultimately rescued YOU from the body of death: God's efficacious grace or your efficacious "freewill"?

You described yourself and your ilk to a tee! Quite possibly this was your best post ever, Mr. Wanna-be expert psychologist.
