One of the key questions in order to understand christianity is the concept of afterlife. What will happen to us after death?

On these matters, christians disagree. Some christians claim that salvation is freely given to all people and that everyone will be saved in the end. Other christians claim that hell exists with eternal punishment, and that the only way to avoid this suffering is to be a christian and believe in Jesus. Yet other christians have a somewhat milder position; that the non-believers are not facing eternal punishment, but simply cease to exist.

I've even spoken with christians that do not believe in an afterlife at all.

This diversity of opinions might be confusing. What to believe ?

It’s a tough one , not gonna lie.
For example you yourself have bought all the leftist propagandas. I can tell this by the way you speak, but, and this is important, through your journey in life you may gain wisdom through experience and one day you may drop your programming that you have received from the left and this will allow you to make the best decisions for yourself without being influenced by ideologies and interpretations.
Same thing applies here in your question.
You will know how to forgive and most importantly you will know what rest in God means after you truly seek the answers of all existential and origin questions for which we will never have a clear answer and that’s where you will have to make a choice.
Cheers.

The rest of what you write gives no meaning to me and certainly is no answer to the topic. So you are completely off-topic.

You are wrong. I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself. Try again.

This is what makes you leftists more enjoyable.
When you don’t know yourself what you are.
Man, at least if you become a Tier 5 leftist you might even have some passion about the things you might hate cos now you sound like you’re in elementary school with your comments.

Nope.
I’m very much on-topic.
The fact that you don’t understand it is not my problem but it is enjoyable for a good laugh.

if someone who calls himself a Christian believes EVERYONE will be saved in the end, that person is not a Christian. the Bible could not be any clearer on this issue. learn verses Hebrews 11:6, 1st John 5:10 & John 3:36,. there are more verses bon this also. your 3rd sentence is true. "do not believe in after life at all" ? totally wrong for a born again Christian. b.aq. Christians have eternal life with God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit: 1st John 5:13!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing happens apart from Gods will, and it's written that there are vessels appointed to wrath and disobedience.
But It's impossible that God is lying when he says that satan, death, hell, and everyone else who loves unrighteousness will be thrown into the lake of fire.
It's also written that angels will be judged unless they beleive in the atonement of Christ, and God finds unrighteousness even in them.

It's a tough nut to crack for a man who really thinks about it, but It boils down to the fact that you simply can't rely on any part of yourself to be saved, and must rely on Gods' mercy. There's a good reason why Jesus says we won't see heaven unless we hate ourselves, and renounce our lives.

Please keep to the topic of this thread, and not attacking persons attaining the discussion. Your behaviour hereafter will show if you are adult enough to do a serious discussion, which means keeping yourself close to the topic. I'm a bit sceptical to your adultness here, but I will give you a chance.

So, it is up to you to decide who is a christian or not a christian? Can you specify which personal abilities you have, that make you competent to do such decisions ?

This is another thing that teach you drones at the factory.

“ Don’t speak about the person but about the topic”

But WHO is speaking about the topic? Nobody?
Nope, it’s YOU who’s speaking about the topic and it sounds like you’re clueless about the topic.

This teaching is hardly engraved into even more sophisticated leftists like yourself but nobody understands the simple fact that when you don’t know much about the topic, the topic has no more meaning.

But tell me another story from your 1st grade.

Ceph; I appreciate that you admit that these matters are somewhat ... complicated. Thank you for your answer.

up to me? where are you getting that from? holy heavens! can't you read & understand properly? read it again. read what i posted. we'e not talking about who's who that decides who is a Christian. if you are a Christian, you should discern the same thing i am discerning. those verses are from Jesus, not from me! i apologize if you think i'm angry. i am. i'm tired of this nonsense where people misunderstand what someone posts when it's easy to understand without reading between the lines, as the expression goes. there's nothing difficult about this subject.

Obviously, these are probably not Christians that you have spoken to. If there is no after-life what is the point to attempt to obey God's law? I would eat, drink and be merry 'cause tomorrow I die. That's after I pay my taxes though.
