"And they were all amazed saying one to another, are not these men all Galilean? How is it we hear them in our own tongues. These men are drunk.". Then, Peter, being full of the Holy Ghost said, "These men are not drunk, seeing it is but the third hour." Continue Acts 2:17-Acts 28:31 or just read the Book of Joel. You're trying to synonymize Ghost and Spirit and I just don't read it that way. I'm wondering what the function of the Holy Ghost in todays church is, considering all prophecy is being or has been fulfilled, so there's no need to prophesy anything. Nobody is called to perform real miracle healings anymore as everything goes according to Gods plan and if you're called home you're called home and if you're not, it's not your time. Why are churches teaching to be filled with the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues when we are not called to receive the Holy Ghost today and speak in an unknown tongue? The Bible has been translated into all languages? No need for tongues and interpreters today.

How can you have the gifts of the Holy Ghost without getting the Holy Ghost?

Like Peter said after they received the Holy Ghost, in verse 33 it's what you see and hear.

Those around them saw and heard what happened when they got the Holy Ghost, I bet the 120 had no idea of what happened. It has never happened before, they were just told to wait for it. Wait for WHAT lol. They found out.
