The Lord impressed upon me that the Super-Preppers with all their equipment and stockpiled supplies will not make them any better prepared than a man who Abides in Christ.

Not that I don't have a plan B because I do. But I am expending more towards cultivating my relationship with the Lord and expecting the rapture to happen. In fact, I feel like, it's been delayed! But who knows if I will be left behind or not? I might need to be prepared somewhat? If I am taken, then I have no use for the prep items, but left behind family and believers may have use of it.

I'm making a Rapture Help Box to leave for family in case I turn up missing.
All old church literature like My Daily Bread and all thoose sorts of things, and I bought a case of cheap Bibles because Bibles will be a Felony during the Great Trib. You wont be able to buy a bible! And I also am making a flash drive (2TB!!!) and have been copying Sermons and Messages from youtube and putting them on a flash drive so whoever finds it doesn't even need internet to view them. So far I think I must have somewhere between 300-500 videos so far. And I still have 1.8 TB left on it! I put the Book of Enoch on it, Jubilees, and the Gospel of Thomas.

Youtube made it so I can't for free anymore so at least I have some on there.

And I got a few guns and load my own ammo and stuff. Jesus said it's good to have a few swords even if you have to sell your cloak to buy your first one! But I don't need a huge 75 gun collection of the old days, lol. That was during Peace time! And as you have aptly pointed out, yes we're in the end times!

So if I have to go through it and am wrong, I'll be somewhat prepared and if I don't I don't, Praise the Lord.

I asked the Lord one time, what is the best way to prepare for things which will come? And His answer surprised me, I wasn't ready for that! He said, Cultivate being able to hear my still small voice within you. I want my people to be able to hear me and then to instantly obey.../

You're talking mostly about physically preparing for the great tribulation, but pre-tribbers aren't even doing that.

It's good that to have some sort of a post-trib plan B, but most pre-tribbers don't. This is why I tell them about having the post-trib plan B instead of wasting time debating with them about the rapture. There's just no time for that.

You're also surprised that the Lord told you to cultivate being able to hear Him and immediately obeying? That's what He's been in saying the Bible the whole time. If you missed that, imagine all the pre-tribbers who don't even spend time with the Lord in Bible study and prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 Now as to the periods and [a]times, brothers and sisters, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord(wrath) is coming just like a thief in the night. 3While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness, so that the day would overtake you [c]like a thief; 5for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 6so then, let’s not sleep as [d]others do, but let’s be alert and [e]sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we are of the day, let’s be [f]sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. 11Therefore, [g]encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.

I know its a bit of a stretch, But can't we believe God has not destined His people unto ANY wrath from this?
If so, the true church won't go thru the tribulation.
I like the sound of that.:)

No, it surprised me as an answer to that specific question. I was expecting a different sort of answer!.

God does not destine His people to His wrath.

We won't avoid satan's wrath though. Just look at all of God's children that were martyred through out history and even now.

But if you want to harden your heart against God's word and not prepare for the great tribulation, be my guest. It's sooner than you think. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's four levels of relationship as far as I can tell. Servant, Friend, Child/Son, and Bride. A friend has more privilege's than a servant in the home, and a Son has even more than the friend and so forth. The Bride (or Mommy if you will) is even above the sons!

I believe that we choose how far we go in relationship for the first 3, servant, friend, son. And it is up to the Lord Himself who is fit to be His Bride, so He chooses that fourth level of relationship.

Since we want to be chosen for the rapture and not have to go through the great trib and be counted as approved, we strive to be as holy as possible, study His word daily, and pray unceasingly as much as possible, clinging to him in our failures and in anticipation of being found approved and in hope and faith. If we do this and obey Him, we are on the right track. He doesnt grade us on our performance, He looks at our heart, the intentions of our heart.

While we are walking with Him it is impossible to stain the garments. How cool would it be to be in Prayer to Him at the moment the Rapture happens?!

Now,, "If" you were to happen to be wrong and the rapture by some freak coincidence of irony the rapture was in fact pre trib, then how short is the time now? (All the more reason to discuss it!)

I might be wrong. It's happened before. I always like to double check myself with those of alternate viewpoints. So it would be very nice to go through the scriptures with you and your viewpoints. Tell me where I am wrong! I can take it!

Don't you like double-checking yourself too? Boy I do. I have always liked taking tests because it shows you where you are.

Me too Brother! And it is clearly the great tribulation as being that wrath. What is it? 6 or 7 bowls of wrath poured out onto the earth? The time of Jacob's trouble.

God knows there are no Atheists in foxholes so he said (sic), they asked for foxholes I will give them some. And His harvest will increase. Through great tribulation.

Who can tell me the purpose of the Great Tribulation?

Ok, I'll tell. To bring Israel to a saving knowledge of the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. The stiff-necked unbelievers. I think they all need forgiven.

In contrast, we have the Bride of Christ, the church. Scripture says she is unblemished and without spot or wrinkle. How much do you Brothers & Sisters figure that Jesus loves His Bride, the church?

The Lord loves His Bride enough to say, ok I'll let you get the crap beat out of you and then we'll go to dinner???? Is that the extent of Jesus love towards us? Certainly not. Make who is to be my wife experience the wrath of God? That's absurd in my book!

When she is betrothed she is set apart. She is NOT appointed to wrath. Jesus has a lot more heart than to make her go through wrath!

God's message about the rapture in the Bible is very simple.

There are no levels of relationship to qualify. Jesus will come to gather everyone who has the Holy Spirit as His seal of ownership over them, dead or alive. That is the ONLY criteria. :giggle:

Lord Jesus is SO loving to His bride that He's not going to go through with the wedding while some members of His bride are going through the great tribulation being persecuted and killed.

No, He SO loves His bride that He will wait until He has gathered ALL of the members of the church and that is only possible after the great tribulation to include all the people that get saved at that time.

Well, you've got until September 23rd or 24th to get Jesus to pick you up! :)

Do you choose if you are the Bride and will be raptured? Are you sealed? How do you know? His Bride may indeed be sealed, but it's still His choice?

Or is everyone the Bride? I'm a christian take me...? but if they dont have the seal they get left behind or condemned or both?

So in your first paragraph here, he delays the marriage supper of the Lamb to wait on those in Great Tribulation?

I'll stop by and pick you up raise you from the dead or whatever, and then we'll go to dinner and the reception? Ok, I see what you're saying. But I have the Parable of the 10 virgins coming to mind now and I wonder how do I reconcile that with the 10 virgins. 5 were taken, 5 left behind, and they wouldn't let the 5 in that weren't ready on time.

What do I do with that? When does He leave anyone behind if he does it the way you say?

Matthew 24:40-41
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.../KJV

If the rapture isn't before the grat trib, then it's all over by the time the rapture happens, right? So who gets left behind? And when? Matthew says some get left behind.

That's funny! Those people are wrong. Simple as that. Please don't try to group me in with them because, I know, no ones the day or hour. Personally, I believe that God will let Trump finish His term in office. (But I could be wrong). I don't set dates.

Go ahead and keep waiting past those two dates. Pre-tribbers get a chance to prove their theory first, right? You've got until the antichrist is revealed. :)

But would you give me your answer to my question about the parable of the 10 virgins?

You think the marriage ceremony and celebration occur during the great tribulation while some of the members of the Bride are in the great tribulation, right?

And then you think the parable of the 10 virgins are related somehow to the pre-trib rapture?

That's over-complicating things.

The Bible simply says Jesus will come AFTER the great tribulation. That removes all the complications you have come up with.

Well, one thing we're sure about is that the fallen away of the church IS going thru the tribulation because it's God's wrath for their backslidings.
As much as God has protected us from the world all of our lives, it doesn't make sense for God to send His sheep thru His wrath He's about to pour out on the goats. They deserve it, but because of Jesus' sacrifice for us, we are separated from it.
We may agree to disagree, but we are saved by Christ, & I don't think our Messiah died for us so we might backslide under God's wrath. :)

It's obvious that you refuse to believe what God's wrath is versus the wrath of satan and the world according to the Bible.

But that's okay. You'll eventually know - the hard way.... :)

I fail to see the danger in pre tribbers for watching for the Lord early?

We'll find out the hard way? What is the hard way? I asked before what is the danger and all you said is that when the antichrist comes onto the scene, that magically all of us pre tribbers go to him? You were so vague about that it defies explanation? But you really are not giving a good answer to that or any scriptures.

That's baffling to me.

It's all been debated before and it's just so boring. I don't even care if I don't give any good answer or post scripture. You'll just reply back with more boring stuff.

So go ahead and wait for your fabled pre-trib rapture all you want. Watching pre-tribbers waiting and waiting and waiting is more entertaining!:)

Wow what a change in you. Don't get so upset so early in the day, you wont have any left for the rest of the day.

So you find mocking and scoffing at your Brothers & Sisters in Christ because it's entertaining for you?

Are you sure that we worship the same God? That seems odd to me that you would respond like that.

Pre-tribbers are like Baal's prophets.

1 Kings 18:20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”

But the people said nothing.

22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.”

Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”

25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.

Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.

The same non-response the Baal prophets got is the same non-response that pre-tribbers will get. And that is because you all willfully ignore what the Bible says: No rapture until AFTER the great tribulation.
