How do we distinguish false Christ & false Prophets according to Our Lord?

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a great warning about False Christ & Prophets

MATTHEW 24:23-24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I like the way Luke puts it: "And He said: Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, I am He, and, The time has drawn near. Therefore do not go after them."

Watch out for those who say "The time has drawn near."

Yes the version of Luke is more dangerous because it is specified the word MANY WILL COME.

How do we distinguish them according to Our Lord Jesus.

I like John 10:26-27: "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." If their voice is not the Lord's, that's a pretty big giveaway.

Matthew 7:16 also says you will know them by their fruits.

Yes, they shall deceive those ignorant of GW with pseudo signs such as tongues and fake healing.
(Cf. Matt. 4:4, John 13:35 & 2Tim. 3:15-17)

Satan approaching God comes to mind. I suppose that God knew what he was up to, (regardless?) of the inquiry, "from whence have you come?" so, He cuts to the chase, "have you considered my servant Job?"...the trap is set, and Satan is eager to swallow the hook, "Yes, as a matter of fact, and Job's a fake!"

Didn't read the comments but this "false prophet" gets tossed at those that are just some preacher/teacher/believer said some (I'd say most the time) silly doctrine they don't like or agree with.

Now you do have the "anointed" telling you the truth they have is the real truth. A false prophet.. OT...was not always wrong many times they were spot on. False because GOD never spoke to them. Today its not some silly doctrine we don't agree with so duh false prophet.

Its really easy if you think about it. What comes out of there mouth? How many times do we hear the bad the sin the fault, the got the scripture wrong or we say twisted. That's the first thing we hear. Should not our desire to see the good first? They will know you are mine by your love one for another. What ...I don't have the right word but when "Christ came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds sin was buried rose the 3rd day the only way the Father" <---this for some its not good enough. This for some does not mean your saved. Love sees what? Theres no "if" here...what does love not see/find? Believes all things. Sorry getting lost here.

Also its like some say here "I need chapter and verse for that" I love this. Like He said.. Keep your eyes on Me.. stay in His word and you will not be deceived.

True. Disagreement over secondary matters of doctrine do not warrant the insult. Disagreement over primary doctrines may.

It is completely appropriate to ask for "chapter and verse" in response to a claim that the Bible says such and such, but you're pretty sure it doesn't.

Do not make Our Lord Jesus a liar. He said MANY and I'm not.

How do I believe to a man who can't identify God the Father?
Without knowing God the Father the sins are not forgiven.
If your sins are not forgiven then you don't have connection to God the Father.
Since God the Father is the Truth then there is no Truth in you.
You speak for yourself only.
In other words, what did you say, what you are saying and what will you say are not truth.

You can compare yourself to Sounding Brass or Tinkling Cymbal.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-3
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

According to Our Lord Jesus here is a sign of the false Christ.
He looks like Jesus with Two Horns like a Lamb.
REVELATION 13:11
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

If he looks Jesus, how do we distinguish him?

Can we plainly see fruit? Can we tell if it is fake or real unless we go to it and take a bite? I, tell you if you get a mouthful of wax, then leave it behind you and learn from it, without accusing or excusing it, or even fighting it in your own flesh nature, not redeemed yet. I recommend to turn to God over it and learn new from God in it, contentment in all things.This, happened to me in my walk and got me stuck for years under Law, that I cannot shake off. Only Dad, Father, Papa in risen Son can, has done, and does for us each personally, that sincerely believe God in risen Son, Jesus. Yet, evil does not go away, it hides around the corner, trying to find a way back in to get you to conform to its selfishness to be God over God the righteous one, only One Righteous God Father as Jesus said is the only one righteous in Matthew 19 and other places as well.
Read the Bible to know God personally sincerely, not fro any self gain please, then the truth will set you free too, thank you

Once Father steps into the willing ones to see truth over errors, one see and rsamains humble as in Matthew 10:16-20 and Luke 21:14-15 tells me and even in Acts 5 towards the last part, when they got whipped for telling the truth Jesus is risen not dead
 
I was saved about two years when our Head Church sent us a new Pastor and sent ours overseas. The new guy was a good orator. After one year I noticed that some of what he preached contradicted the Bible. I noticed that he was kicking people out that disagreed with him. Then he neglected gods word altogether in his sermons. Thats when it began to resemble a Cult. So I fasted and prayed and felt led to Leave that Church. I never said anything to anyone. Later I found out that the pastor told the congregation that I left because I had Demons and that if they leave his church they lose their salvation. The abuse got worse. The head church was a former 4 square that Chuck Smith pastored long before. It turned wacko. So I line up what comes over the pulpit with the Bible, if it dont fit its a fake. Ive been through a lot of Churches over the years. IMO not many Churches preach Gods Word anymore.

Jesus never said that he is God the father!
Forgiving of sins is conectet with the faith in Jesus Christ. Not in knowing God. For no human beiing it is possible to know God. Except he reveales everything about Himself. But this he not did. He reveals what we need to know!

Whom we believe?
*Man saying that For no human beiing it is possible to know God.

*Or God the Father said everybody could know him from least to the greatest.
It is being said by God the Father in The Old Testament.
JEREMIAH 31:34
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Then Our Lord Jesus repeated it in The New Testament.
HEBREWS 8:11-12
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

A man will become stubborn in the eyes of God if he will not believe that it could.

A man can do nothing to distinguish in his own who is the false Christ and false Prophets.

It is only Our Lord Jesus who could reveal so we can distinguish them.

In The New Testament, Jesus revealed it to his Disciples only but not to the Jews (even though the Jews believe in the words of God).
MARK 4:34
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
