Sooooooooo , these questions r very specific and go out to all of u who believe that masturbation is a sin .
Do u believe that masturbation is a sin because it is fulfilling the lusts of the flesh ?
R unmarried ?
Do u , or have u ever had sex with your spouse ?
When u did or do have sex with your spouse , do u use any form of contraception ?
If u answered ' yes ' to these questions then , by your own logic , when u have sex using any form of contraception , u r having sex for the sole purpose of satisfying your lust . Therefore u r in the same category as people who masturbate I think 🤪 .

I think you should find a truth based pastor and have him explain Genesis to you.

Yep , give it a go . Justify contraception Biblically . I'm all ears .

Wait. Are you implying that contraception is ok with God, as well?
Mind if I ask what your status is at this point with Jesus? Like, how long have you been a believer in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Do you believe He died on a Cross for your sins, was buried and rose from the grave the third day?

LOL. Oh, this one again. OK. Gee, I must be dumb. I'm not trying to justify contraception. It's not justifiable in Gods eyes. Why is that hard? You're trying to make something out of something that's just not there. Masturbation and contraception are not Godly. You're trying to differentiate two synonymous acts. Spilling your seed in vain is sin. Whether on the ground or in a bag. Find a church.

From what I read in the Bible, sex between spouses is not just for making babies. It is to enjoy each other physically. But I'm not married so I'm just going by what the Bible says, lol!

But let's get back the thread's topic. Please consider that you have the Holy Spirit who can overcome any sin in your life including masturbation. It's actually nice to live by the Holy Spirit and being unfettered by any habitual sins. It also makes God happy to see His child live free of it. Plus the longer you live in the Holy Spirit, the easier it is to "no" to temptations and sin. He will also replace it with peace unlike anything the world can give! A peace you would end up preferring over the habitual sins that would use to hold you.

So for all the people who want to be free of this habitual sin as well as others, give the Holy Spirit a chance to help you overcome it! Don't resist His will and He will help you!

Seems you are at the pinnacle of salvation. Could you tell us how you got there without kindness? I would like to know how that is possible. Just curious.

Are you teachable?

So it brings me to a question about God. WHY would God care? He gave us the commandments for our own good, not to condemn us. What God had said about all he's commandments, is, do no evil to someone, do not hate them. Love is the fulfillment of all the commandments. So why would God care about masturbation. What evil have you done to someone?

Is it your seed being spilled or His? Do you feel you are representing God's service with your actions? Is there a feeling of guilt afterwards or peace and love? Is it producing it's intended purpose to be fruitful and multiply or is it self centered?

Gen. 39:9 "There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God."

I'm guessing they just used their imagination .

it isn't just a bodily function though. impure thoughts = sin. you know Suze my mom said often growing up that woman have to be careful because we tend to be swayed by our feelings of mercy. For God is righteous so we have to be careful to what we support and if its for the right reasons. What if someone fall into sin because something you say it isn't wrong and becomes demon possessed? would that not make you guilty because they never repented thinking it wasn't a sin?

Could you at least contribute some insight to the question the op asked, then, please? I'm as curious as they are.

Pro. 26:17 He that passeth by and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.
