The previous FBI leadership had the Epstein files for years and they hated Trump to death, and tried desperately to take him down? So, if there was anything in the Epstein files damaging to Trump, would’nt they have released or leaked it, long time ago? Does Musk know more than the FBI? Angry people sometimes allow their emotions to get out of control and say things, without any proof just to hurt other? Just because Musk or anyone says something, does not make it true, unless it can be validated. Trump is a real estate developer, hotel and golf course owner, who has met thousands of people, including Epstein and has been photographed with them. But being in a picture with someone does not make you an accomplice to their crimes? And should we believe that Musk knows, what the FBI failed to find for years, as they tried to destroy Trump?

I'm quite sure the Donald is in the Epstein files, Muskrat is right about that; but whether or not there's anything criminal in there is the question. More than likely there are just things that show Donald in a pretty bad light. Michael Wolff interviewed Epstein, and Epstein said some pretty bad stuff about Donald; made him look like and idiot. Epstein and Donald hung out together for 15 years, so I find it pretty hard to believe the Donald didn't take advantage of Epstein's access to very young girls. Proving it is another story though.

How about waiting until the facts are revealed before indulging in speculation. And you are right that making a claim does not make it true. Mr Trump spouts all kinds of lies, repeats Russian propaganda without fact checking and believes that Vladmir Putin is one of the good guys. Mr Musk would do well to focus on his businesses.

Mr Musk has a short fuse. Put two men like that together and it is no surprise that there are fireworks. The truth will come out. The world will shake its head and get on with life.

I think it might become a little more obvious that Trump is actually implicated in being the one that either collaborated with or outright participated in bringing Epstein down, but this is just kind of like old news frankly.

At any rate in terms of this feud being the more current topical debate lately keeping it strictly between picking a side between either Elon or Trump well, we're taking Trump's side easy. I like Elon and the idea of a broader coalition, but I mean forced to pick a side I am I'm gonna pick Trump because believe he is right both in context of the feud and more broadly about the issues tied to it like the big beautiful bill. In terms of the back and forth of the feud though I think Trump is right and essentially Elon is just spazzing, he just snapped basically from all the pressure I think cause he got laid off and the glamor is gone. Though Elon could have before stuck around in the court politics of it all quietly nursing his black eye, but not after this, before he was just quietly retired, now he's certainly fired!

Elon Musk has frequently said that he is against mandates and subsidies. However, what upsets Exxon and their ilk is that Elon Musk seeks the end of subsidies to the oil and gas industry as well. I just hope some sanity prevails. Tesla is a successful American car manufacturer. American content is the highest of any car made in the USA. Allowing personal prejudice to influence decisions is stupid and counter productive. Tesla is competing with an increasingly improving Chinese EV manufacturing sector. The US government should encourage Tesla, not dump on them. And no, I don't agree with subsidies either.

The fact is that exhaust fumes from internal combustion engines are a health risk. EV's have no exhaust. They are also quieter, reducing noise pollution. We've put double glazing in our home at great expense, mostly because of noise from passing traffic.

I would say that the Republicans will undoubtedly side with Trump because he is the president elect and Musk is barely a sideshow.
Musk will be supported by tier 1 confused liberal cheerleaders and probably a minority of republicans who are republicans in name only.

But the majority is with Trump because they voted for Trump not for the South African guy.
