t is one’s understanding that it takes only 9 of the 15 Nations that make-up the Security Council to ratify a new U.N. Country into the Family of Nations. But any 1 of the P5 or the 5 Permanent Members can veto such an Application for admissions to be a Sovereign State in the Family of Nations. The U.N. Security Council is comprised of 5 Permanent (P5). The P5 Members are listed below in alpha-order.

1 China
2 France
3 Russia
4 United Kingdom
5 United States

Then there are 10 Non-Permanent Members of the U.N. Security Council elected for 2-Year Terms. As of September 2025, the Non-Permanent Members are as follows.

1 Algeria
2 Denmark
3 Greece
4 Guyana
5 Pakistan
6 Panama
7 South Korea
8 Sierra Leone
9 Slovenia
10 Somalia

TOTAL: 15 Nation Security Council

The Veto Option – Will it be used?
With regard to the number of votes required for Admission of a New Member Nation to the U.N.? The Admission of a New Member State is a 2-Step process. The Security Council must 1st recommend the Admission of a New Member State that is brought-up for ‘Recommendation’.

This is what has to happen during the Preliminary Meetings that will be held and will lead-up to the September 23, 2025 meeting. This is where and when the General Assembly will take a vote to admit the New Member State. So, if the USA does not veto Palestine’s bid to be a U.N. Member, then the Recommendation will be passed-on to the General Assembly for a vote on the floor.

And given the Geo-Political and worldwide backlash against Israel, most likely the fake State of Palestine will go from a U.N. Observer Member to a full-fledge Sovereign State. The Source of these Protocols can be found in the U.N. Charter which states the following below.
Then note precisely where it states that only 9 Members of the Security Council are needed to forward the Recommendation to the General Assembly. It can be confusing as to when the Veto Power and Option can and is used. Emphasis added.

So, in summary, the Admission of a New Member State is not ‘Procedural’. It is considered a ‘Substantive Matter’. This is where it gets confusing. What does that mean? As one can best understand it, it means that to be voted upon by the General Assembly, a Recommended New State requires at least 9 votes out of 15. This is understood as mentioned prior. This includes all the 5 Permanent Members of the Security Council, concurring.

But then, there is the Veto Power of the 5 Permanent Members. It just depends what is a ‘Procedural’ Vote and what is a Vote regarding a ‘Substantive Matter’. This is where you need a U.N. Lawyer. Here is the confusion on one’s part. The United Nations Security Council ‘Veto Power’ pertains to the power of the 5 Permanent Members of the UN Security Council to veto any decision other than a ‘Procedural’ Decision.

Is the Application of a New State a ‘Procedural’ Decision? Then according to research, a Permanent Member's Abstention or Absence does not count as a Veto. So, according to the Articles quoted in the U.N. Charter, for a New State to be recommended and passed-on for a General Assembly Floor Vote, it requires 9 Votes in total from the Security Council. But all 5 Permanent Members must agree, yet anyone of them can veto the Admission. What if some back-door deals have been made by then?

The Vote of the Century
However, any one of the 5 Permanent Members can veto the Application of a New State Recommendation. So, to be clear, any P5 Member of the U.N. Security Council can veto a Recommendation for the admission of a New State. It is because the Veto Power applies to all ‘Substantive Decisions’, which includes Membership Admissions. This is where the confusion on one’s part is not clear. As best as one can understand it, it means that any of the 5 Permanent Members can vote against the proposed New State.

By exercising a Veto from any of the P5, the Member Application and Recommendation will not be moved forward to the General Assembly for a vote. One can get confusing in all this ‘Legalese’. But to reiterate, a minimum of 9 out of the 15 Members of the United Nations Security Council must vote in favor of a New Nation's Application for it to be recommended to the General Assembly. But any of the 5 Permanent Members (5P) of the United Nations Security Council can veto an Application for a New Nation.

This is regardless of the support it may have from the other Members within the Security Council, coming from both the Permanent ones and the Non-Permanent ones. So, despite a majority of the Security Council supporting a Palestinian State, for example, a single Veto by the USA can halt it. The question will be, will President Trump direct his U.N. Ambassador to veto the Bid of the State of Palestine?

Or, by that time, has he made prior deals with the Muslims, with the Saudis and with Israel. Has there been already a Compromise of a Conspiracy of some sort in order to forward the Application of the Palestine State trough to the General Assembly? For a vote? Has Trump or the USA already approved or agreed to the 2-State Deception? Does Netanyahu and the Saudi concur. If the Bible stipulates that during Daniel’s last Week of Year, Israel will make a ‘Deal with the Devil’, nothing is off the U.N. Table.

If so, consider that this will be a monumental point in Human History. It will be Biblical if it turns out to be this way. But some Students of the End Times ask, ‘What Palestine State?’ Gaza? It is a ruinous heap of concrete. And the ‘West Bank?’ It will be the demise of the Gog-Magog Armies in the future that will fall on its Mountains, precisely called the ‘Mountains of Israel’, not the ‘West Bank’.

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

This is the first time since 1948 that we have had a blood moon in September followed two weeks later by a solar eclipse on September 21. This is even more interesting because it is two days before the Feast of Trumpets on September 23 and a UN meeting voting on a two state solution for Israel. If you understand the seventieth week of Israel begins on Feast of Trumpets you can see why this is considered a sign.

Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

The reason God gathers the nations to Armageddon is because they "parted" His land.

Israel in a troubled time:

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Wednesday she will seek sanctions and a partial trade suspension against Israel over the war in Gaza

The 27-nation EU is deeply divided in its approach to Israel and the Palestinians, and it’s unclear whether a majority will be found to endorse the sanctions and trade measures.

Meanwhile, emergency personnel in Qatar dug through the rubble of an Israeli attack on Hamas’ political leaders who had gathered in the energy-rich Mideast nation to consider a U.S. proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The European Parliament approved on Thursday a resolution calling on EU member states to “consider recognizing the State of Palestine, with a view to achieving the two state solution”.

While the Parliament has supported the “in principle recognition of Palestinian statehood” in the past, this new resolution seems to be a more direct call on national governments to act. The resolution calls on all EU institutions and member states to take diplomatic steps to ensure commitment to a two-state solution.

The resolution was approved with 305 votes in favour, 151 against and 122 abstentions. According to Italian Socialist MEP Nicola Zingaretti, the result was the outcome of thorough negotiations among the political groups on various amendments.

The vote was long and tense, and members of the Parliament even asked for a pause to check the amendment votes on Gaza before proceeding to the final vote on the resolution as a whole.

Another contentious point in the resolution was the use of the term “genocide” to describe Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The wording “genocidal actions” was eventually rejected and excluded from the text.

MEPs have also demanded an immediate and permanent ceasefire, as well as the unconditional release of all Israeli hostages held in Gaza. The resolution recognises Israel’s security and right to self-defence, but stresses that it cannot justify indiscriminate military action in Gaza, and expresses concern over the continuous military operations in the strip.

The 27 member states of the European Union are split over the recognition of a Palestinian state.

Some recognised Palestine in 1988, before they became EU member states: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, and Romania.

The former Czechoslovakia also recognised Palestinian statehood in 1988, but when it split in 1992, the Czech Republic did not recognise such a state, while Slovakia did.

In October 2014, Sweden became the first country to recognise Palestine as an EU member state, followed by Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia in 2024.

Other EU countries will follow soon: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Malta have already announced their plan to recognise Palestine as a state.

At the 1999 European Council in Berlin, national leaders declared themselves ready to “recognise a Palestinian state in due course”, recognising the "unqualified Palestinian right to self-determination, including the option of a state".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Thursday evening that “there will be no Palestinian state,” as he signed an agreement to push ahead with the controversial E1 settlement expansion plan that will cut across West Bank land Palestinians seek for a state.

“We are going to fulfill our promise that there will be no Palestinian state; this place belongs to us,” Netanyahu said during a visit to the Ma’ale Adumim settlement in the West Bank, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, where thousands of new housing units would be added.

“We will safeguard our heritage, our land and our security… We are going to double the city’s population,” he added.
Netanyahu said that the project is about “realizing a vision… something very big is happening here.”

Last month, the E1 project, which would bisect the West Bank and cut it off from East Jerusalem, received final planning approval. Thursday’s signing ceremony was largely symbolic, but it allowed authorities to move forward with construction.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) -The United Nations General Assembly on Friday overwhelmingly voted to endorse a declaration outlining "tangible, timebound, and irreversible steps" towards a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians ahead of a meeting of world leaders.

The seven-page declaration is the result of an international conference at the U.N. in July - hosted by Saudi Arabia and France - on the decades-long conflict. The United States and Israel boycotted the event.
A resolution endorsing the declaration received 142 votes in favor and 10 against, while 12 countries abstained.

The United Nations General Assembly votes overwhelmingly to endorse a declaration outlining “tangible, time-bound and irreversible steps” toward a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians, without the involvement of Hamas.

One hundred and forty-two countries vote in favor of the non-binding resolution enshrining the New York Declaration, which also calls on Hamas to release all hostages and condemns the terror group’s October 7 onslaught.

Joining Israel and the United States in opposing the resolution were Argentina, Hungary, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay and Tonga. Twelve countries abstained.

It also calls for “collective action to end the war in Gaza, to achieve a just, peaceful and lasting settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the effective implementation of the two-state solution.”

The declaration, which was endorsed by the Arab League and co-signed in July by 17 UN member states, including several Arab countries, also goes further than condemning Hamas, seeking to fully excise the terror group from leadership in Gaza.

“In the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, with international engagement and support, in line with the objective of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State,” the declaration states.

The vote precedes an upcoming UN summit co-chaired by Riyadh and Paris on September 22 in New York, in which French President Emmanuel Macron has promised to formally recognize the Palestinian state. Several other countries have made similar pledges. Israel has called the planned recognition of a Palestinian state a “prize for terror.”

Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Qatarei Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that Doha will host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit next Monday, which would be held in light of the latest developments in the region

Dr. Al Ansari told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the summit will discuss a draft resolution on the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, submitted by the preparatory meeting of the foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday.

He stressed that holding the Arab-Islamic summit at this time has several meanings and connotations, and reflects the broad Arab and Islamic solidarity with the State of Qatar in confronting the cowardly Israeli aggression that targeted the residential headquarters of a number of Hamas leaders, and the categorical rejection of these countries of the state terrorism practiced by Israel.

Dan 7:25
He shall speak words against the Most High,
and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,
and shall think to change the times and the law;
and they shall be given into his hand
for a time, two times, and half a time.

This verse in Daniel 7 says: “he will think to change times (that’s history) and laws (that’s the scriptures).” In other words, he’s been planning it all this time. But then the verse says “and they shall be given to his hand.” Again, in other words, the Lord God allows him to do it.

I see what you mean. This conflict between Israel and the entire world could give the antichrist an opportunity to reveal himself and confirm a covenant with many and have the third Jewish temple built.

I really think we're very close to this happening....

The 193-member world body approved a nonbinding resolution endorsing the “New York Declaration,” which sets out a phased plan to end the nearly 80-year conflict. The vote was 142-10 with 12 abstentions.

United Nations investigators on Tuesday accused Israel of committing “genocide” in Gaza in a bid to “destroy the Palestinians”, blaming Israel’s prime minister and other top officials for incitement.

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry (COI), which does not speak on behalf of the world body and has faced harsh Israeli criticism, found that “genocide is occurring in Gaza and is continuing to occur”, commission chief Navi Pillay told AFP.

“The responsibility lies with the State of Israel.”

DOHA, Qatar — Arab and Muslim leaders called for a review of ties with Israel after emergency talks in Doha on Monday following last week’s IDF strike on Hamas members in the Qatari capital.

The Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation joint session, which brought together nearly 60 countries, sought to take firm action after Israel’s attack on Qatar-hosted Hamas officials as they discussed a Gaza ceasefire proposal.

A joint statement from the summit urged “all states to take all possible legal and effective measures to prevent Israel from continuing its actions against the Palestinian people,” including “reviewing diplomatic and economic relations with it, and initiating legal proceedings against it.”

It was not immediately clear, though, what practical steps participating countries might take against Israel

Now I'm REALLY curious what God is going to do for Israel with all the opposition the country is facing. Or will the antichrist cut in somehow to confirm a covenant with many but also have the third Jewish temple built and the daily sacrifices restarted?

The last days are really so close! I feel the great falling away (apostasy) is already here and we're just waiting for the antichrist to show up.
