The kind that live in trees and swamp logs sweating all day in the heat to come out at night and stink the place up lol.
It gets hot and very humid here, but I haven't noticed the critters stinking up the place. Good grief, I hope it's not one of those things where I've gotten so used to the smell that now I can't smell it anymore lol.

I thought that they were hetero.
Me too until someone told me about an out of the closet crossdresser who was married. Then you see adults you work with who hit on dudes who are married to women. Alex Jones used the term from time to time on the news.

This reminds me of story. I went to a lake out in the Osage to do some paddle boating with my mother. I paddled us a good ways out. The lake was turning over and it clogged the paddle boat. I had to jump into the lake and tug the boat and my mother to the bank. Since the lake was turning over, I looked like Swamp Thing when I got to the bank. Then since we were at a different side of the lake, we had to hike up a rocky wooded hill without a trail to get to the road, then take the road to get to the park office...where I sloshed my way inside the park office looking like Swamp Thing. We were issued a refund. And I think I may have been laughed at

The fun adventures of life!
I know what it means when the lake turns over, but you might want to explain it for the normal people.

How do I know what it means? No, I've never seen it. I picked up the concept from a book somewhere.

Normal people? Am I not normal? And here I was thinking that country folks are the normal ones 😂

Lake turning over means the upper water of the lake is sinking and the bottom water is rising. This stirs things up. The reason I looked like Swamp Thing when I came out of the water is because I was swimming through the algae and organic material that was stirred up in the lake due to the lake turning over. It's a healthy process for lakes to do this.

That wasn't my first time to be in a lake or pond when it was turning over, but I looked particularly like Swamp Thing that time! 🧌

Beard scripture for today...

Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when [we] dwell in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head,
running down on the beard...
~from Psalm 133

Have a blessed and beardy week ahead 😊
