After looking at the verse you shared I think I see the problem.

When JESUS told HIS disciples he will make them fishers of men he didn't mean go fishing in HIS word to circumvent HIS word.

HIS word is like a big puzzle that when we read it ALL of the peices have a place and they have to go together.

YOU THINK all you need to do is believe in JESUS and that faith gets rid of your sins is that correct?
What did Jesus say in John 3:15,16,18; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26? What did Peter say in Acts 10:43? What did Paul say in Acts 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 26:18? Do you understand what it means to believe in Jesus unto salvation?

If so, you think just a thought gets rid of your sins.
Believing in Jesus for salvation is not simply a thought rolling around in your head. Saving belief in Jesus involves faith, trust and reliance in Jesus for salvation.

We didn't even speak of receiveing the Holy Ghost.
See (John 7:37-39; Acts 11:17; 15:7-9; Ephesians 1:13).

When JESUS says this in John 3:5?

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

He says we need TWO things to ENTER at just a thought wans't one of them.

Do you think JUST beleiving in HIM or beleive EVERYTHING he says?

Do you think JUST faith in HIM or faith in what HE says?

What do you think being born of water and of spirit means?
Believing in Him unto salvation is trusting in His finished work of redemption as the all sufficient means of our salvation. Don't confuse what Jesus says to unbelievers in order for them to become saved with what Jesus says to believers after they have been saved. An error here may culminate in salvation by works.

In regard to born of water and of Spirit in John 3:5, elsewhere Jesus mentions "living water" in John 4:10, 14; 7:37-39 and in John 7:38-39, we read - "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the source of living water and spiritual cleansing.

If "water" is defined as baptism, then we could just as justifiably say, "Out of his heart will flow rivers of living baptism" in John 7:38. If this sounds ridiculous, it is no more so than the idea that water baptism is the source or the means of becoming born again. So, to automatically read "baptism" into John 3:5 simply because it mentions "water" is unwarranted.

Yet "water" is also used in the Bible as an emblem of the word of God, and in such uses it is associated with cleansing or washing. (John 15:3; Ephesians 5:26)

When we are born again, the Holy Spirit begets new life, and we are said to become "partakers of the divine nature." (2 Peter 1:4) The new birth is brought to pass through "incorruptible seed, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever" (I Peter 1:23) and the Holy Spirit accomplishes the washing of regeneration. (Titus 3:5)

So my guess was right, also notice I don't make you go look for scripture I post it so there is no confusion and things are very clear.

No I don't understand what it means to believe in Jesus unto salvation because there it's not true, there is more to it!

WE ALL have sinned,
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

THESE TWO verses are VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

AND you believed" belief in Jesus involves faith, trust and reliance in Jesus for salvation" period.

As I said, when JESUS told HIS disciples he will make them fishers of men he didn't mean go fishing in HIS word to circumvent HIS word.

DON'T GET me wrong ALL of HIS word is true, but they all have to fit.

How did they become disciples?

They were with JESUS for 3 years during that time they were baptizing people why he watched them, JESUS told HIS disciples to wait DON'T GO out without a comforter this happened.

Acts 2:3-4
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

THIS is what Peter says happens when you receive the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

THIS is what Mark says happens when you receive the Holy Ghost.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

GOD is NOT the author of confusion.

Examples of how to be reborn are plastered all over the book of Acts but you will not accept them.

Look at
Acts 8, they heard the message was baptize in JESUS name but did NOT get the Holy Ghost. How did they know they didn't get it? Yep they didn't speak in tongues they send to Peter and John and days later when they came they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10, JESUS filled them with the Holy Ghost and was commanded to be baptized.

Acts 19, Paul asked (AND I ASK YOU) have you received the Holy Ghost since you have BELIEVED?
They said "NO" Paul asked HOW WERE YOU BAPTIZED?

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

I DID NOT SHARE MY OPPINON with you or tell you WHAT IT MEANS I LET HIS WORD DO THE TALKING.

To disagree with scripture I shared is not disagreeing with me, JESUS IS THE WORD you are disagreeing with HIM.

So my guess was right, also notice I don't make you go look for scripture I post it so there is no confusion and things are very clear.
It doesn't take much looking. The scriptures I post are in blue and when you point on them a box with that scripture appears so you can easily read it.

No I don't understand what it means to believe in Jesus unto salvation because there it's not true, there is more to it!
So, my quess was right. You don't understand what it means to believe in Jesus unto salvation. Instead, you believe in your baptism for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone.

WE ALL have sinned, Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Amen! Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

THESE TWO verses are VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
In Acts 2:38, "for the remission of sins" does not refer back to both clauses, "you all repent" and "each one of you be baptized," but refers only to the first. Peter is saying "repent unto the remission of your sins," the same as in Acts 3:19. The clause "each one of you be baptized" is parenthetical. This is exactly what Acts 3:19 teaches except that Peter omits the parenthesis.

*Also compare the fact that these Gentiles in Acts 10:45 received the gift of the Holy Spirit (compare with Acts 2:38 - the gift of the Holy Spirit) and this was BEFORE water baptism. (Acts 10:47) In Acts 10:43 we read ..whoever believes in Him receives remission of sins. Again, these Gentiles received the gift of the Holy Spirit - Acts 10:45 - when they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ - Acts 11:17 - (compare with Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved) BEFORE water baptism - Acts 10:47. This is referred to as repentance unto life - Acts 11:18.

*So, the only logical conclusion when properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is that faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18). *Perfect Harmony*

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Paul had already believed in Christ unto salvation when Ananias came to pray for him to receive his sight (Acts 9:17). It also should be noted that Paul at the time when Ananias prayed for him to receive his sight, he was filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:17)--this was BEFORE he was water baptized. (Acts 9:18) Verse 17 connects his being filled with the Spirit with the receiving of his sight. We know that he received his sight prior to his baptism. Jesus told Ananias that Paul "is a chosen vessel unto Me" (vs 15), although the apostle had not yet been water baptized. Before Paul was baptized, Christ had already commissioned him to "bear His name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel" (Acts 9:15) and such a commission is not for one who is still lost in their sins.

As Greek scholar AT Robertson points out that baptism here pictures the washing away of sins by the blood of Christ. The language in Acts 22:16 is similar to the statement of Christ when He took the bread and said, "This is my body." (Matthew 26:26) The bread was only the emblem of His body. Baptism is the emblem of the washing away of sins by the blood of Christ. Every time a believer is immersed, he washes away his sins in the same SENSE Paul did: not literally, but ceremonially, pointing to the blood of Christ by which sins are actually washed away. (1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5)

Excellent article on Acts 22:16 - Acts 22:16--Baptism Essential for Salvation?

AND you believed" belief in Jesus involves faith, trust and reliance in Jesus for salvation" period.
Saving belief in Jesus Christ does involve faith, trust and reliance in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, period. So, what happened to baptism in numerous passages of scripture with make it clear that man is saved through belief/faith "apart from additions or modifications?" (Luke 7:50; 8:12; John 1:12; 3:15,16,18,36; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26; Acts 10:43; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18; Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 4:5-6; 5:1-2; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 1:21; Galatians 2:16; 3:6-14, 26; Ephesians 2:8,9; Philippians 3:9; 2 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 10:39; 1 John 5:13 etc..).

Your belief, faith, trust and reliance are in water baptism for salvation and is not in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. What did Jesus say? John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

As I said, when JESUS told HIS disciples he will make them fishers of men he didn't mean go fishing in HIS word to circumvent HIS word.

DON'T GET me wrong ALL of HIS word is true, but they all have to fit.
You need to always read scripture in context and properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching your conclusion on doctrine. Otherwise, you will end up with contradictions and with false doctrine.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

GOD is NOT the author of confusion.
So, have you cast out demons; spoke with new tongues (keep reading in verse 18) have you taken up serpents and drink anything deadly and have not been hurt by it or laid hands on the sick and they recovered? In the beginning years of the church, casting out demons was a common miracle that identified the speaker as a follower of Jesus (Acts 5:16; 8:7; 19:12). In one case, Paul even cast out a demon for irritating him. (Acts 16:18) Those powers, along with the gifts of healing and other miracles, were more common in the early church age. As with many of God's prophets, He empowered them to perform miracles so that their words would be validated. With the finalization of the canon of scripture, we do not need miracles to affirm Jesus' words. God does still work directly in people's lives through miracles, but it's not as common place today.

Examples of how to be reborn are plastered all over the book of Acts but you will not accept them.
Apparently, you will not accept (Acts 3:19; 4:4; 5:14; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18) I strongly suspect that you are mixed up in some type of false religion or cult. Possibly Oneness Pentecostalism based on your obsession with water baptism and tongues.

Look at Acts 8, they heard the message was baptize in JESUS name but did NOT get the Holy Ghost. How did they know they didn't get it? Yep they didn't speak in tongues they send to Peter and John and days later when they came they received the Holy Ghost.
The delaying of receiving the Holy Spirit until the apostles laid hands on them in Acts 8 and 19 was the exception, not the rule. Believers were saved prior to receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit prior to Jesus being glorified. In John 7:38-39, we read - He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

The same can be said of these Samaritan believers in this unique situation in Acts 8. Receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit was delayed until the apostles laid their hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:17). Again, exception, not the rule (Acts 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 15:8,9; Ephesians 1:13). The Jews were hostile towards the Samaritans and the laying on of hands by the apostles would authenticate God's purpose and bring church unity.

They didn't have the indwelling Holy Spirit when Jesus spoke these words in John 3:16 prior to Him being glorified, yet these believers were still saved. The Samaritans believed and were baptized (Acts 8:12), but did not receive the indwelling Holy Spirit until the apostles laid hands on them (Acts 8:17), but were still saved when they believed, which is in harmony with (John 3:15,16,18; Acts 10:43; 13:39; 16:31 etc..).

Acts 10, JESUS filled them with the Holy Ghost and was commanded to be baptized.
These Gentiles believers had already believed, received the gift of the Holy Spirit and were saved before water baptism. (Acts 10:43-47)

In regard to Acts 19:2, Paul asked these disciples of John if they had received the Holy Spirit when they believed and their answer in verses 2-3 reveals that they had not yet believed in Christ unto salvation. They had not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit, and they received the baptism of John, but did not realize that Jesus Christ was the One to whom John's baptism pointed. Paul gave them instructions about Jesus and after they believed Paul's presentation of the gospel and came to saving belief in Christ, they were then baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Paul laid hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit, which is the exception, not the general rule.

I DID NOT SHARE MY OPPINON with you or tell you WHAT IT MEANS I LET HIS WORD DO THE TALKING.

To disagree with scripture I shared is not disagreeing with me, JESUS IS THE WORD you are disagreeing with HIM.
What you shared with me was your EISEGESIS which boils down to your OPINION. I am not disagreeing with Jesus. I am simply disagreeing with you.

WE ALL have sinned,
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Yes. the law exposes our sin, and points us to Christ.

It does not point us back to th elaw

THESE TWO verses are VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT.

So you believe God replaced the spiritual baptism with the baptism of men?

How did they become disciples?
God called them and one was the devil

as for today. For it is by grace we have been saved period..
GOD is NOT the author of confusion.

Examples of how to be reborn are plastered all over the book of Acts but you will not accept them.

Look at
Wow. so physical circumcision commanded in the OT could never save anyone

but some man immersing us in water does save us?

I DID NOT SHARE MY OPPINON with you or tell you WHAT IT MEANS I LET HIS WORD DO THE TALKING.

To disagree with scripture I shared is not disagreeing with me, JESUS IS THE WORD you are disagreeing with HIM.
But your not letting the word talk

Here is the gospel according to Jesus and paul

John 1: 11: 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12. But AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED HIM, to THEM he gave the right to become children, even TO THEM WHO BELIEVE 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (no works)

John 3, FOR God so loved the world he gave his only son that WHOEVER BELIEVES (trusts) in him will NEVER PERISH, and LIVE FOREVER (eternal life) for the son was not sent to judge, but that the world might be saved, he who BELIEVES is NOT CONDEMNED, he who does not believe is condemned already (no works)

John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will NEVER THIRST. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into EVERLASTING LIFE” (no works)

John 5: 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he whoever HEARS MY WORD and BELIEVES IN HIM WHO SENT ME who sent Me HAS ETERNAL LIFE and SHALL NOT COME INTO JUDGMENT but HAS PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE (No works)

John 6: 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. HE WHO COMES TO ME shall NEVER HUNGER and he who BELIEVES IN ME shall NEVER THIRST (NO WORKS)

John 6: 37: and THE ONE WHO COMES TO ME I WILL BY NO MEANS CAST OUT 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, thatof all He has given Me I SHAL LOSE NOTHING, but SHOULD RAISE IT UP ON THE LAST DAY. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that EVERYONE WHO SEES AND BELIEVES IN HIM MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE AND I WILL (NOT MIGHT) RAISE HIM ON THE LAST DAY (NO WORKS)

John 6: 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME HAS EVERLASTING LIFE. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that THAT ONE MAY EAT OF IT AND NOT DIE 51 am the living bread which came down from heaven. IF ANYONE EATS THIS BREAD HE WILL LIVE FOREVER (NO WORKS)

John 6: 63 It is the SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE ; the flesh profits nothing. THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK to you ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE (SIGNIFYING THE BREAD FROM HEAVEN, THE FLESH AND BOOD ARE THE WORDS JESUS SPOKE. NOT THE PHYSICAL FOOD OR WORKS,)

EPH 1: 13 In Him YOU ALSO TRUSTED , after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also ,HAVING BELIEVED YOU WERE SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE 14 who IS THE GAURANTEE OF OUR INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

THE INHERITANCE HE SAID WE ALREADY HAD IN THE 1ST 12 VERSES. (AGAIN, NO WORKS)

eph 2: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses,MADE US ALIVE together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and RAISED US UP TOGETHER , and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED (A COMPLETED ACTION) THROUGH FAITH , (AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED) and that NOT OF YOURSELVES ; it IS THE GIFT OF GOD, 9 NOT OF WORKS LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST (NO WORKS)

rom 4: 3 For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD AND HE ACOUNTED IT TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” 4 Now TO HIM WHO WORKS, THE WAGES ARE NOT COUNTED AS GRACE BUT DEBT (Works cancels out grace. and makes it a wage) 5 But TO HIM WHO DOES NOT WORK but BELIEVES ON HIM WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGOLDY , his HIS FAITH IS ACCOUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS (AGAIN NO WORKS. PERIOD)

rom 4: 16 Therefore IT IF OF FAITH THAT IT MAY BE ACCORDING TO GRACE , so that THE PROMISE MAY BE SURE TO ALL THE SEED not only to those who are of the law, but also TO THOSE WHO ARE OF THE FAITH OF ABRAHAM , who is the father of us all (AGAIN, NO WORKS, IT IS OF GRACE THROUGH FAITH)

Rom 4: 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but ALSO FOR US, IT SHALL BE IMPUTED TO US WHO BELIEVE IN HIM WHO RAISED UP JESUS OUR LORD FROM THE DEAD , 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was RAISED BECAUSE OF OUR JUSTIFICATION (AGAIN NO WORKS)

Rom 11: 6 And IF BY GRACE, THAN IT IS NO LONGER OF WORKS, ; otherwise GRACE IS NO LONGER GRACE.But IF IT IS OF WORKS, THEN IT IS NO LONGER OF GRACE. OTHERWISE WORK IS NO LONGER WORK (AS i HAVE SAID NUMEROUS TIME, GRACE + WORKS = WORKS.. GRACE AND WORKS CAN NOT MIX IN THE AREA OF SALVATION. ITS LIKE MIXING OIL AND WATER)

2 Tim 1: 9 who HAS SAVED US (A COMPLETED ACTION) and called us with a holy calling, NOT ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS , but ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE which was GIVEN TO US in Christ Jesus BEFORE TIME BEGAN (AGAIN, NO WORKS. BUT GRACE)

Titus 3: 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (GOOD DEEDS) WHICH WE HAVE DONE , but ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that HAVING BEEN JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE we should become HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE
(AGAIN, NO QUESTION HERE. PAUL LEAVES NO QUESTION. NO GOOD DEED CAN SAVE US,. WE ARE SAVED BY GODS MERCY, AND GIVEN THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. WHICH IS PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN

Titus 1: 2 in HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE which GOD WHO CAN NOT LIE PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN

this is what our faith is in, the grace and mercy of God. not our deeds.

Can you show me where baptism in water is required?

So, have you cast out demons; spoke with new tongues (keep reading in verse 18) have you taken up serpents and drink anything deadly and have not been hurt by it or laid hands on the sick and they recovered? In the beginning years of the church, casting out demons was a common miracle that identified the speaker as a follower of Jesus (Acts 5:16; 8:7; 19:12). In one case, Paul even cast out a demon for irritating him. (Acts 16:18) Those powers, along with the gifts of healing and other miracles, were more common in the early church age.

These Gentiles believers had already believed, received the gift of the Holy Spirit and were saved before water baptism. (Acts 10:43-47)

What you shared with me was your EISEGESIS which boils down to your OPINION. I am not disagreeing with Jesus. I am simply disagreeing with you.
what is it with people trying to insert their self righteous deeds and thinking god will forgive sin if they do this deed?

What is you spin on this when those who was responsible for putting JESUS on the cross did?

Acts 2:37-39
King James Version
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Why didn't Peter say IN 38 your good to go instead telling them what THEY MUST DO TO BE SAVED?

I bet according to you they were saved in verse 39 WHY would Peter tell them this in 41 Save yourselves from this untoward generation?

Verse 41 IS SOMETHING YOU DON'T DO BUT THEY DID and they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

So what is your twist on that?

So the cross is not enough?

Yes. the law exposes our sin, and points us to Christ.

It does not point us back to th elaw

So you believe God replaced the spiritual baptism with the baptism of men?

God called them and one was the devil

as for today. For it is by grace we have been saved period..

Wow. so physical circumcision commanded in the OT could never save anyone

but some man immersing us in water does save us?

We are saved by grace, you are right being baptized in JESUS name does not save you it is just a part of what we are told to do.

NO THE CROSS WAS NOT ENOUGH, how many people died on the cross what seperated JESUS from the others was HE ROSE, HIS DIING AND RISING AND ACCENDING TO HEAVEN TO PUT HIS BLOOD ON THE MERCY SEAT WAS ENOUGHT.

Since GOD is the one who established being baptized in JESUS name to remove our sin being baptized IS NOT OF MEN.

Believe, repent, get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins and we still need JESUS to fill us with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

So lets keep it simple if JESUS said in John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Tell me what is your problem with Acts 2:38-39 since it says almost the same thing as John 3:5?

Since we are born in sin,
And keep it simple how do we get born of water and of spirit?

No spin. I simply interpreted Acts 2:38 in context and properly harmonized scripture with scripture before reaching my conclusion on doctrine. In regard to Acts 2:41, those who gladly received his word (upon repentance/faith) were "afterwards" baptized, which is in harmony with (Acts 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18). Water baptism was not the cause of the three thousand being added to them.

In Acts 4:4, we read - However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand. In Acts 5:14, we read - And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women. *What happened to baptism

In Acts 2:41, save yourselves from this untoward generation does not mean save yourself by water baptism.

In Acts 16:30, we read - And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” *What happened to baptism in verse 31? *Hermeneutics.

So, as I previously stated, the only logical conclusion when properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is that faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18). *Perfect Harmony*

what is it with people trying to insert their self righteous deeds and thinking god will forgive sin if they do this deed?
self righteous??
No spin. I simply interpreted Acts 2:38 in context and properly harmonized scripture with scripture before reaching my conclusion on doctrine. I replace the word TWIST to "properly harmonized"

You say
"Water baptism was not the cause of the three thousand being added to them."

How about we just stick to those few veses to see what they say instead of properly harmonizing as you call it.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The message was given, they were told what they were to do, they obeyed and three thousand being added.

I say the reason those souls were added is because they were willing to listen (repented) OBEYED and was BAPTIZED.

If they obeyed they must have been baptized so why wasn't being baptized a part of it?

We are saved by grace, you are right being baptized in JESUS name does not save you it is just a part of what we are told to do.
We are told to do alot of things

And we should.

But non of them have a say in our salvation

NO THE CROSS WAS NOT ENOUGH, how many people died on the cross what seperated JESUS from the others was HE ROSE, HIS DIING AND RISING AND ACCENDING TO HEAVEN TO PUT HIS BLOOD ON THE MERCY SEAT WAS ENOUGHT.
So Jesus died for nothing?

Since GOD is the one who established being baptized in JESUS name to remove our sin being baptized IS NOT OF MEN.
Gopd never decreed that, it is spirit baptism that washes sin, Called the washing of regeneration..

Water baptism gets you wet..

Spirit baptism washes you and makes you whiter than snow for the rest of eternity

Your reading a flawed interpretation. Study the greek. it does not say what you think it says.

So lets keep it simple if JESUS said in John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Show me the word baptize in Jesus talk with Nicodemus, why did he leave that word out>

Tell me what is your problem with Acts 2:38-39 since it says almost the same thing as John 3:5?
I have no problem

John 3 5 does not mention baptism, It mentions those who have faiht in christ.

Acts 2 Peter tells everyone to repent. but only a select few to get baptized..

Since we are born in sin,
And keep it simple how do we get born of water and of spirit?
Jesus answered.

1. Nicodemus asked how these things are possible

9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

Jesus answered

10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man [b]who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should [c]not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

We are born again by looking to the cross in faith and recieving his gift.

If we do not do this. Like those In Israel. we will remain condemned

Again, No baptism required

If your doing a work of righteousness to save yourself

it is called self righteousness.

Titus 1: 2
in HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE which GOD WHO CAN NOT LIE PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN

this is what our faith is in, the grace and mercy of God. not our deeds.

We are told to do alot of things

And we should.

But non of them have a say in our salvation

So Jesus died for nothing?

Gopd never decreed that, it is spirit baptism that washes sin, Called the washing of regeneration..

Water baptism gets you wet..

Spirit baptism washes you and makes you whiter than snow for the rest of eternity

Your reading a flawed interpretation. Study the greek. it does not say what you think it says.

Show me the word baptize in Jesus talk with Nicodemus, why did he leave that word out>

I have no problem

John 3 5 does not mention baptism, It mentions those who have faiht in christ.

Acts 2 Peter tells everyone to repent. but only a select few to get baptized..

Again, No baptism required

ok, you said

"Gopd never decreed that, it is spirit baptism that washes sin, Called the washing of regeneration..

Water baptism gets you wet..

Spirit baptism washes you and makes you whiter than snow for the rest of eternity"

So we are on the same page.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

SO THIS IS HIS WORDS.

In Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Are they both very clear??

YOU SAY!!!
Your reading a flawed interpretation. Study the greek. it does not say what you think it says.

I guess you really don't know greek because if you looked it up it's WORD FOR WORD.

I also guess you say that because some told you and your just spreading those lies which still is NOT GOOD.

What does the in word water mean in John 3:5?

Acts 2:38
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized EVERYONE OF YOU in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

So PROVE both of your statement with HIS word OR IT IS NOT TRUE.

Gopd never decreed that, it is spirit baptism that washes sin, Called the washing of regeneration..

Water baptism gets you wet..

Spirit baptism washes you and makes you whiter than snow for the rest of eternity"

"We are born again by looking to the cross in faith and recieving his gift."

1. Spirit baptism wash's away our sins.
2. It's called washing of regeneration.
3. We are born again by looking to the cross in faith and recieving his gift

Satan's plan keep them out of the water, if they get in the water keep JESUS name out of it.

What is it with people who fail to at least try to study, or listen to others to see if maybe they have something?

Again, The greek does not say this.

repent is a 2nd person plural word (Metanoesate)

so paul essentially told everyone there to repent. and if they do they will recieve the gift of the Holy SPirit (also second person plural)

he also told some to be baptized - (Baptistheto) (third person singular) on account of they had recieved remission of sin (eis can mean in order to recieved or on account you have already recieved) which completes the third person singular phrase.

It was shown more clear in the old english.. When it says and peter say Repent YE (Plural form of you) and let every one of YOU (singular version)

Either way, In no placed did Peter say in this passage to be baptized in water so you may recieve remission of sin

I guess you really don't know greek because if you looked it up it's WORD FOR WORD.
Lol. You do not know languages ver well do you. Even in english as written it would not make sense ising 2nd and thrd person singular and plural verbs.

It would say somethign like every one of you repent. and let THEM be baptized.

I also guess you say that because some told you and your just spreading those lies which still is NOT GOOD.
