I was just reading 1 Corinthians 3. Verses 1 through 4. Kind of goes to this thread as I see it.

For ye are yet carnal:for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not yet carnal, and walk.as men?
For while one saith, I am of Paul, and another, I am of apollos ; are ye not carnal?
That's certainly one reason.

1 Corinthians 11:19~ No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's approval.
:)

yes ... this thread is a perfect example of these verses ... sad to say because there are born again believers and the dialogue could be much more spiritually stimulating than what we see ...

1 Peter 4:8-11 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

The emotional and "lottery winners for salvation" will say, "Hey don't believe that! The Lord Jesus Christ only died for me"
"Because God loves us and not anyone else. Rot in hell all of you who are born hopelessly blind faithless depraved sinners. And don't forget to give up all hope in seeking God's face. For this is impossible. As is understanding and receiving the gospel message and the savation offered by Christ, as it is limited in scope to us the pre-birth lottery elect and not anyone else."

And no I definitely do not agree with one word of the foregoing.

Well, the calvies most certainly challenge Gods Justice. Arguably, this is the quality/character of God that they most attack. Justice is salvation. Christ fulfilled God's Justice. And to say that salvation is anything less than equal opportunity and equal privilege is an attack on His perfect righteousness/justice.

They see God as very limited, and with only the few options that they see as viable if they were God.

All men are "totally depraved" by nature. But that doesn't mean that God leaves all men in that condition.

Then men can not be *totally* depraved to begin with.

If it were 'total?'
There would be NOTHING to save!

Because God chose to write the Bible in such a way as to require His help in understanding it.
See Proverbs 25:2.
Since when do pre-birth lottery winners need help? It's in the bag.

Same goes for the gospel message. They don't need that either. Evidently it is trivial commentary meant to terrorize the lottery losers letting them know what they are missing out on.

Why do you let me?

You can clear it up straight away......Oh right, I would be proved right.
Really? You asked me before how I shared the gospel and it was nothing like what you shared in your earlier post. So not only did you lie, but you did so knowing you were misrepresenting what others have said.
I can't keep you from lies and deliberate misrepresentations. I can point them out.

More deliberate misrepresentations. You guys really have no shame.

So fix it.

Obviously everyone on the freewill side can't make hide nor hair of what you actually believe.

1. Belief is a work. So we can't believe to be saved.

2 . None can believe to be saved. We are saved to believe.

Help us out? If you don't believe these 2 points........I have lied and apologize.

An honest, rational person would at least be correctable if he erred.
Since when is hatred/contemp for the lottery losers coupled with conceited self-aggrandizement rational?

I also notice a lot of smoldering dislike/distain for our elder brothers the nation Israel. Whom God loves with an eternal perfect love.

It is total; however, as a part of becoming saved/born again, God discards the old natural man within us in its entirety and replaces with the new man. God does it all, man does nothing.

[Eph 4:24 KJV] 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
[Col 3:10 KJV] 10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

[Heb 8:10-12 KJV]
10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Part of the game my friend part of the game. Frankly I wouldn't spend too much time trying to find out.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Galatians 5 verse 1 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. Romans 6 verse 18 Be careful, however, that your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. 1 Corinthians 8 verse 9 Live in freedom, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 1 Peter 2 verse 16 Though I am free of obligation to anyone, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 1 Corinthians 9 verse 19

I completely agree. It is getting out of hand as of late.......End times in the making.

Jesus said: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” (Matthew 23:13).
Yes ma'am. Bull's-eye.
