faith in washings and fake tongues certainly doesn't.

but if you believed what the scripture says, you would know that faith in the Son of God certainly does.

John 6:47
Amen Amen,
I tell you,
the one who believes
has eternal life.
Your one shaking grond.

Matthew 12:31-32
King James Version
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

born of water is physical birth.
born of Spirit is faith.

why is there a requirement of physical existence to enter the spiritual kingdom?
Why did JESUS use the word REBORN?

If you was not born naturaly you could not be REBORN.

If you was not born naturaly you could not READ HIS WORD.

If you was not born naturaly you could not REPENT OF YOUR SINS.

BEING BORN NATURALY IS HOW YOU GOT YOUR SINS.

John 3:6
King James Version
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 John 5:1
Wer da glaubt, dass Jesus sei der Christus, der ist von Gott geboren

I meant to say, "if you actually had.."

but my German isn't great lol am sure I have some mistakes in there

I can read it a little, but not compose it much (resulting from two semesters via the University of Maryland
while stationed one year in Germany in 1973).

It's about time, and yes, as I said, I will gladly answer your questions on your thread so you can insult me one more time.
Its not insulting you at all.

You are going against GOD'S word, I don't care if you insult me who cares what you think.

When you lie on HIS word you have two choices REPENT and get right with HIM or not.

I don't care if you answer my questions if don't repent those same lies all if good.

One would think you would be man enough to say your sorry but I'm not your maker.

i work with a lot of Germans and found it very advantageous to apply myself to learn - - even though they all speak passable English, why should i be lazy? it gives a good impression even if when we are speaking of technical things it's always in English.

((yes i spend hours and hours every week studying rather than expect God to supernaturally bless me with instant fluency, which, as we demonstrated today via @Ouch being completely incapable of proving he actually has the gifts he boasts of and demands of others to have, is not the norm))

the same is true of studying scripture.

it's often the refrain here to denigrate people going to seminary, saying, all you need is the Holy Ghost and, without ever having been educated themselves, make all kinds of claims about education being worthless and universities being corrupt and poisonous.

my understanding of scripture however is that we should be putting the work in, not sitting around idle - - - DESPITE the fact that God can bless us with supernatural abilities to do His work, and that He has completely saved us, even to the point that if we have only faith and do no works at all, He is still faithful.

all of this works/faith arguing always boils down to one thing: God alone saves. nothing we can do can merit eternal life or add one single speck to His unique work of redemption. we are entirely dependent on Him.

we do righteous works in reply to what He gave us, not to in any way whatsoever earn salvation.

"otherwise grace is a debt, not a gift"
