Why do so many people prefer Paul over Peter?

I think its because Paul Preaches a Gentile Gospel and the rest preach a Jewish Gospel and they are understood differently. I wouldnt expect a Gentile to be that interested in Peters preaching.

It is not a matter of preference as far as the correctness of their teaching but rather because Paul's contribution to the NT
far exceeds that of Peter, the first epistle of Peter duplicates many of Paul’s teachings, and 2Peter 3:15-16 affirms Paul.

I think its because Paul Preaches a Gentile Gospel and the rest preach a Jewish Gospel and they are understood differently. I wouldnt expect a Gentile to be that interested in Peters preaching.

They both proclaimed the same gospel. One from the perspective of a highly educated man; the other from the perspective of an uneducated fisherman

Matthew 11:28 - 30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Repenting is believing on Jesus alone for salvation. Man's inclination is to try to save himself by adding works to this list. Note that the ones Jesus condemns are those who refer to their works. The will of the Father is to believe on the One whom the Father hath sent - Jesus who is the Christ. Works should follow repentance, but these do not save.

Matthew 7:21 - 23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Paul's contributions to the NT far outnumber Peter's. Peter was also found to be in error, and was corrected by Paul. Coming out of a Pharisaical background, Paul had a superior depth of understanding of the law, and he was able to fairly seamlessly make the connections between the purpose of the law, and the life, ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of our Lord (which fulfilled hundreds of prophecies), and allowed him to develop what has become core Christian theology. His effectiveness in bringing the Christian message to the Gentiles is unparalleled

Neither Peter nor Paul have their own gospel. The Gospel is the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Several NT writers revealed part of it, but only collectively is it the entire Gospel revealed to us.

The finality of the cross in the risen Son for us to be new in love and mercy to all, no longer a dew as people do choose, that is over to me seeing new from Daddy, Father, PaPa

Many people misinterpret the age of grace, given to us all by Father through Son. Who did what was needed to get done under Law for us all, perfection.

What is done? The Law for any and all who will repent to God not necessary to each other. Go, ask God for the new born again life offered in John 3, John 10:10 last part of the verse. Trust God did it, Eph 1:6,7,13
However, it is so easy, that it is not easy. Since the first born flesh spirit will not get out of the way.
Born again is dead to first born self and alive to the risen Son to lead thee, if not willing willingly, then one might not see what free given salvation really is.
Without Christ being willing to Father and do it through terrible treatment, none , no one would ever have a chance. And this is not about having to do it too, since no flesh nature can ever please Father and Son.
Believe God, God who knows us each personally, will reveal this or not yet, Father knows best. I have been on a long road, not quitting belief to see, I see, it is none of me and all of God Father, and Son for me to be new and made new in Father's Spirit and Truth, John 4:23-24

Neither Peter nor Paul have their own gospel. The Gospel is the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Several NT writers revealed part of it, but only collectively is it the entire Gospel revealed to us.
