Luke 18:27 and its cross references; Matthew 19:26 Mark 10:27 Genesis 18:14 Jeremiah 32:17 Jeremiah 32:27 Job 42:2 Zechariah 8:6 Numbers 11:23 Isaiah 46:10 Isaiah 55:8-9 Ephesians 3:20 Philippians 4:13 Romans 4:21 Hebrews 11:19 and 2 Corinthians 2:9 reminds us that nothing is impossible with God.

Amen, it is faith that does inherit the kingdom, but the kingdom won't be inhabited by 'bodies of faith.'

“Amen, it is faith that does inherit the kingdom, but the kingdom won't be inhabited by 'bodies of faith.”

“But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

…. it is sown a natural body;

it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body,

and there is a spiritual body.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

…Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:35, 44, 49-52‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:29-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:24KJV‬‬

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s what I’m saying not arguing any of that stuff like there’s no resurrection body or anything . My position is we could all just learn from what they are saying so for me the whole argument is really clear that Paul’s making there why he’s saying it and what he’s saying

i know =]

i am trying to head off potential trails one might go down if they weren't careful about putting the two together, because gnosticism is a ditch on the side of this road

Naw his body wasn’t corrupt a persons corrupt when they are tempted and then they yield to it like Adam did

I can guarantee you, the moment a person is born, their body is one day closer to dying. Why? Because it’s corrupt.

The text says Mary would conceive, which does not sound like an implant at all. Luke 1 v 31

Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

Conception occurs when the seed is planted. Biologically Impossible for Mary to conceive on her own.

yeah thats why flesh and blood can’t inherit the kingdom it’s corrupt .

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Kind of what I was saying our flesh and blood bodies are going to die because we sin

The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him,

and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:20‬ ‭

We’re corrupted with good and evil we aren’t spiritually dead our bodies have to die because we are tempted through our corrupted knowledge and we commit sin just like Adam and Eve did Our own sin is why we die not adams sin ours .

trhis process

“but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. ( that’s our corruption )

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin:( that’s why we sin )

and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”( that’s why we die )
‭‭James‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We aren’t born dead we grow up and that corruption leads to temptation and temptation then to sin and sin then to death because of our own choices and actions we die once our body , but our spirit goes to the lord for judgement after our body of flesh dies

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die,

but after this the judgment:”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

were appointed once to die because of this
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and this

“for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jesus is not included when it says all have sinned he didn’t sin like we have all done so death doesn’t have the claim it has on us with him

This means nothing against Jesus

“the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

But it’s why we die . We shouldn’t compare our own selves with Jesus as far as life and death he himself is the source of eternal life and he has come to save us from the impending death at judgement

He was legally able to rise up because he didint sin , we were appointed to death because we do sin and have sinned

Paul is actually exolaining the resurrection body but he isn’t exolaining about how Jesus rose it’s being conflated but jesus is different he didint sin so the sentence of death was never upon him he took it on our behalf but it was never a judgement against him he never sinned

Our own sins cause death but his righteousness and holiness manifest in his flesh results in life

Romans 5:12 . . through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin

It is commonly accepted among conventional Christians that the so-called
fallen nature is transmitted to Adam's posterity by means of heredity. Oh?
From whence did Eve obtain it?

She was constructed of material taken from Adam's body prior to his tasting
the forbidden fruit so it was impossible for him to transmit the fallen nature
to her by means of heredity, and yet her natural perception of decency was
replaced with an altered version the same time as his.

FAQ: If sin didn't enter Adam's posterity by means of heredity, then from
whence are people getting it?

REPLY: My guess is the Serpent-- a.k.a. the Devil & Satan. (Rev 12:9, Rev
20:2) He has the power of death (Heb 2:14) and the ability to tamper with
the human body and the human mind in ways not easily detected. (e.g. Luke
13:16, Mark 5:1-5, plus Eph 2:2-3)

FAQ: Why didn't the Devil tamper with Eve when she first tasted the fruit?

REPLY: It was apparently God's decision that if sin and death were to come
into the world, they would come by means of a solo man's actions, just as
life and righteousness would be offered to the world by means of a solo
man's actions. (Rom 5:12-21, 1Cor 15:21) In other words: this is all on
Adam though Eve participated in the event.

yeah thats why flesh and blood can’t inherit the kingdom it’s corrupt .

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”

And it is obvious that the blood is what makes us corrupt, passed down from Adam. When Jesus was resurrected, he was flesh and bone, no blood. He shed it on the cross.

Why the virgin birth?

And it is obvious that the blood is what makes us corrupt, passed down from Adam. When Jesus was resurrected, he was flesh and bone, no blood. He shed it on the cross.
Naw it’s obvious that flesh is corrupt

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The flesh lusts against the spirit not blood lol

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The lust is the corruption the flesh

We sin because we have a sin nature passed down from Adam (through the blood). All nations are of one blood.
We sin because our flesh lusts for evil and we are tempted , and we die because we sin . Like those scriptures say

Naw it’s obvious that flesh is corrupt

not Christ's tho :)

Acts 13:35-37
Therefore He also says in another Psalm:
' You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.'
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; but He whom God raised up saw no corruption.

Conception occurs when the seed is planted. Biologically Impossible for Mary to conceive on her own.
Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and conception occurred. Read the Bible. It says so. Your KJV puts it horribly:

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest
shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

But the wording does not leave room for your full-body implant of Jesus to take place.

Conception took place. That involved Mary's ovum.

Jesus' body without corruption probably made Him stronger and faster than those around Him. Had He not died young, this would have lasted as long as He lived.

but why a virgin

what is important about there being zero question about a man being involved in His incarnation?

Romans 5:12
through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin
tthis, despite Woman being first to sin

Although this is piggybacking on another old adage, I've adopted the philosophy that "if you can't explain simply then you simply can't explain it."

I'd rephrase Rom5:12 with "Man let sin in and sin let death in." However, Jesus neither brought sin into the world nor experienced death through sin as He died for the sins of the world (although I do suppose that many would try to argue that indeed He died, at least indirectly, through sin). What would the parallel? I don't think that's the term I want for the correlation with Adam's effect in Jesus taking sin out of the world by His death and life through (faith?).

I probably totally missed the point you were attempting to make in asking this question though. That the Y chromosome was Spirit?

Eggzactly !! He died for our sins

I logged this thought into the (Potentially) Profound Thoughts thread because I wanted to note it for posterity and then I thought it would be an relevant thought in the Two Natures??? thread and then I realized I was just in the Two Natures??? thread when I looked for the Two Natured thread...

I was listening to writings from Emmet Fox's The Mind of Christ and they germinated some thoughts that the body has influence, and the mind has influence, and the spirit has influence, and so the soul has influence according to the part of the soul that is given primary influence.
