Everyone who is saved has the Spirit, whether an OT saint or NT.
And your claim is simply conjecture. Moses was a murderer and Noah a drunk. Noah may have held a candle but he couldn't hold his liquor.
Ahhhh, digging up dirt to level the playing field even though God said Noah was a righteous man and Moses had the training to be Pharaoh which God used for His Will mightily.

oops feel,

Great. I'm sure @Jordan will take it off before worshipping. Also, while you're gathering honey, don't forget to gathering a sense of humor.
It's ok cameron it's just him showing he's displeased.

He's has a got a sense of humour to, it's called sarcasm is the best form of wit.

What he doesn't realise at this stage is I've seen it all before,

But also what he doesn't realise is I live with people everyday who are just like this, and quite often ill just say would you like a cup tea, and a some honey on toast before that bear wakes up 😂

Wow. So it turns out biblical heroes are simply regular people God used to show His glory through. Moses' education, regardless of how good it may have been at the time, pales in comparison to today's education.
Also, God never uses the strength of men, but their weakness. Moses spent 40 years on the backside of the desert unlearning the leadership strengths of men, and learning the qualities of godly leadership.

Todays's education in many ways will dumb down a person.

Education does not raise one's IQ.
Moses was a military genius...
A musical genius...
And, a theological genius.
Today's education can not produce another Moses.

Regular people cease being regular once God finds someone whom His grace can be manifested in.

Sampson was a regular person....

it a Jewish saying for boring, old hat
Really?

Where did you get that notion from?
I being born a Jew find your concept a bit skewed.

The phrase "old hat" is an idiom that means something is out of date, old-fashioned, or worn out due to familiarity.
It suggests that the item or idea has become uninteresting or predictable.

Jewish?????

Sarcasm is said to be the lowest form of wit...

Very often built in to sarcasm is dishonesty.
Yep could be, all tho I don't agree with sarcasm being the best form of wit.

Just I realised he was being sarcastic towards me.

It's a shame really, maybe he doesn't realise that I like to take part in these discussions, to see if my beliefs line up with scripture.

I don't take part to enforce my beliefs in anyway.

But seeing as he doesn't like certain beliefs for whatever reason he has, he will no doubt always assume like others that we think of ourselves more highly than him.

It's seems to be a common occurrence around here.

Nope I've already said it once that Gods sovereign will is known only in him.

i keep stopping between races for a chat as I find this topic interesting.

Nope. Moses was a man God richly gifted.

Why do you guys always exalt men over God?

Just my two cents, Cameron, but I think they were judged righteous because they were made so by Christ - His righteousness being freely imputed unto them - from which God viewed them as righteous - they had been saved:

[Isa 54:17 KJV] 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

On one level I agree, but OT saints are always said to have righteousness accounted to them, and not imputed. It's similar to their sins being covered. I believe the language employed because Jesus had yet to go to the cross where He pays for sin and accomplish all righteousness. The promise is there because the cross will inevitably come, but has not actually been accomplished

It is God who exalts men...
Not the other way around.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand,
so that He may exalt you at the appropriate time."
1 Peter 5:6

How come you keep missing so much?

Hmmm. Okay, I can accept that distinction. Thanks, and I'll ponder it more.

Races? ..What is most unfortunate about this topic is people believing that because they can choose what colour of socks to wear, or whether to have fries or salad with lunch, that man's will is free, when Scripture teaches no such thing, and in fact teaches that man's will is NOT free. But people seem stuck on the idea regardless of what Scripture actually says, and those who oppose what Scripture says proliferate, contradicting and outright denying that which is explicitly articulated, and we have seen several cases where they rewrite verses they do not like, as well. Then there are those too who as soon as you say man's will is not free, jump immediately to, oh, you are saying man is a robot, or man has no will of his own, which is just another misrepresentation and erroneous assumptions blown into false accusations. So we see people who claim to be Christians using their freedom to commit evil. Pretty sad. Even sadder that they rarely repent, and it is a sad fact also that some would rather blaspheme God than ever admit they were wrong... and blaspheme God they do.

Sugarcoating.png

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3 v 23). There is no one who does not sin (from 1 Kings 8 v 46). No one living is righteous before You (from Psalm 143 v 2). If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (1 John 1 v 8). Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” (John 8 v 34) And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed (John 3 v 19-20). The heart is incurably wicked (Jeremiah 17 v 9). What is evil? Sin is evil. Stop sugar coating it. All men sin, and commit evil in the sight of God. There are none good, no, not one! A bad tree cannot bring forth good fruit.

God exalts the humble and lowly.

The above truth doesn't negate that men very often exalt men. We have seen quite a bit of this exemplified on this very thread.
