I believe everyone deserves the right to life and to have the respect of anyone even in death no matter what people said in the past. Whether you agree or kotbisnup to you. But there are many people who went ”you may disagree with what he said but you can’t celebrate his death” after his shooting. I agree with that but have the same energy and conviction for EVERYONE not just people you happen to agree with.
And I get it it’s hard to pretend you care about someone you feel said dumb things, the left is going through it right now (not that I think Kirk said anything dumb but the left thought he did). Some have a nuanced view on this others like I mentioned are praising his murder. Let’s stay consistent on these things please.

So in the news section we discuss politics usually and i don't mix politics with God but as Christian i take seriously the command "you shall not kill". This is why i don't even have a gun!
But in the news section and the politics section which the world doesn't connect to God most of the time, the way inspiration works in history is about what you say and how you say it.
This is what has defined gifted leaders.
So when you annoy people with talking about ME ME ME and My Pronouns, people are not going to hold you as some kind of standard to follow but treat you more as an annoyance. And they don't even have to be believers in any God or religion. They are atheists.
But when you tell people, there is Hope in God, this country is blessed, having a family is wonderful, working for your values is noble, then people are not annoyed usually but they say 'maybe there is something of value here'.
So this is how leaders usually inspire people and this young man (Charlie) had the gift of communication which is extremely hard to refine and he even had it at young age.
So God used him to achieve something greater in this country.

The context was about the homeless guy(CRIMINAL) who stabbed the Ukranian lady.
If we started giving the death penalty to these CRIMINALS....Lots of crime would vanish.
He wasn't talking about rounding up all the homeless and giving them lethal injections.

That was my take, as well. It did come out badly but I understood he was speaking about the career criminal who killed Iryna Zarutska and anyone like him. If FOX chooses to fire him, so be it.

Just keeping them in jail would be a huge improvement. Thanks for the context. That was left out (as usual) nonetheless he still apoligized otherwise I guess he would be seen as ogre of the year

. There's a cultural thing here where if u have a problem with someone , stand up and fight it out , no weapons and Queensbury Rules , even the women ! Handbags and hair pulling at twenty paces ! 😆😆😆 .

I've seen some pretty serious damage done with handbags, hair pulling, claws and canned goods in grocery stores. I'm glad that the ladies didn't have guns and knives at the time.
I can see how you wouldn't want people in uncontrolled emotional state to shoot each other.

Thank you for sharing a cultural perspective from the UK.
I was thinking about that on a walk this afternoon. There are going to be differences between all cultures. Many of us Americans have been through battles to maintain the right to defend family and liberties in our lifetime. I may publish a book on my personal experiences. I shouldn't expect everyone to agree with my cultural and personal perspective about the subject because we have different backgrounds. There's much to learn from Christian Brits.

There are subjects you are probably passionate about that are rooted in deep culture and personal experiences that shaped your life. I've seen what football games are like in different regions and you'd think William Wallace was leading his army. 😄
My favorite actor is/was British and that's a sample of someone highly skilled at his vocation and helped me to enjoy acting in theater through my youth.

When I get into the topic, it's because I taught hand to hand Combat with weapons and without up to recently. One reason that motivated me was the suffering I saw and crimes against my family since I was just 4 years old. I never had any emotional support or therapy. I've gone through things you'd have a hard time believing in my adult years too. I've been attacked by all manner of people with a broad spectrum of weapons, poison, knives, shotgun, handguns, rifles, steel beam, lawfare, fists, thrown from high places, stones, clubs, automobiles, choking and asphyxiation. I found out that there's a lot of lethal weapons besides firearms.

It's been the grace of God I'm still alive to share written online conversations. The Lord used my experiences and training to help impart to decent men, women and children the skill sets necessary for health and survival.

Would it be wrong for the good guys should have more power than the criminals?

Apparently a rich guy called Brian Kilmeade literally just suggested "involuntary lethal injection" for homeless people on FOX news.... Which IMO, does kinda actually cross a free speech line; but it's not like somebody can fire him, and I doubt we will see republicans call for him to be stripped of his wealth.

True. Okay for me but not for thee.

Assemblies of God pastor taught that was a bad translation, the word is more closely translated as "murder", "Thou shalt not murder". Of course we should be prepared to defend ourselves our own.

I watched this clip and he said it with a totally straight face. He said the quiet part out loud. Now he's made an apology and that's supposed to make it okay? And they wonder why the "radical left" hates them.

More people turning to God as a result of Charlie's memorial.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Valuable definitions

JK Rowling pointed out what this bloodlust revealed about the left:

“If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.

If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.

If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.

If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.”

I have a different definition for fundamentalist, the issue is not that they are closed to considering all other evidence, it is that the evidence would have to come from the Bible.

I have heard a number of people claim that Charlie Kirk was spewing hate and was a racist.

That made no sense to me, I have heard him speak a few times and never once did I detect any hint of racism or hate. But then I heard this Muslim woman speak and it became clear. Charlie Kirk was a Christian who believed the Bible when it says that God will bless those that bless Israel. That is what they are referring to!

What they are really saying is every single Evangelical Bible believing Christian is spewing hate and is a racist. Time to wake up.

Why Charlie Kirk Looked That Way in His Casket (Embalmer Reacts)

If conservatives were involved in getting that msnbc mouthpiece fired dont you think they would do the same to other left wing spin doctors?
I didn't suggest conservatives were involved in that one; they probably didn't have to be. The people on the left were quick to point out the "absence of symmetry" IOW they probably hoped they would set off a chain reaction of firings that would cause chaos; but it didn't work.

That made no sense to me,
A lot of it also has to do with his (correct) arguments against DEI; Out of context, some of his statements sound racist; but a lot of people that promote DEI will say it's racist to even argue against DEI to begin with.
