It is a greater work to sin
and to repent and never sin again.
Than to never have sinned.

sorry if i overstep my bounds but both my pastors and many spiritually mature believers in my church believe he is a good man in christ.
i sin. theother day you @Haidabo reacted in anger to someone. or lusted even for a moment. are you in the book? possibly. but it is not my place to say. it is for you to examine yourself. but by its fruit is the tree known.

The bible is not my source of truth.
The bible is his source of truth.
My source of truth is the Spirit of truth.

But it is the same Holy Spirit Who guided the human writers of the bible:

“20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2Pe 1:20-21 NKJV)

The bible is vitally important:

“16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2Ti 3:16-17 NKJV)

What you wrote about the bible not being your source of truth explains many of the unusual beliefs you seem to have.
