Do you have a Pet? post a picture here! we would love to see it.

What's your pet like? are they stubborn and derpy like my dog? or are they sweet and cuddly. ..perhaps they lean towards the mischievous side...

Feel free to share about past pets as well:) This is a all things pets thread.

This is my dog, his names Milo but I call him stinky...because well...he does

Hes stubborn and silly. He isnt the brightest crayon in the box and is now missing an eye because of his own tomfoolery. He acts the same as if he still has two eyes.

He is fiercely strong willed and courageous. Willing to do anything to protect his..well...usually personal space. He dislikes bigger dogs. I think they make him realize how truly small he is.(he will never bite a person though)

On the inside this Shihtzu thinks hes a Pitty, but on the outside he's just a fluffy cute A##-####... I mean in the nicest way possible.

He is very well behaved most of the time, but if he doesnt get what he wants he becomes our worst nightmare.

Hes super cuddly and sweet a majority of the time though, and he snores so loud that it could wake a grown man up.

He loves to play, and is super energetic

I love my little guy. Hes the best pet ever and I couldn't imagine a life without him. Hes very...controversial. like most living beings. Hes got his ups and downs. But I love him for who he is.

1757960896588.jpeg1757960896588.jpegThis is my pup, Pitu, short for Pitufa, Spanish for Smurf. Recent photo, she was adopted ten years ago. I kept her name since she seemed to know it.
She was very scared at first but soon became very much mine in her heart. Never been physically punished in any manner, she has learned to train me, I have her spoiled rotten and love her to death. It seems I am her pet. I thank God for her daily.

She is so cute ❤️

Its funny how we adopt a pet into our family thinking that we'll be the owners and then they somehow end up in charge. I blame their cuteness.

peewee copy.jpgme and peewee.jpgbuddy 525 2 004.jpg

.....
top 2 are pee wee. a pit chow mix. had her for 16 1/2 uears until her body just simply wore out in 4/2016. it hurt so bad to lose her I nearly swore 'no more dogs' i stil miss her sometimes. 65 pounds
Then last june my wife came inside and said 'there's a dog sitting on the edge of the road'. he is the bottom pic. I looked at him from the front door and my hard heart melted at first sight. I took one step toward him and felt 2 fingers go into my chest and touch my heart, he really was sent by GOD. he's a giant snauzer poodle mix. 27 inches at the shoulder and 60 pounds. he is becoming my friend just like peewee was. thank you Lord for this gift.

Oh I have a solution, screenshot them from your phone or computer and then shrink the photo with your crop tool:)

Along with the orange tabby that has adopted my porch as home, and who now answers to Donald, and D John or DJ for short, Penelope, his mother, has given birth to another litter a couple of days ago as she showed up with significantly slimmed down with a yuge appetite. I'm wondering if she'll introduce me to them eventually. Even though, because the mister dared me to walk in their general direction to see if her treatment of me might be the same that he experienced (she hissed at and slashed at his heels), she only expressed a short mew in protest and gave the top of my foot a quick swat (very softly), I understood and didn't insist that I meet them just yet (I did try to argue just a little but she only retorted "oh now, you, stop it!," in Catonese. Even so, surely, she'll offer me pick of the litter. And I interested in seeing if it was Jack or Thomas that fathered this set.

Something less than 1/20th my mass would only try to slash my heels once...

Thank you for the encouragement to pursue that which has been an interest of mine since my seventh grade English teacher presented me with a creative writing award. And similarly, my communications professor at university also noted her interested in receiving a copy of my first published work. Among other issues, the obvious need of an editor causes me too much hesitation in even attempting it. :giggle:

Hrmmph. Typical Tom.
Penny's a Ms Meany Meanerton, but not as mean as Ol' Ms Pearl. Pearl let her eat a good amount of her kibble, but she drew the line when she saw her going for the Temptations treats. Usually, Penny stays clear of Pearl, but this time, I suspect because she had just exerted every bit of her energy in birthing and/or nursing, she wasn't as concerned for her wellbeing as much as for the new kittens'.

Haha, even your replies are written so eloquently. I am almost jealous! You very much should pursue some type of writing, even if its just for fun. I would read a book from you, your words draw near those who read them. I'm sure finding an editor isn't too hard, you could always go on like fiver and pay 5-20 dollars for your draft to be checked by whoever is available.

Hey I like cats. Mom had a cat all my childhood, and whatever cat she had would usually sleep on my stomach at night.

But I don't take no crap from a cat.

Cats are smart though. It doesn't take much to let a cranky cat know you got its number. You don't even have to touch it. If it acts agressive to you, you act aggressive back to it... but immediately stop the act when the cat backs down. The message you want to give the cat is, "I don't have anything against you, but I will defend myself if you try anything." If you do it right, you can see the cranky cat regrouping and reevaluating, marking you as "somebody to keep an eye on, but not an immediate threat."

Yes, I didn't let the swat go, even though it was a soft tap with her claws unsheathed. She just wanted to scare me I guess, to show me that I was scaring her. And when she crabbed to DJ, her firstborn son, I told her to stop it, and she flopped down and relaxed, for a second.

Two cats, brother and sister. Names Tango & Sugar. My wife posted pics in another pet thread a few years ago but don't remember the name. Adopted as kittens 10 years ago. Very cute, amusing, and socialable. They like to get into trouble though. Think that it is some sort of game.
