The Crow (2024) This remake doesn't have the best of reviews and I wasn't keen on the trailer, but out of curiosity I watched it anyway. I thought, I'll just watch a bit of it. Then was up late watching the entire thing. One reviewer said it's a mess, which is true. But, it was better than I expected.

I liked what Shelly says to Eric, "If I'm ever hard to love, love me harder."

Wrath of Man (2021) Entertaining revenge movie. A father's revenge for the death of his son.

"I can do in two weeks what you only wish you could do in twenty years."

Armageddon (1998)
Back in '98, I chose to go see Deep Impact. Both came out the same year. I didn't go see Armageddon and never bothered with it until now. Now, I wish I had gone to see it on the big screen.

This scene particularly touched me. A father and daughter saying goodbye.
Liv Tyler: "I lied to you too when I told you I didn't want to be like you, because I am like you. Everything good that I have inside me, I have from you. I love you so much..."
Bruce Willis: "I'll look in on you from time to time. Okay? I love you. Gotta go now, honey."

I'm reminded of what my own father told me before he passed, ""I don't have much longer. I love you, dearie. Forever." 😢

Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) I liked that the first 20ish minutes of this one was set in the 60s. I thought that was a nice touch. The rest of the movie was similar to the previous five Final Destinations, not that that is a bad thing.

Also, RIP Tony Todd. This was your Final Destination.

I got to spend more time in the word.
Doing wayyy too many works lately and not enough time in God’s presence.

Yes, I watch my church’s sermon and when ever they have a midweek, I’m watching that but I don’t spend enough time in his word.

Yes, I listen to the Bible almost daily on audio but the last time I read a book of the Bible was Hosea about a week ago.

I usually read when I feel called to read but I mostly listen and that is where I lack in this walk with Christ.

Sinners (2025) An interesting movie set in 1932. It had some nice blues in it.

Elevation (2024) Not a bad monster action movie. The action could have been amped up some more, but for what it is it's not too bad.

NUY3ARZ Twisted Metal Season 2 Finale

Wow, this season is already over. It just started a month ago. They were dropping 2 and 3 episodes a week. What happened to tv shows? I remember the days when we spent from fall to spring with a show. For example, Xfiles would start in the fall and end sometime in May, therefor you had months of mutants and aliens.
Maybe I'm just an old fogy
Well, anyway, this season was a wild ride and I'll definitely be tuning into the next one if/when they make a third one. In the meantime, I've got my eye on Tulsa King's new season coming in 3 weeks. It's supposed to last 2 months 😂
