Gen 17:

9 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.

10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner—those who are not your offspring.

13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant.

so again, is this 'everlasting covenant'?

.

Yep!!!

17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. 18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:

“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

So ISRAEL should chant, "From the river (Euphrates) to the sea ISRAEL WILL be free"!

As I've stated repeatedly, and yet this myth keeps being repeated ad nauseum, Paul said in Galatians 3:16 that the seed in verse 18 is referring to Christ, not to Abraham's descendants.

That is heartbreaking...
Yes, I've listened to the pro Palestinian mob and Palestinians themselves justify burning babies, raping and murdering mothers and young children. Do you not remember who started this? Or is Israel the only place on earth not permitted to defend itself?

Who started it?
It was not the Palestinians that we know for sure.

The blame lays squarely on the early Zionists (Rothschild, Herzl et., al.) along with backing from UK/France/USA.
Do you even know that historically speaking most orthodox Jews did not support Zionism.

You do not even care that Jewish settlers are attacking Christians in Taybeh.

And while I am at it, many people have died needlessly and will continue to suffer and die needlessly, because of this very false dispensationalist teaching of outstanding land promise promolgated in late 1800's invented by John Darby, C. I Scofield, Charles Taze Russell among others, funded by the ill conceived Zionist movement.

Will you ever investigate covenant theology and abandon these false doctrines?.... probably not .... but you have been told it is false and so it is on you and you are accountable.

Christ Jesus fulfilled it all.
The Book of Hebrews makes it very clear.

Amen!

No worries dispensationalism is taking its last gasps and so they are desparate,

We see God is having His way with this false doctrine which denegrates Christ Jesus and all the fulfillment in Him.

The ancient historian Josephus recorded 97,000 Israelites survived the siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD and you still think there's no descendents today?

They were ensalved and scattered, that did not survive as a "group" that is very important to note.

Are you a geneticist? Do you know all the history of Jews in the last 2,000 years? Perhaps you can explain why the supposed non Jews were so intensely persecuted. And why, in spite of that, Jews persist and flourish today. For a people that does not exist, they are doing pretty well.

None of that makes dispensationalism true.

Well put on your Palestinian scarf and paint your hair and protest like the rest.
Did you know that all of Palestine is not Palestinians.

At least I do not idolize a secular nation and defend its sins and pretend like God wants them to starve people en masse.

What!!! I quoted you the passage check it yourself - read the surrounding passages.

- uses the same word as the passages you think support you.
Exactly. The same ones arguing that the land promises by God to Abraham in the Old Testament still somehow apply to those calling themselves Jews today, should also be arguing for circumcision as a requirement for church membership. Why are they not? Because they know they would be soundly defeated simply by referring to Paul's epistle to the Galatians, which settled the matter long ago. So these cultists insist push a contradictory argument, that "everlasting" when it applies to land promises means something different to "everlasting" when it applies to the covenant sign of circumcision.

So if its everylasting - should not all still be circumsised

So, you accept that all should still be circumcised as its 'everlasting covenant' - you and your descendants – that would also include Christians– if not why not?

14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.

Noting: Paul appears to be of a different opinion to yours.

Spiritual Israel is Heaven.
Physical Israel is on Earth.
Physical Jews will always inherit physical earthly Israel.
The Saved inherit Spiritual Israel.

Yeah, that pesky Chapter 15, whereby ONLY God, creating the eternal covenant with Abraham and his descendants, walked through the cut pieces SEALING FOREVER the covenant. Abraham DID NOT!

God’s Covenant with Abram
15 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

7 Then He said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

8 And he said, “Lord God, how shall I know that I will inherit it?”

9 So He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” 10 Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; but he did not cut the birds in two. 11 And when the vultures came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. 13 Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15 Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

Sorry - what’s the point you are making (also none of the passages mention Israel)?

the discussion was if 'everlasting' actually means forever regarding circumcision. Maybe you would like to clarify!

A blessing they have been murdered, well here we have the New Churchianity.

Evil is now good.
The god they are serving reveals himself more and more. Inconsistent between "everlasting" to "everlasting". Sanctions the murder of innocent women and children for his worldly causes. Justifies the protection of mass pedophiles who are working for "his people".

Very different to the true God, who is the same yesterday, today and forever, who condemns the murder of the innocent, and who says of those who cause little ones who believe in Him to sin that - it would be better for them to be cast into the sea with millstones tied about their necks.

Are you looking to inherit a Spiritual eternal home or a temporary physical earthly home which means you are not saved?

This is explained by the Prophets, Jesus, and Paul.

This is a logical fallacy. Pointing out that nowhere does scripture indicate that "physical Israel will always be inhabited by physical Jews" in no ways indicates that one is or is not looking to inherit a spiritual eternal home or a temporary physical earthly home.

Amen, seems to be Jews first and then Jesus.

Someone actually stated (on this thread I think) there must be something wrong with me because I could not sense the "choosen-ness" of the Jews.
That is one massive bucket load of indoctrination. :(

Yes, awaiting a spiritual eternal home on earth in a physical body that is not subject to sin and corruption, ie, a spiritual body
