You seem to lack knowledge about that book. The only thing that happens is the blotting out of names since all names were written in that from the very beginning. We Israelis have known that for thousands of years.

MM
How does this change anything. We still do not know who has been blotted out.

Which one are you?

The sincere confident Pharisee or the humble tax collector?

The better question may be "To you, which one is Paul?"

He has no answers his intent is to disqualify the gospel and create a different one that removes all God said will save people

Yea, he don't like answering questions at all.

Because of his opinion it creates so many questions, too many things don't line up with HIS word.

I believe Paul would be the humble tax collector, as we all should.

You on the other hand...?

Why are you getting defensive?

So this: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing"...

..is something the humble tax collector would say?

The criteria for the blotting out is indeed known and addressed throughout. If your false teaching pastors knew the scriptures, you would likely have known this already.

Please enlighten this poor soul.

How can we 100% be assured that our name has not been blotted out of the unopened Book of Life?

Defensive? How about not being coy and answer the question.

On the issue of the tax collector, no he would most certainly not say this.

again

we who believe are not condemned

those who do not believe are condemned already.

do you trust God. or do you trust man (or self) and in doing so reject God.

its quite simple

Some common sayings among many believers are:

“There's only one gospel throughout all the Bible, and so everyone is saved in the exact same way.”
“Jesus, along with His 12 apostles, and along with Paul, all preached the same gospel message.”
“All that happened was Paul came along later and continued Peter's ministry gospel and ministry, but to the Gentiles.”

Those claims sound very biblical to many, but are the assumptions behind these claims correct?

1. To whom did Jesus and His 12 disciples preach?
2. What was their gospel message?
3. Paul was the apostle to....whom?
4. What was Paul's gospel that he preached?

Please share your thoughts on these questions.

MM
I realize you’re just posting questions to stir up a lively discussion, but thats why it’s important to have God through the Holy Spirit reveal insight and truth. If God didn’t inhabit the scriptures, the Bible would just be a story book. You gonna get literally every Bible verse quoted as an answer.

Fundamentally speaking, lets consider some things:

Philippians 4:3 — And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

So, we see Pauls assurance in the knowledge of other people whose names are in that book. Apart from that and the book of Revelation (in the NT), there is no discussion about that book. Also, WE who are of the body of Christ will not be standing there waiting to see if we are saved for we will already have our rewards and already living in the Heavenlies. That judgement is not for us where and when that book is opened.

So, what are you worried about?

I know that I have the Spirit because of the inspired written word of God and the promises therein. What about you?

I fully agree that the blood of Christ cleansed me of all my sins when I believed the Gospel as preached by Paul as recorded in 1 Cor. 15:1-4. No works will ever be able to add to anyone's salvation nor to retain salvation. It is ONLY the shed Blood of Christ.

As to the erradication of my sins, they are gone finneto, nada, destroyed... That is what the shed Blood of Christ accomplished for me given that I was saved by grace through faith, and that not of myself, but a gift from God. Nothing else will ever suffice not supplement my salvation. What about you?

So, no, we do not have to DO anything to "get rid of" our sins. We could never DO anything other than to have faith in the death, burial and resurrection on the third day for out sins and for our redemption from the resulting death to which retained sin leads. What about you?

FYI, GOD was speaking to Ananias about Paul.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

After Paul got the Ephesians on the right track, look what he did.

Acts 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

So new question did Paul just get the gospel message to the Gentles?

Did you ever figure out what that message was that Paul gave to the Corinthians 1 Cor 15:1?

Why do you insist upon placing yourself under a gospel that was not ever preached to the body of Christ? Peter preached that to Israel. That was not meant for us.

Are you saying everyone name is in the book of life, and people get blotted out?

Given that there is not one verse anywhere throughout scripture where the Lord told anyone that their name was actively being written in that book, and given your assumption to the contrary in the things you have said, I'm left wondering what it is that you actually do believe about that book. Do you think names are blotted out each time someone sins? Do you think you will be standing there at the great White Throne judgement? If so, you have problems in your theology and your eschatology and your eisegetical habits.

Also, no, Paul had a habit of going FIRST to the synagogues to preach the gospel of grace to the Jews first, some of whom were proselyte Gentiles who became Jews.

Paul clearly reiterated His gospel to the believers in Corinth in the first four verses of that chapter. Why can't you get that straight without adding what isn't there?
