I've seen one or two where someone suitable will come by 5 or even 10 years after the fact, and post a reply. Perhaps it depends on the patience of the OP?
People on the prowl for a mate don't seem to stay any one place for long. If they don't get a bite in a short time, they move on.
1 or 2 people waiting up to 10 years is not a strong enough argument, I believe. That's more like even a broken watch is right twice a day. It may happen but can't he counted on.
I've been here since 2011, and while I wasn't openly prowling, I did hope to meet someone (though that wasn't my main reason for being here, either). All these years later I'm still unmarried.
It gets depressing when you realize that therer are 7 billion people on earth and no one wants anything to do with you.
I've definitely felt that way before. But my current situation is, I found one, but we can't ever be together in person. Which is a different kind of depressing. But neither feel good.
