Matthew 11 verse 27 ~ All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

I have shown the necessity of all those things using other verses.
If this is poor form, then I make the same claim towards you as there are no plain verses that say what you say.

Look here!

Tell me after reading it.
Where is the source of our depravity to be found?

For I know that there dwells in me nothing good, that is, in my flesh.
For the will is present with me, but not to do good." Rom 7:18

Our soul is born trapped in that flesh package, and dominated by it, until the Holy Spirit indwells and takes over to control it full-time.

The soul is not the source of total depravity.
The soul, before grace controlled the flesh, was a victim of the flesh's depravity.

What does God save?
THE SOUL!
Not our body.

It is with our soul that grace makes us able to be made free to choose for God.

Irresistible grace was not an answer!
It was a quick fix to try to explain how totally depraved people can become saved.
Just like the quick fix of immaculate conception concept was made up to make the desired outcome seem feasible.

But, now we can understand enough as to why it is possible to believe.
We must be understanding Grace in its function over the flesh in salvation to see it.

The natural man is not spiritually discerned
1 Cor 2 v 14 is a prime target for FWers to rewrite, to make it fit their self-exalting programming.

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." John 6 verse 44 The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2 verse 14 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8 verse 7-8

Speaks of one who needs affirming attention. Critique reframed for self-validation. Words redefined and logical fallacy used to protect the system. All the same underlying issues.
Right. My mom didn't breastfeed me long enough so I have low self-esteem and have a constant need for affirmation from strangers online. If this were the case, wouldn't I block those who weren't reaffirming, and not engage with those who threaten my fragile emotional estate?

Yes looking back at the scriptures I see that now I don't know why I thought it was physical major brain fart there View attachment 279763

But even so if everyone else is spiritually enabled then why does the natural man not comprehend the things of the spirit?
Bible tells us that God manifests Himself through people, other forms of creation, the consciousness and they reject God. You can only reject God spiritually just like you can only accept Him and be saved spiritually.

Again, I don't disagree with your premise. I simply believe grace is more extensive than you.
You should really be talking to your friends who believe grace only informs. They don't believe the flesh needs to be overcome. They are fine as they are so long as they are informed.

You cannot be spiritually dead and believe. You can be spiritually alive without possessing eternal life...Adam before the fall.

You can if the Lord by means of His grace makes it as if you are not dead, just as he sees you now as if you are not a sinner but wholly righteous.

You're a lousy exegete! And no, v.7 does not state that the audience is primary Jewish believers. Keep reading through the chapter, though, and you just might pick up on a rather important detail that you have carelessly missed thus far. Has the Holy Spirit abandoned you after 50 years? Don't you know that one of his ministries is to lead God's people into all truth? Where is your Holy Spirit? Is He napping? Or too busy to notice you? Why isn't He coming to your rescue?
You don't read.
I said chapter 1 says the audience was to all in Rome but chapter 8 is about the ancient Hebrew Jews.
You simply are on a mission. I could just write chicken scratch and you would keep on spewing your ill view about the MOST HIGH GOD.

If you are still a natural carnal man you are still not subject to the law. Neither do you have spiritual discernment. Your choice would always be to your detriment.
