Faith comes from God
Romans 10:17
New King James Version
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Does it clearly state it comes from God or is it being adding in?

You have the person who cannot hear, hearing, and the person who cannot obey, obeying, and the person who is under the power of the devil, choosing to believe in God, as if in your theology, Satan is winning souls for God instead of the opposite. You have claimed everyone hears. Jesus said otherwise. You have made several other claims that are the exact opposite of what Scripture says, including everyone is born with everything they need to come to faith, which is simply not true. You come across as clueless but want to teach because you value yourself as such a great researcher when you cannot even get the Scriptures right... so you teach error. And then like your buddy you would rather blaspheme God than admit you are wrong. Terrible. When the "reformed" have the logical, undeniable conclusion of their doctrine pointed out to them and have it presented in basic clear language...
the typical response is >>>> you are lying and misrepresenting their beliefs or the person does not understand the doctrine.
It is textbook behavior.
I'm particularly concerned with the source of faith. What is the genesis of faith?
Are you totally none reformed.?When the "reformed" have the logical, undeniable conclusion of their doctrine pointed out to them and have it presented in basic clear language...

Or a better question have you ever been reformed.
I take it you can understand using projection to argue with is a bit silly.
Election isn't selection. Election is choosing a people and creating them. Just like God did with the Jews and the church. Selection would be creating first and then choosing from the group. You confuse election with selection, and so you err.https://christianchat.com/threads/can-we-really-exercise-free-will.218061/post-5568419
"I do believe in election. Clearly taught in the Bible."
This is your answer verbatim. I changed nothing.
I actually adhere to many of their doctrinal views but I know where they want to apply election for themselves when we know God spoke about the ancient Hebrew Jews [Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:4-5]. And I understand that even though Jesus used words like whoever wants to believe or Peter in Acts 2 the Reformed will change that to the saved only even though the WORD whoever literally means anyone both saved and not saved.Well, since I am one I know them pretty well. Evangelism started out with the Reformed. The Great Awakenings were started by reformers. You have no understanding of reformers, you just parrot the things you hear, or paint every reformed person with the brush of a hyper-calvinist you must know.
James 1:18...He begat us with the word of truth."concerned"
You had faith birthed in you, tells us all about it?
Are you going to tell us all about how you have had this about face on having a personal relationship with God? Has He finally revealed Himself to you? Was it a burning bush? A road to Damascus affair? Were you swallowed by a whale? Do please tell! Since it is your contention that it would be unfair of God to reveal Himself in any way that was not the exact same way as to another, surely He would choose one of those means to let you know you were right? Oops. Except you are wrong. This is why I don't think you have read enough of the Bible. Either that or your comprehension is really very low. I think you need to read more of the Bible so your views align better with it."concerned"

Actually, it was his own words through a post to someone who doesn't believe in God that hurt his own character.well if you feel it's correct should you now not go and retract your statement, and apologise to the person you aimed it at, as you also used this analysis to put down his character with.
So is that repentance for bearing false witness against your neighbor?I actually adhere to many of their doctrinal views but I know where they want to apply election for themselves when we know God spoke about the ancient Hebrew Jews [Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:2-3]. And I understand that even though Jesus used words like whoever wants to believe or Peter in Acts 2 the Reformed will change that to the saved only even though the WORD whoever literally means anyone both saved and not saved.
So you have to do better because if anyone is misinterpreting Scripture to benefit themselves it's absolutely the Reformed.
No, because only 1 actually confessed to be a witness. And a few said making disciples isn't their job. So nothing much was done only to confirm my original understanding. So is that repentance for bearing false witness against your neighbor?
James 1:18...He begat us with the word of truth.
You lie again. Why? Misrepresentation and you know it. Deliberate. Who's your daddy???We all know regeneration (new life, birth) is a work of God after excising personal faith
Ok well you never answered the question again.Have read any research on these behaviors which are quite uniformly present in this sect, it is quite interesting, maybe you should investigate further.

We all know regeneration (new life, birth) is a work of God after excising personal faith and most definitely James has regeneration in view here.
Election is definitely in Scripture. Just more for you to deny and blaspheme God for.I am sure that is in scripture somewhere.![]()
I knew you wouldn't. We aren't talking here about other people. You're attributing what other people said to people here, who have said repeatedly what you are saying isn't true about us. You continue to bear false witness. That's on you.No, because only 1 actually confessed to be a witness. And a few said making disciples isn't their job. So nothing much was done only to confirm my original understanding.
