So we're back at square one since anybody can justify their behavior claiming it is what Jesus would do.
Sometimes square one is the best place to be, but if anyone can justify their actions claiming it is what Jesus would do then they aren't reading their bibles.

"So then faith cometh ***OF/FROM/OUT OF G1537*** hearing, and hearing ***THROUGH G1223*** the word of God" (BEING PREACHED!)

Amen, they have to muddle it up.

They turn people into one dimensional carbon copies of each other and and go against exactly what God has explicitly told us He requires from a person.

Whosoever refers to believers...whosoever believes, and not to unbelievers. They are not included in whosoever believes. If you only consider part of a verse, you will only get part of the understanding.

"They" in Rev. 7:9 refers to believers, and "whosoever" in Rev. 22:17 refers to potential believers, who may become believers.
Hallelujah!

my daughter is a teacher (grade 6) ... she told me about a kid in her classroom a couple years ago who meowed ... wouldn't answer questions ... just meowed ... so frustrating for her and so disruptive to the other kids ... she finally got through to the kid, but don't know if the the kid reverted once my daughter was no longer the teacher. she spent a lot of time with that kid..

I've read some on the news threads say this isn't happening. Don't have to be concerned and try to fix the cause or the result of what's not happening. Nothing to see here...

as for humiliation well Jesus showed us what that looks like as well
Is this not what you were implying? That there are biblical examples where humiliation is appropriate?

That is how that faith in God comes.

Stop and ask someone directions?
That takes faith in what he said to pursue the destination.

Rather strange the people who preach "inability" are the ones with the "inability" to believe what is in scripture!

You stated in your post we are back to square one where anybody can justify their actions by claiming it is what Jesus would do my response to that was not to confuse you but to to say that if one tries to say justify senseless arguing like how some on here say the mind of Christ means bringing a sword then they aren't reading their bibles.

My implying was that Jesus took humiliation with humbleness

These things get blown up out of proportion, but there are certainly more children on the spectrum who do not have the same sense of reality.

It is my opinion that 'despising the shame' is a good attitude of His to adopt.

Not much to discuss really. Other than preventing the misapprehension of one verse pulled out of context from becoming another Gnostic heresy that only the super-determinist gatekeepers own and understand.

To think people cannot hear the Gospel and be moved positively by the truth and power of the message, has to be the pinnacle of anti-Gospel.

That everyone display humility would be ideal. Yet, we even have different ideas about the meaning of humility. Humility one thing, it's a character trait of an individual, but humiliation is something else. It's part of the character of what a certain individual does, which is definitely not from the character of humility. Personally, I figure that being wrong is plenty enough humiliation that anyone should have to bear. I watched a learning program with my grandgirl about a big cheese that always won everything until a cheese wedge came along and beat him in every event. While the big cheese went through all the emotions of losing, the wedge humbly accepted its award gracefully saying, "...anyone can do it."

Too funny!

I've never been asked the question by my children. They were taught from an early age that salvation was of God, that I believed they were children of promise, and that God would come at some point in their lives and make Himself known.

I also shared story after story in the Bible where God did the same thing to many, many people. God came to Adam and Eve. He came to Noah. He came to Abraham. Jesus came to find His sheep. The disciples were instructed to go to people. And one day, he will come to you. Can't imagine a more encouraging message than that the God of all glory would seek and save them personally.

Correction, you do NOT need them to ask to share the Gospel.

Salvation is the result of belief

“preach the gospel anyones who’s already saved will believe it “

Thats not what it says it’s contrary and backwards it says “preach the gospel by one who believes shall be saved “

Salvation is a direct result of believing the gospel. The gospel is the power of God to save lost sinners

This is biblical.
Thank you, a steady voice, no need to make it all complicated which scripture does not.

Seems like questions like "where does faith come from?" are attempts to destroy the power of the Gospel message.

Being an original language and grammar student of the Word, there are some things there to pinpoint how and why someone is thinking wrongly about what's said.

You're seeing this when you go to Strong's and provide meanings of a few words. What do you think about the word "hearing" in Rom10:17? What do we think Paul means by it? What do you think @Pilgrimshope, @Genez, @reneweddaybyday, @Kroogz and others think it means? Then, what do we think @Cameron143 thinks differently about it than the rest of us?
