I'm stopping here. You're misunderstanding or making up things to argue about again. Like you did with @GWH about infancy which you turned into birth so you could argue. No interest today.

They are called "Disruptors."
No purpose other than to break up the flow of productivity of Christians wishing to build each other up in more and more understanding.
Usually stems from an unresolved carnal resentment of people.

Good timing. I was walking and pondering this issue this morning, so your post catches me right afterward. There are indeed a lot of problems on display here from carnality on.

That's why I had to put her on "Ignore" - she isolates Bible verses or passages so that they only convey her Calvinist false doctrines and not within their original context. I don't want that spirit influencing me.

I find this portion to be the best at exposing the fallacy of Calvinist teaching:

Matthew 18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

I agree with your sentiment, but hope you do not also become judgmental and unforgiving,
which I have experienced from her for quite awhile and you rather recently--to my surprise and chagrin.

Yes, there is hope for you IF YOU one day can acknowledge and confess to God that you're a helpless, wretched, vile, depraved sinner with a desperately wicked and deceitful heart and cry out to the Lord to rescue you.

I acknowledge being a sinner, but you forget that I have always loved the Lord, because I never rebelled against my Christian upbringing (cf. 2Tim 3:15-17), so my testimony is rather boring compared with yours.

Has that been your experience with them? Tell me what they did to you.

Anyway, the Bible says to stay away from people who pervert the gospel or promote false doctrine.

Calvinists say Jesus only offers to and saves certain people, not offers salvation to everybody. They're quite unrepentant about it even when the Bible spells it out that Jesus died for everyone. So they perpetuate their false doctrine.

I had gotten to know a few Calvinists but I didn't see much of a changed life in any of them.

Astute observation indeed >>> "carnal resentment of people."

My main experience is the "Once Saved Always Saved" crowd. Because I deal with the rapture these ones are always pushing their doctrine, just like seventh day adventists always end their their videos with their doctrine.

There is a wide range of Calvinists from those who claim that your salvation is preordained. That is not completely unscriptural but if they take it to an extreme it stifles the gospel. At the same time the other end of the spectrum they claim that once saved always saved, again not completely unscriptural, but taken to an extreme it gives Christians a sense that they don't need to worry about the things they today if they prayed 20 years ago.

Calvinists are the prevailing doctrine of the FreeMasons and the FreeMasons have infected the board of directors of virtually every well funded 501c3 church.

When you challenge them about verses in the Bible that indicate various people have fallen away from the faith their argument is always that they were never really saved to start with.

That is why this section in Matthew 18 is so powerful. You can't deny that the Lord is describing someone saved by faith and whose sins were forgiven but who then due to unforgiveness in his heart was dealt with. The section does not address the issue over whether or not his soul is eternally saved, but without a doubt, that guy is not getting raptured.

There are certain types that embed themselves into Christian forums to prevent wisdom and understanding reaching a consensus.
They wish to break it up and prevent solid foundations from be established.

And, till the day they die, they will keep making an issue out of the same erroneous concepts that impressed them while they were baby Christians. Never maturing. And, without realizing it. Wishing to prevent others from exceeding them in understanding.

God's sovereignty confounds them because they keep projecting their concept of a sovereign God having their own attributes of how they would do things if they were a sovereign God. It's a vicious cycle.

Number 1. They can not admit they were wrong when they swallowed TULIP.

God is sovereign. Yes! And, God sovereignly decreed that man's volition will be the basis to choose what he wants to believe.
For man to be made in God's image? Would require we have been given our own realm of sovereignty to reflect the nature of God!

God's patience is what keeps His wrath stored in a warehouse.

grace and peace .......

I would agree here with their special gnosis doctrine and the denial of ability to believe the Good News so that people are "poofed" into a state of believing.

is the Good News.

Saved is Saved!
Yes and raptured is raptured, justified is justified, sanctified is sanctified. Reward is reward.

There is no reward for being saved, that was a free gift of God.

To be raptured you are a vessel unto honor and that indicates you have sanctified yourself.

This is why I wonder if they really could be categorized as Christians because they worship a Jesus that doesn't exist except in their own minds. But they want to appear legitimate by glomming on to genuine Christianity even though there are massive false teachings in their doctrine that go against God's ways in the Bible.

Anyway, the Bible says to avoid such people especially those that have been non-stop trying to drill their false doctrines/teachings into us in certain threads. God knows - the Bible even acknowledges of their existence and what they're doing.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

There are other false doctrines being pushed in these forums so I'm including those people in the above verses as well.

These are perilous times - satan is trying to get as many Christians to believe in these false doctrines. The great apostasy doesn't require a Christian to renounce Christianity - but to embrace just enough false doctrine to steer them away from true salvation. That's what happening right now.

You promote false teaching that doesn't line up with God and His ways in the Bible. I don't need approval from you or your emotional support monkey.
