How can we be male or female if we do not have reproductive organs? How can the Son of God, be male if he no longer is a Man? It even says, "There is One Mediator between God and Man, The Man Jesus Christ."

Genesis 6: 1 - 4 Seems to indicate that some angels did have reproductive capabilities at some point. Some contend the verse only refers to fallen angels. Perhaps. But having reproductive organs does not mean one is bound to use them. Maybe that was a choice the angels had, and some chose wrongly.

Matthew 22: 30 states that in the resurrection there will be no marriage. I don't think that necessarily means we won't have reproductive organs, but it does sound like we won't be using them for reproduction.

Something your posts made me think of.... if children were born after the resurrection, would they be able to receive salvation? Death and hell would already have been cast into the lake of fire by then.

Based on my own experience and observations, dealing with Starfleet command is always a bit problematic. Bunch of pencil pushers for sure with little understanding on what it takes to function in the real world.

Yes, that's definitely possible, though "Sons of God" was typically used to describe angelic/spirit beings in the OT. It's definitely a mysterious passage. 1 Corinthians 11:10 is mysterious as well.

Of course we won't know until we get there, but I'm assuming no marriage in Heaven also means no sex. And also no babies being born. I could be wrong though!

Exodus 4:22, God declares that "Israel is my son, my firstborn". 1 Chronicles 28:6, God explicitly states that he has chosen
Solomon to build his house and will be a father to him. This is a clear indication that Solomon is considered God's son.

I do not disagree with you, it's entirely possible the Genesis reference was about the children of Seth and Cain. I do not feel 100% certain either way. It has also been postulated that (if they were indeed spirit beings), the fathers would have been among the fallen angels, which have no interest in doing the will of God.... perhaps it was part of their rebellion. Was definitely an interesting time in history, with giants and nephillim and people living 500 years. It's an interesting topic, will be cool to find out when we get to Heaven .

Regardless, I do not find it implausible that the male angels have male anatomy, and if any female angels exist, I'd imagine they would have female anatomy.

I also do not find it implausible that we will retain our basic anatomy in our glorified bodies, as the anatomy itself is not sinful. But hey.... who knows?

Hi Edith, unless I am mistaken the Bible only mentions angels in the masculine form. So I would tend to assume they are all "male" in whatever sense that means.

I just didn't want to rule out the possibility of female angels since the Bible doesn't specifically say there aren't any.

Jesus did say that the angels don't participate in marriage, but exactly what that says about their body parts I do not know, and I feel a little weird trying too hard to guess .
