R.B. Thieme Jr. possess an astounding grasp of the ancient languages unequaled in my (limited) experience.

This expertise quickly evaporates the various heresies into vapor.

Heresies all too commonly merchandised by the super-determinists around here.

His well reasoned expert level exegesis makes the Calvinist pseudo-philosophers around here sound like babbling infantile idiots.
Be nice! :)

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned
Romans 5:18
Therefore, as through one man's offense [judgment came] to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act [the free gift came] to all men, resulting in justification of life.
can't have 19 without 12 and 18.
this is complex :)

why does 12 say all sin but 19 say only many were made sinners by the judgement 18 says came to all?

and then Romans 3:9-20 tells us unequivocally forcefully ((@studier)) that all have sinned and no one seeks Him?
John8-34-Romans3-23.png

Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." John 8 v 34 Not, only those who choose to sin or only atheists. Everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Romans 3 v 23 - all have sinned...
Designed to counter the lies of cv5 who rewrote what Jesus said.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for all, as in ALL.

We won't seek God......So God came after us. ALL of us.

Does no good....

It like telling some.

"We are not to pray to Mary.
Scripture tells us we are to pray to the Father in Jesus name... "

Then, they will pray to Mary asking if what was said is true.

Without having a real hope?
It could quickly get depressing.

Not complex at all.

The many= ALL

All=ALL

Through Adam all/the many were condemned.

Through Christ all/the many were offered the free gift.

Blessing in disguise. God condemned us all through Adam, and through Christ all were offered the free gift.

Equal privilege and equal opportunity for ALL/the many.

Acts 17:31
For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Psalm 98:9
Before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with fairness.

Psalm 96:10
Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will judge the peoples fairly.”

2 Cor 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

John 3:16; Acts 16:31

@Kroogz

i know you're not universalist. but that's their argument you just made.

this we know:
  • He died for all.
  • He bore the sins of many.
is anyone whose sins He bore unforgiven/unsaved?
in other words, does God fail?
does God waste His time?

why is the multitude an amount no man can number?

how good is God at math?
how good are you?

;)

dude her entire conversation has been that the flesh profits nothing; The Spirit is Life
Sorry, Brother. Her entire conversation is that mankind cannot believe His Gospel.......The good news He sent to mankind?!

John 16:8
And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment:

He will convict ALL. The whole world.

Equal privilege and equal opportunity. Acts 16:31.

We can believe His truth or we can reject His truth. But His truth will go to ALL.

Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Sugarcoating.png

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3 v 23). There is no one who does not sin (from 1 Kings 8 v 46). No one living is righteous before You (from Psalm 143 v 2). If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (1 John 1 v 8). Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” (John 8 v 34) And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed (John 3 v 19-20). The heart is incurably wicked (Jeremiah 17 v 9). What is evil? Sin is evil. Stop sugar coating it. All men sin, and commit evil in the sight of God. There are none good, no, not one! A bad tree cannot bring forth good fruit.

catholic fables?

wow i might as well say half of you like the wrong sportsball team.

smh

so you are a unitarian universalist?

((maybe more complex than you realize))
That designation is closer to reformed/calvies/tulip folks.

Calvies~~Independent of anything man does, God elects some to salvation.

Universalists~~Independent of anything man does, God elects all to salvation.

Same "sovereign election" theory. Just a numbers difference.

Grace through faith is a choice we have to make. Some reject it , some embrace it.

1Cor 15:45

done.

did it take him 30 minutes?

There was a prehistoric man created for the previous world created by God.
A generic type man, not created in the image of God.

Jeremiah touched upon the destruction of that creation in Jeremiah 4:23-27.

Jeremiah was warning the reprobate Jews that God was about to destroy their land.

Jeremiah cites Genesis 1:2 in showing them what they were in for.

I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; (Genesis 1:2!)
And the heavens, they had no light.
I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled,
And all the hills moved back and forth.
I beheld, and indeed there was no man, (Hebrew generic term/form for a man)
And all the birds of the heavens had fled.
I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness,
And all its cities were broken down
At the presence of the Lord,
By His fierce anger.
Therefore says the Lord, “The whole land shall be a desolation,
Yet I will not cause total destruction. .

Jeremiah was speaking to a people who understood Genesis 1:2 in the Hebrew.
They knew that the entire prehistoric creation had been wiped out.

Unlike some timid translators that we see too much of today, the Jews knew that
Genesis 1:2 spoke of an utter destruction of the prehistoric world.

So much so!
That Jeremiah had to end by saying.

Therefore says the Lord, “The whole land shall be a desolation,
Yet I will not cause total destruction. .

That was to let the Jews know, that unlike what was found in Genesis 1:2.
That the Jewish people would not be totally wiped out.
Some would survive!
Which they did!

Stan Ashby exegeted and explained how the term "no man was found" was speaking of a generic term/form for a man.

Possibly.... "Cavemen types."
Types that some today needed to evolve more to be like us.

There are treasure chests buried within the Scriptures!

grace and peace!

Oh, death systems and soulless idiots without true Life are "very good" in God's eyes?

10s bro.

all of 10s to destroy that.

even if i didn't take 5s to quote 1 Cor 15:45

This is simple:

The problem of EVIL. Sin is finished. He did not pay for our deeds/evil/human good.

None go to the lake of fire for their sins. They are paid in full.

Revelation 20:12-13
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And books were opened, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. / The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

John 5:28-29
Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice / and come out—those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
Matt 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.
