Hello! I would draw your attention to this passage:

Acts 1: 6-7 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”. He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

Please note, the apostles have the expectation that the Kingdom will be restored to Israel. The Lord Jesus does not contradict that expectation but tells them they will not know the time. But the Father has set the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel by his own authority. God Bless You :)

Did he answer in the affirmative that it would be a physical restoration.
Notice He did not.
 
I might get a lot of blow back from this where theological hachet people may disagree but been there done that.

Jesus was fully man and fully God therefore the promises made to Abraham also applies to Jesus.
As the angel said at his ascension.....this same Jesus who you see will return in like matter.
The lion of Judah, prince of peace, Lord of lords return physically to sit on davids throne physically, in the physical temple.
To rule with a rod of iron the physical nations from Jerusalem in the Physical place we call today Israel.
Israel has once more a king. The son of david.we have our savior and Lord.

If it's not physical then it doesn't meet the definition of a restoration.

The restoration is spiritual (even better, See Hebrews) but the Jews were looking for a physical, seems like problems of history repeat.

6 So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.


Your Verses mention [(times and seasons)] which represents the physical things.

The Disciples are clearly talking about the physical earthly Israel.

I'm not here to make friends but if I do that's a plus. But this needs to be said.

Some people don't believe. Others believe, some need help with there unbelief.
But I have to say some just don't want to believe no matter the evidence.🤔
 
The real issue is, is what you believe the faith of Christ?

His first advent was as the Son of Joseph, notice the similarities in Joseph who did not initially reveal himself to his brothers and His second advent will be as Son of David.

That's a Jewish tradition of 2 messiahs; it's not Christian. His first advent was as the son of David, which unbelieving Jews reject.

Just because I don't know exactly what fallacy you are employing here in your attempt to convict me, I haven't the mastery to recognize all the various indications, I do know when someone is trying to use fear to their advantage, and that is flags the spirit of fear, and not of a sound mind of Christ. And you will not hold me captive with the Frankfurter syndrome as your prize.

It is how Jesus answered that matters.
If we are going to go to outside sources..

Returning to a Right Relationship with God:
Spiritual restoration often follows a period of spiritual estrangement, whether due to personal failings, external circumstances, or a general decline in faith

The similarities between Jesus and Joseph are interesting and possibly have merit, but Jesus never was and never will be the son of Joseph. David was given a very specific promise, a salt covenant, that his seed would be ruler of a kingdom that would last forever. Joseph received no such promise; he wasn't even the firstborn to have received any promise. So Jesus could not be king of Israel if he was the son of Joseph and not the son of David.

Israel is by promise NOT ethnicity (Rom 9:6)

Jesus is the promised Seed and those IN him (Gal 3:16, 19,29).

He is the land and our exceedingly great reward; the Better Country (Heavenly Land) (Hebrews 11:9–10, 13–16)

Jesus came as the suffering servant, and He will return as the ruling King.
