For some reason, I've always been fascinated by the Southern USA, but grew up in the North...
As part of God's sense of humor, He surrounded me with the vast majority of my friends here being from the South. I get called a Yankee on a regular basis, though pretty much only by a certain regionally-biased cat... Cough, cough. @Lynx

As I mentioned before, I am not really into the number thing either.I'm not big on the rating system. I either find a guy attractive or I don't, and many different factors can add or subtract from a guys' attractiveness level.
But I gotta ask..... if your AI dream girl is only a 9 in your eyes, what the HECK would a 10 look like to ya?!?For real, she's literally COVERED in makeup, and that crud is expensive and time consuming.
Your question to the OP made me think of something that I would now like to point out...
With specific regard to being a marriage prospect:
If I was going to assign a number to a woman that represented her attractiveness on a scale - it would be based on what she looked like with no makeup on. Why? Because, that would be the only way that it could/would properly represent her.
Otherwise, I would just be assigning a number to an image.
A woman with makeup on --- that is not her --- it is only an image - like those two images I was comparing earlier.
When it comes to her being a marriage prospect - I am really only interested in what she looks like - not her makeup.
When it comes to up-close-and-personal - I want to find her attractive 'in the natural' - makeup is a major turnoff.
So - what does a '10' look like?
A '10' is a woman I find attractive 'in the natural' - no makeup whatsoever - just her nice, soft, clean, natural skin.
