John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word is with God, and the Word was God." I feel fairly confident the word of God is written in the Bible, and I recognize my savior Jesus Christ as the Word, my question is is DNA also the word of God? God's words in the Bible seem to be linear sequences of letters. God's Word as Christ is His spoken Word, and DNA is a linear sequence of nucleotides that could be spoken as in the formation of Christ. We being in the image of God can we have the DNA first spoken with us as well? Thank You Jesus and Thank you Christian Chatters for all your help.

DNA is obviously created by God. Although it has gotten weaker as would happen if you make a copy of a copy of a copy, etc. Also fallen angels breading with daughters of man and messed up the DNA. Also the sins of man which causes diseases such as aides for example passed down and often innocent babies.

The breath of God continues to this day as God breathed in Adam making him living... which is pretty crazy.

The "word of God" is spiritual. Words are spiritual. That's why we talk and animals do not. Not the same way as people communicate. So when you speak remember it's spiritual. Yikes.

I was also wondering if the Holy Ghost could be the very ordering mechanism of DNA as used by God.

Check the blogs and you'll see mine that talks about the Word of God being encoded in our DNA.I also have more to add.I'm just not sure where to continue.A lot of people didn't like what I had to say and claimed it was unbiblical,or that I've made it up all on my own.Which is crazy since all of what I talk about connect together perfectly that no imagination could have done so on their own.

I also believe that a lot of this was at one time or still is "hidden" knowledge but twisted in a way to lead away from life given on the cross.
All these truths God revealed to me cause I wanted to see him in his creations.

While this subject matter maybe seen as a curiosity, I would caution on spending ones time discussing issues that are not specifically revealed in the Scriptures. DO NOT mix science with spiritual things and DO NOT mix what comes from man with the things of God.

If God wanted us to know for certain, on such as your subject, He would have revealed it to us.

"Fools rush in where angels fear to tread" is a well-known proverb that originates from Alexander Pope's 1711 poem An Essay on Criticism

I would not complicate things.

The image of God is an innocent nature in flesh.

The word of God is Him revealing Himself by words written down.

The Word of God is Him revealing Himself by a visible image Jesus.

Matthew 7:7-8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

There's some people that want God to spell it out plainly for them to believe.God/Jesus does reveal mysteries like the subject of the thread and scripture will testify to it.
But no matter how much scripture you share to testify a mystery as truth, there's people who will toss anything you say aside because they don't seek it.Otherwise that will take time and effort.
Think of it like how there's a debate on scripture and one writes a wall of text/scripture to support their take.Even if the scripture supports that persons take and they highlight it,some people will disregard the text and stick to what they "know."
They don't want to seek it.They don't want to read that stuff to what they already "know."
To that person who sent the wall of text it will speak plainly and it bewilders that person that others can't see it the way they do based on scripture.
If there's a mystery and you seek it then God will reveal it.He revealed things about this subject to me because I went seeking for it.
I was thinking about God for days and decided if God is in all things then where is he?I asked him "if I look out the window, where are you God?"
He revealed it.I saw him in his creations because based on scripture I knew what to look for.He never once even in the flesh spoken about things I've asked about plainly. He always wanted me to search for it and when I did it was "seen" as plain as day.

If you haven't listened to him, you might enjoy Professor John Lennox. He's mainly a mathematician but touches on sciences including DNA, which as I recall he says is the longest word we know of. Math is a language, and some say we can't think beyond our vocabulary. When we stretch vocabulary, we are searching to explain meaning.

Original DNA, was Adam the first, then the fall happened and original DNA was obscured, Fast forward the Angelic conflict, those that left their normal habitat and took on women, having children brought in Nephilim
Then these destroyed in the flood of Noah's time, yet not all destroyed, there was still Nephilim blood in the wife's of the Son's of Noah. it was in their DNA, so see Genesis 6
However, Christ came here to earth and did everything perfect in love to all to restore us all to God Father through is done work in his risen life for us all that is done John 19:30, Hebrews 10:10, made perfect though Son as if never sinned Col 1:21-23 amazing!
Ready to transform anyone who chooses to believe Jesus is risen, and be given new life from Father in them. to start the new life given them in. love to us all, restored The Original DNA of Adam the first before he ate, done in the second Adam, Jesus to stand in and not deviate from belief, it is finished for us to believe and learn new as we go through things here one earth first. Impatience is here on earth, no impatience with Father and Son in Heaven waiting patiently for each to believe God personally also
Once one anyone does this between God and themselves, see truth and are free from all worries, even though those try to enter thee still, will not, cannot, not in truth being born new by God alone thank you
Love from God is to us all y'all

I have heard John Lennox and he is great! I have heard him talking about DNA as the longest word. Thank you for the advice!

I believe the DNA of God is maintained in Christ Jesus. Jesus was begotten of the Father, we do not have Gods DNA. But we will do when God has finished sending everyone to their places. Heaven and hell.

Matt 11: 27 All things are delivered unto me by my Father, and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, except the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. God has always existed and has no beginning. He is everywhere at once, transcends time, knows everything including past, present, and future, can create out of nothing, is all powerful, knows what everyone is thinking and feeling, and is Himself a thinking and feeling being. This can only happen if our reality is in the mind of God. A God that has always existed must have and is creating many different realities, and ours is one of many. In our reality, God put a thinking and feeling being in it, and called him His Son. That is when time in our reality began. In a vacuum with nothing in it and nothing happening, there is no time. As soon as the event of His Son coming into existence happened, there now was a before, present, and after the event. Isaiah 43: 10-11 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he; before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even (that is) I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no savior. The Lord speaking must be the Son because there was no "before me" with God the Father. God the Father interacts with our reality through His Holy Spirit, which in Isaiah 63: 9-10 explains the Holy Spirit as the "angel of His presence". Angel because it can be sent, and where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is. The Father fills His first and only begotten Son with His Holy Spirit, which means that the Father is residing in the Son's being. The Son loves the Father and shows his love through obedience and acceptance even though his will might differ. The Father loves the Son and shows His love by creating our reality and making him Lord of all creation. The Son, filled with the Father's presence and power in the Holy Spirit, creates our reality with all things created. The Son is One with the Father because the Father's presence and power (Holy Spirit) is in the Son and the Son obeys. We will become One with the Father and Son when we receive the Holy Spirit which acts as a portal through which both Father and Son can enter our being, and we obey. The visible God (Jesus Christ) in our reality is the image of the invisible God (the Father). Col 1: 14-17 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even (that is) the forgiveness of sins; Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers--all things were created by him, and for him; And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. The Father-Son relationship occurs twice: first, before creation and second, when the Son became a human. Heb 1 :5-7 For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again , I will be to him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son? And again, when He bringeth in the first-begotteen into the world, He saith, " And let all the angels of God worship Him. And of the angels He saith , Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire. When Christ became a man, the Spirit of God the Father, through which Mary's seed was fertilized, again resulted in Christ being born but this time as a human. The Father and Son relationship occurs a second time. Simply put, Jesus Christ is our Lord and our God because we are members of his spiritual body and are connected to him by the portal called the Holy Spirit, but the Father is the Lord and God of all, including Jesus, because the Father resides in Jesus and Jesus resides in us. This is the mystery explained by Paul in Col 1: 25-27 Of which I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, Even (that is) the mystery which hath been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints, To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (the Holy Spirit). In John 17: 3, Jesus is praying to the Father and speaks of himself in the third person and says, " And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Those that receive eternal life know who the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are and how they are related to each other. My mission in life is to do the Father's will and spread this knowledge. Life eternal involves a true understanding which only comes from God through the Holy Spirit.

If I sought out something and God reveals it to me how does one know if it is meant to be kept secret or shouted from rooftops? When I think I have discovered truths from God I get excited and my first reaction is to try to tell others about it. Thank You and God Bless You!

I get excited about it too and have to share lol.The people in my life never understood the things I used to share with them so I stopped. There's no point in talking about spiritual things to non christians and it's pretty much the same with the Sunday church people. The ones who think going to church on Sunday is sufficient to get them through the week.
Least here if there at least one who sees what I see then I'm glad to have shared it.The greater message is repentance.

I am curious. I have always really liked science why should I not mix science and religion? I have always felt science as a way to discover truth about reality and that would lead to a deeper understanding of God. Your help is appreciated and God bless you!

Thankyou for your reply and question. Why should we not mix science with the things of God? Let's see if we can tackle that one together.

First, there is a place for the sciences, after all, God gave man a mind to be used and science applied in the right ways can accomplish many great things; used incorrectly, it can corrupt many great truths.

What do I mean by incorrectly? Just this. Science has some governing rules: 1) A Hypothesis. A human advanced idea that can be tested to explain observed phenonium. Credibility rating - Low. 2) A Theory. A human advanced explanation that has been tested several times and is often used to project how something will act or react. Credibility rating - Medium. 3) A Law. An idea that has been proven out time and time again to be factually accurate. Credibility rating - High. (All credibility ratings are assigned on the basis of human understanding and can be proven wrong by God and His infinite power and wisdom.)

Sadly, mankind has a habit of not developing true ideas based on the empirical data but rather often advances theories to support a particular position and therefore, refuses data that might alter or dismiss a long standing theory. A great example of this, is the Big Bang Theory. The most recent data and photographs of deep space, have shown that the Universe is not behaving as predicted in this theory. However, rather than discard the theory and start anew, they are attempting to stick a round peg in a square hole and refuse to give it up.

Follow this scientific theory and you will have to give up the first 2 Chapters of Genesis. The Big Bang and Biblical Creation cannot coexist. Either God has always existed and is the "uncaused cause" or the Universe has always existed and is not the "effect" of God's "cause". A God created Universe is denied by science.

The same could be said for the Evolutionary Theory. (Which has never been proven to be accurate and should make one wonder why it is called a theory, since it has never been tested or proven.). In Darwin's later years, he regretted the mess it caused. Again, follow the science and you must reject the inerrancy of God's Holy Word. God created man not some primordial ooze.

I think you can see now where I am heading with this. One has two choices.. believe God or believe science and only one of them is correct. 1Co_1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

How would science explain these two events from the Bible?

Jos 10:12-14 Then spoke Joshua to Jehovah in the day when Jehovah delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel; and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; And thou, Moon, in the valley of Aijalon. (13) And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, Until the nation had avenged themselves of their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stayed in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. (14) And there was no day like that before it or after it, that Jehovah hearkened unto the voice of a man: for Jehovah fought for Israel.

2Ki 20:9-11 And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps? (10) And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps. (11) And Isaiah the prophet cried unto Jehovah; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz. (If you are not familiar, "Ahaz" was a sundial).

A quote from Christiananswers.net:
What really happened on these special days? As with all miracles, it is futile to speculate with scientific theories. The details are unclear, but we know that God could have refracted the light, or slowed the Earth’s rotation, or stopped the entire universe—all with equal ease! To this, I say, Amen.

So these are only a few examples of how science can confuse a young believer with their worldly foolishness. Give no quarter to human knowledge and earnestly seek the truth from God's Word. The men of science are in darkness and their truth is only subjective. God is light and the revealer of all objective truth by which all subjective truth is tested.

A couple additional thoughts about whom Jesus Christ is:

Acts 17:28a for in him we live, and move, and have our being
Col 1:16 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
Col 1:17 and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

Think long and hard about that last point, please. In Christ all things consist. They not only have their existence but are sustained micro-second by micro-second by Him. Take away His sustaining grace and the whole Universe would wink out of existence. This is the OBJECTIVE TRUTH of God - not science.

Acts 17:28a for in him we live, and move, and have our being
Col 1:16 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
Col 1:17 and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

Think long and hard about that last point, please. In Christ all things consist. They not only have their existence but are sustained micro-second by micro-second by Him. Take away His sustaining grace and the whole Universe would wink out of existence. This is the OBJECTIVE TRUTH of God - not science.

Thank you for your answer. You have given me much to think about.
