Acts26-16b-18.png

Acts 26 v 16b-18 ~ I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen from Me and what I will show you. I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.

Matthew18-19-20s.png

Matthew 18 v 19-20 I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.
Here we have two birds teaching Scripture...

i did . Hearing the gospel brings us to new life like Jesus said. The gospel being preached is how someone can hear it
Lazarus is dead 4 days and residing in a tomb. Jesus raises him from the dead by calling him forth. Was Lazarus given life, heard the words of Jesus, and came forth, or, did he hear the words, come to life, and come forth?

Jesus said the dead will hear.

“ it requires one to hear the call “

…..that’s why the great commission

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭

“But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, Their sound went into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can hear because he’s speaking
God's caller ID shows up and you either pick up or you do not. And the thing is..... everybody knows Who it is and why He is calling. No excuses are viable.

And yes, He stands ready to reply to anyone anytime. He is the Savior with a job to do in good faith after all.

[Rev 3:20 KJV] 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Yet for some (very disturbing) reasons, the super-determinists deny that everyone on earth is toting around a fully functional cellphone.

Jesus said the dead will hear.
It doesn't really matter how they answer. If dead people can't hear, but suddenly do, the hearing couldn't have come from themselves. Neither can it simply mean audible hearing, as dead people can't audibly hear.
If they say life must first be imparted, then they have life granted before hearing can lead to faith.
This is why no one has answered.

Make this make sense.
We are close to 6000 responses in this thread.

We are inundated with..... Total inability, total darkness, total depravity, mankind cannot choose to believe, the natural man cannot understand the things of God.

How do you "reach" people with this kind of witness?

It's ALL a WASTE OF TIME....none can understand.

Yes but you're forgetting God randomly chooses whoever He wants to and regenerates them, saving them from all those things, then they can believe and be saved.

o_O

Yeah, they cannot get past the physical and take it into the spiritual realm. It is beyond them.

That is why some mock and scoff and denigrate the spiritual things of God.

On the other hand, it is written:

John 11:26
26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

NIV

Non-free willers would probably reword it to read more like this...

... and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
Did I make you believe this?"

Excuse me??!! It has been explained in great detail as to how the unregenerate can hear and respond to the Gospel. One word for you ... GRACE!!!!!

Hey....

That's what grace does!

It makes the (spiritually) dead person able to hear for himself what he needs to hear.

That is the part that keeps eluding you campers.

As far as FWers are concerned, not if it comes from God it isn't!
Well we heard just recently that God giving faith as a gift equals being forced to believe in their theology.

Of course we already understood how sick and twisted their reasoning was. Having them spell it out might help them see it too.

Yeah he told us the end he ordained and the means

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; ( that’s salvation for believers )

but he that believeth not shall be damned.” ( that’s the end of non believers )
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there’s no secret thing he does for some and not others the gospel is what he did to save us all . You guys talk about his dominion but whenever you read his judgements you outright reject what he said and explain he’s soveriegn he can do what he wants as if he’s been lying all along and isn’t going to do things just as he has said

God never intended to save all humanity in the distributive sense. You should get up to speed on Remnant Theology.

My my my...... You have found the right theology for those who want to feel superior to everyone else!

I wonder how one can "force" helpless people to do anything?

Except grace doesn't simply allow hearing; it saves. And half the people agreeing with you don't acknowledge that the natural man is dead or that God gives hearing.
