Instead, they make it about the lineage of one from "true" physical Jews - although, of course, since 70AD, no one claiming to be Jewish has been able to verify his Jewish ancestry with the necessary temple records.
I am quite amazed at the reasoning of people on this matter. Not every Jew left Israel. The war took place in Jerusalem, a city, not a nation. Natural Jews have been in Israel since Joshua led them there. They might have disguised themselves and claimed to be this or that but there's always been remnants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the land of Israel.

Who really cares?
You are like
a rich man who comes
into a house of poor people
who can barely pay their bills
and cry about how
the stock market went down
and you lost a little money.

WE DO NOT CARE.

I do care enough to not allow ignorance to define the Truth of my heritage. The world is full of more ignorant idealism than it is of the truth. That same analogy can also be found in the Gospels with light and darkness, truth and blindness. It seems to be a constant among much of humanity.

How can I argue with a man who says this to me?
So I will say what Jesus would say to you.
Go and sin no more.

It was always about the spirit/heart. Any focus on the flesh was simply to draw attention to what God did in the heart.

Deuteronomy 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
You can't wipe chapters out of the Bible. As usual, we're still on everlasting unconditional covenant. We haven't moved from there.

Never made that argument, so there's that. smh
He chose them and made a covenant regarding the land they had herotes through Abraham’s promise

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15-18‬ ‭

and then they broke the covenant he made with them and so

“And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.”
‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭23:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but then a promise to them ( israel)

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

then tbat new promised covenant came but many of them rejected it as they had the first covenant all through the ot God was sending them prophets warning them eventually he sent Jesus to warn them and tell them the new covenant that would forgive those sins and teach them truth that wouod fill them with a new spirit and renew thief hesrts within them bit when Jesus came they rejected and had him crucified that matters a lot as to what transpired

they constantly rejected him forst the early prophets calling them to repent this parable is about Israel and tells thier story

““Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit. “The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. ( what they did to the early prophets )

Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. ( what they did to the latter messianic prophets )

Last of all, he sent his son ( Jesus messiah ) to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. “But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.( what they did to Jesus the son of God who was the messenger of the promised new covenant )

Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.”

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “ ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’ ? “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:33-43‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I’m j tbe old covenant isrwel was promised tbat if they obeyed God he would make then a kingdom to rule the earth and he would dwell among them but if they broke his covenant then there would be a very different outcome for them and thier land

Where is the Ark?
Even if you were to build a temple
God will not be in it.

No Ark No God.

The only reason God blessed natural Israel was to keep his promises to Abraham. Once everything was fulfilled in Christ, that no longer applies. All of the blessings are now to those in Christ.

It's as simple as this, has Israel ever possessed all the land God promised them? No. So either God is a liar, or He will keep His promises. The dry bones are the picture of Israel, coming to life again. God will keep His promises.
