He wasn't a pastor. You don't have to be a pastor or missionary to be a martyr for the Lord. His job was politics, but if you listen to what he said, he took every opportunity to share his faith. And I'd guess he shared more of his faith at his job than most people do.

No, I was already aware that some claim this means I love you in hand signs used when talking to deaf people.
She was not talking to deaf people... they had PA system turned way up because the vast majority of people at the event could hear just fine so it is odd for any Christian to be using this particular hand sign.
I mean if you are talking to a deaf person, that's one thing.... she was not.
