I think some in the US are Tired of this cycle and just want to ignore it. I think others believe that Israel should solve the problem on their own as they are strong enough now. Some are Tired of being "World Police" and "World Nanny" and "World Sugar Daddy". Me? I left and Joined Col. Kurtz in The Mountains of SE Asia. Thailand "The Land Of Smiles". US President Donald Trump has said he is surprised that Israel’s once-powerful lobby in Washington is losing influence in Congress, acknowledging a generational shift in opinion within his own Republican Party.

As can be seen, the whole world is literally against Israel including more and more within the US and within the Church (sadly heading for the great apostasy). That means God's miracles will really stand out up against all this opposition. And it will be more apparent who belongs to God and who doesn't.

Sadly, it speaks of the falling away of many, Constantine did much harm teaching people the error of needing to go through an earthly church to receive salvation.
Jesus did it all on the cross, His words, "It is finished", is our evidence.

The sculpture at the United Nations is a statue of a woman riding a horse, not a "white horse." It is a bronze monument called Peace, gifted to the UN by Yugoslavia. The monument is located on the North Lawn of the UN Headquarters in New York.

Crazy Thought

Perhaps this man who will become the antichrist lives and works in Israel in Netanyahu administration and makes a covenant with many ( United Nations )

Both sides have rejected a two-state solution. They could live peacefully and stop killing each other. They just won't do it

I always thought the antichrist will come out of Europe. The EU's elections are in 2029 so maybe the antichrist comes from that group.

Officials can be re-elected whether consecutive terms of duty or from non-consecutive ones. So there may be some people who don't have to leave or have come back because they were voted in again. And of course some new ones. I look forward to seeing who they are come 2029.

Israel is not a member of EU, but is considered an associate state that can participate in some of the EU's programs such as the Framework Programme for Research and Technical Development. Because Israel is more similar to Europe in matters of culture, economics, and politics, rather than the nations surrounding it, the ties to Europe are quite strong.

With that said, I can easily see a European coming out of the EU as antichrist who will confirm a covenant with many, including Israel.

Belgium will join Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom in recognizing a Palestinian state at the U.N. General Assembly next week, the country’s foreign minister announced Tuesday.

Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot posted Tuesday on X that Belgium would recognize a Palestinian state in response to the violence committed by Israel in Gaza, which he said is in “violation of international law.”

Israeli moves to annex parts of the occupied West Bank are a “red line” for the United Arab Emirates, one of the few Arab countries to recognise Israel, a senior official has said.

Annexation in the West Bank would “severely undermine” the Abraham Accords that established ties in 2020, said Lana Nusseibeh, the foreign ministry’s assistant minister for political affairs.

Last month, Israel approved a major settlement project just east of Jerusalem that the international community has warned threatens the viability of future Palestinian statehood.

And on Wednesday, Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for annexation of swathes of the West Bank, after Belgium became the latest country to announce it would recognise Palestine as a state.

“From the very beginning, we viewed the Accords as a way to enable our continued support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate aspiration for an independent state,” Nusseibeh said in a statement sent to AFP.

The proposals to annex parts of the West Bank, reportedly under discussion in the Israeli government, is part of an effort that would, in the words of an Israeli minister, ‘bury the idea of a Palestinian state’,” Nusseibeh added.

The UAE, Bahrain and Morocco recognised Israel under the Abraham Accords during US President Donald Trump’s first term in office, bucking the Arab consensus that there should be no ties without a Palestinian state.

“Annexation in the West Bank would constitute a red line for the UAE,” Nusseibeh said.

“It would severely undermine the vision and spirit of [the] Accords, end the pursuit of regional integration and would alter the widely shared consensus on what the trajectory of this conflict should be – two states living side by side in peace, prosperity and security.”

ROME — Pope Leo XIV and his top diplomats told Israel’s president Thursday that a two-state solution was the “only way out of the war,” as the Vatican called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages and entry of humanitarian aid to famine-stricken Palestinians there.

The Vatican issued an unusually detailed statement following Leo’s meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who also met with the Vatican secretary of state Cardinal Pietro Parolin and foreign minister, Archbishop Paul Gallagher. Herzog, for his part, said he had asked Leo to meet with families of the hostages, and called for intensified international efforts to secure their release.

Finland announced on Friday that it will join the New York Declaration on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian question and the implementation of a two-state solution, a joint initiative led by France and Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said the initiative represents “the most significant international effort in years to create the conditions for a two-state solution,” adding that it aligns with Finland’s foreign and security policy unanimously adopted by Parliament.

The framework, signed by a growing number of European and Arab states, outlines measures to end the war in Gaza and pave the way for Palestinian self-determination. Key provisions include the removal and disarmament of Hamas, reforms within the Palestinian Authority, guarantees for the security of both Israelis and Palestinians, and the normalization of regional relations.

According to Valtonen, the accord is historic as it marks the first time Arab states, through the Arab League, have collectively pledged support for Israel’s security while demanding the disarmament of Hamas and the transfer of authority in Gaza. It condemns Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack as well as Israeli strikes on civilians, calls for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages, and urges unimpeded humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza.

The document further requires Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, the launch of an Arab-led reconstruction plan, and the establishment of an international stabilization mission to support Palestinian governance and monitor a ceasefire.

The Palestinian territories have been in a state of political limbo for decades, and Palestinians’ desire for independence and international recognition remains deeply contentious. Since Israel declared its independence in 1948, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have been at the center of recurring conflict with Israel over competing claims about borders and Palestinian sovereignty.

As the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues, several countries—Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom (UK)—have signaled their intention to recognize Palestinian statehood at the annual UN General Assembly (UNGA) later this month. Here’s what this would mean for the region and how it could affect international order and diplomacy in the ongoing war.

The 22nd is the date of the vote as I understand it, if/when it results in a 2 state vote, will that be the fulfillment of "sudden destruction" to come upon them?

Don't be shocked if we see a two-state solution this month
That's literally why they're at war because neither side will accept a 2 state solution

It's like you know what, we could just stay over here and you could just stay over there and we can stop killing each other.

Both sides.... No that's crazy we're not doing that

There is no single vote on the two-state solution in September 2025; instead, several developments are occurring, including a High-Level Conference on the Two-State Solution resuming on September 22nd and the annual UN General Assembly high-level session where countries like Malta, France, Canada, the UK, and others are expected to announce their formal recognition of the State of Palestine.

These actions aim to advance the two-state solution, which envisions a future where Israel and Palestine exist as independent states side-by-side.

Dubai, SANA – The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned recent remarks by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he advocated for the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza Strip.
UAE described the remarks as a dangerous extension of occupation policies and a blatant violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

In an official statement, UAE reiterated its unequivocal rejection of all attempts to undermine or liquidate the Palestinian cause.
It emphasized that safeguarding the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people is not a political option, but a moral, humanitarian, and legal obligation.

Netanyahu made the controversial comments during an interview on an Israeli Telegram channel last Thursday, claiming that “there are various plans for rebuilding Gaza” and that “half of the population wants to leave.”

He suggested that the Rafah crossing could be opened to facilitate their departure, but alleged that Egypt would immediately close it.
He also asserted that “the right to leave Gaza is fundamental for every Palestinian.”

Israel should take back Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) which are rightfully hers. But I saw video of a bunch of Jewish guys and they really don't have much faith in God. They're trying to come up with solutions like have 82% control of West Bank and allow 5 cities to be Arab/Palestinian. NO, take back 100% of the West Bank like God said and not divide the land!
