• Waiting can be hard, but when we wait God's way, the wait is never wasted.

• Obedience brings blessings. Would it always be convenient to obey? No it won't, but God honours obedience. The blessings that comes with obeying God might not be immediate, but eventually it will come.

• Praying for others in your time of distress/when your own problems wouldn't even go away and being able to rejoice with them when God is blessing them with the things you might have been praying and trusting Him for, but still haven't received, might not be an easy thing to do, but God wants us to do it all the same, genuinely.
We have the Holy Spirit to comfort us in our own troubles and help us rejoice genuinely for others, we have the grace of God to do what we cannot do on our own. i.e If you're struggling to do it, God can help you, ask Him for help...
Yes, God turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends.

• Faith in God's word and in who He is in the battles of life cannot be overemphasized, it is compulsory!

• Having friends that can pray for and with you is such a blessing. Fighting alone can be exhausting sometimes... May God give you friends who speak only the truth of God's word/faith filled words into your life.

I think Job friends were the ones who had problems with God not Job. Jobs friends troubled his faith with their answers. Effectively Job said screw you friends i still love God and will serve Him regardless. He proved it by praying for his friends to be forgiven. God smiled and restored everything Job lost.

Job's, "even if He kills me..." was similar to Esther's sentiment, "if I die, I die..." And in both cases, Satan and his counterpart, Haman, would've 'loved' to have killed them. Job and Esther stopped arguing with the lie that it pleases God, and in Esther's case, the King, to kill them with the answer, "if it would please the Lord and King, then so should it be unto me." I think they must've, if only intuitively, known otherwise having the experience of an intimate acquaintance with God and Artaxerxes, that they would be keep through their times of trouble. And they were right.
