My mistake it was you. I thought you were comparing the cult like support that Hitler got with the political support that Trump is now getting.
There are very few people who are saying Trump can do no wrong. Generally what his supporters are saying is "give him a chance and let's see if he can resolve this".
My point is that there is no comparison between the cult like behavior with Hitler and what we see today with Trump. Now if Trump were to bring peace, resolved the trade deficit, pay off the US debt and "make America Great again" then who knows, but that is not where we are right now. In the US people are losing their jobs, prices are going up, and the threat of nuclear war is made every day. The situation is quite similar to David when Absalom had his rebellion. You have a few leftist still supporting the old regime of Absalom, you have these ones that throw dirt at Trump every single day like RA, you have his loyal supporters that went with Trump when he had to flee Washington DC, and you have the rest of the country realizing the nation is in turmoil and simply waiting to see how it all plays out.

I understood your reference in regards to communism despite the commentary that you got here, but i knew what you meant because this is something that comes up in our church too.
And although a few details don't line up with the term and the definition, the essence is that "collectivism" and "universality" or "unlimited resources" or "sufficient on our own" are some slogans used in commusim so i knew what you meant.
I have actually lived under communism, north-korea style so i know what it is more than a lot of people but yes, you are right in your comparisons.

You're going over a lot of long topics here for which i mentioned briefly on many of my responses to you, which you can't register because ... you're a liberal ... according to American understanding of what a liberal is.
You won't understand this because it took me about 5 years of living in America to understand what a liberal is according to the US version and what a Liberal is according to the European version.
The short answer on that is like this: Take any right wing extreme party in your country. You call that extreme or right-wing.
In USA, that's called Centrist.
If you don't like it, then that's fine, but you're not going to change the understanding and the definition of what a liberal is in USA.

I support that because in Europe that's considered a right. But in USA that's considered socialism, so because of that view alone, i do get attached to the left when i'm discussing things with others.
Now, i understand this and i'm fine with it, but you don't even begin to understand any of this because you don't even live in USA.
Also, if you factor-in that guns are almost illegal in most of Europe and in USA you can get them at Walmart is another aspect where you might be labeled as a Communist if you try to change laws to take guns away from citizens here.
So again, try to speak for the things that you know in your country would be my advice.

The politicians on both sides. Left wing and right wing are connected to the same bird. The only thing that makes a politician a dem or republican is when they run for a district or state that has more republican or democrats in it. Take Liz Warren she started her political career as a republican because in the distric she started in it was rual. Then when she got big plans she changed to democrat because Massachusetts is a blue state in a statewide vote. Do you actually think she was ever a republican or a Democrat. No she just spouts the party lines that gets her elected. Voting is the illusion of choice. You are not chosing anyone you are picking between the choices the money puts in front of you. The same people and companies give to both parties cause they know no matter who wins they always do.

Well I have to say that I do agree with a lot of what you say here and the point that one realizes when you see all this nonsense is that God is and should come first for Christians.
This is also what Znp has said in many of his posts in the news section where a lot of this nonsense is vanity.
When one arrives at this conclusion where we put God first and give Cesar what belongs to the Cesar then there shouldn’t be anything else left to say.
But as we both know, we will have the clueless reddit liberal here who needs correction.

At that point i knew he would win.
