The beast is mentioned have seven heads in Revelation 13:1; 17:7-11.

In Rev. 13:1, a beast is described that sounds like the combination of the 4 beasts in Daniel Chapter 7. Based on that, I conclude that one lion head is Babylon, one bear head is Medo-Persia, four leopard heads are Greek kingdoms, and one head with ten horns belongs to the fourth beast in Daniel. (By the way, the Styracosaurus was a dinosaur similar to a triceratops that had many horns)

Revelation 17 calls them seven mountains and seven kings. I interpret this to mean seven geographical locations that were capitals of kingdoms/empires. Thus I interpret the 4 leopard heads as Macedonia, Eastern Thrace, Syria, and Egypt, based on the four Diadochi Greek kingdoms around 300 BC. When John wrote Revelation around AD 95, five were fallen (Babylon, Macedonia, Eastern Thrace, Syria, Egypt), one was (Medo-Persia), and one did not come yet. You will notice that I did not include Rome which conquered the first five, since I think the one that was refers to the Parthian Empire (Medo-Persia), which was later followed by the Sasanian Empire (also Medo-Persia). If the beast is Islam, then the seventh head could be Medina in Arabia, which was the capital city from AD 622-656, which is a relatively short time. Later Islamic kingdoms and caliphates had capitals in Babylonia (Kufah and Baghdad), Syria (Damascus), Egypt (Cairo), and Eastern Thrace (Istanbul).

This leaves out Assyria and Rome. What do you think?

Rome is in the middle of every Satanic movement throughout history since it rose to power so I wouldn't think it's a good idea to eliminate it.

7 can just mean Divine Completion, but in this case God uses 7 Nations as Beasts over Israel to get her to come to repentance (even one to promote her birth) and they are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome AND the last beast is ONE MAN who never passes his kingdom on like the other 6 did this he alone is the Beast, this has precedent in scriptures see below.

Dan. 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

So, each Beast started out a MAN BEAST/King who has Dominion over Israel and/or the whole Mediterranean Sea Region then as he passes his kingdom on it only becomes a Beast Kingdom in full at that point in time.

John indeed shows this is the same Beast System Daniel spoke about, but Daniel only mentions the four from his vantage point in time forward, God did not want to confuse us, but John is looking back through time, thus he gives them in reverse order, the gives Rome who suffered the Mortal wound via the Church, we the church turned Rome from a Beast int a conveyor belt of the gospel via the Latin Vulgate, only when the Little Horn is born amidst (in) the 10 Horns (complete E.U. Reunited) can we see a Beast once again Conquer Israel and THE MANY (the whole Mediterranean Sea Region) once again and thus the Beast's Mortal Wound is HEALED !!

His number is 666 imho, because the LAST BEAST is ONE MAN, and mans number is 6, thus the 666 only emphasizes this factoid/clue. NOTICE in Dan. 7 we are shown 5 beasts watch.

Dan. 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth,(Rome) which shall be diverse from all kingdoms(Vs. 3 says all the Beasts were diverse from each other), and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:( Complete E.U.) and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first(Rome), and he shall subdue three kings.

We have the Fourth Beast...........then the 10 arise out of the fourth beasts head (10 = complete E.U.) then ANOTHER Little Horn (AC) is born in the E.U. and HE shall be diverse from THE FIRST (Rome) and HE shall subdue three. The HE shows 5 Beasts in Daniel, not 4.

Iwill finish later via Rev. 17 HINT, look at the crowns in Rev. 12 and 13 who/what are the on? Then notice Rev. 17 has NO CROWNS on anything, each designates a different being.

I see no reason why one of 7 heads would have all the horns. The heads are mountains which can be literal mountains but can be any land that rises up from sea level. They are most likely the 7 continents of the world, and the ten horns are kings that have kingdoms during the trib so it's far more likely that this is speaking of ten kingdoms/governments existing throughout the world's 7 continents.

"This calls for a mind with wisdom."

"[There was a 4th beast] It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns."

The heads are 7 systems of influence: business or commerce, domestic affairs or family, education, government or law, communication, arts, and religion.

I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous [or blasphemous] words.

There are 10 rulers over these systems represented by horns. Perhaps three horns over the religious systems are supplanted by one little horn that speaks blasphemy. Since all nations will succumb to the power of the Beast it would make sense that three rulers would convene under one ultimate religious authority. Ecumenical councils have included Muslims, Jews, and Christians for years. Ironically, they claim a "brotherhood" that is not found in God's word.

Any similarities this last Beast or mountains have with historical kingdoms is to aid in our understanding as they appear in the earth. Rome, for example, had all the trappings of a singular kingdom that ruled every aspect of human life. It even sat on 7 hills. It wasn't global, no kingdom has been since the beginning of time, but there is no doubt it would have seemed that way with limited travel.

This calls for a mind with wisdom, not just a mind that has studied history. People of wisdom understand the times and know what the people of God should do.

So, let history inform you, but don't look for men in funny hats out of hyphenated regions (Medo-Persia) to suddenly reappear again from antiquity. The systems of the world are here and already functioning. And one, unifying, blasphemous message is woven through them all: "with human effort, all things are possible."

None of this was seen nor written by John in Revelation or any other NT book. The ten horned beast never loses 3 horns, nor is there a 11th horn (the little horn).

Correct.
The revelation was given to Daniel:

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words."

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:5-7‬ ‭

“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

Don't ignore Daniel's prophecies
Use the bible to interpret the bible. Daniel is the key to unlock many of John's revelations.

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

It seems like the same power and beast is being described in all of these prophecies

The interpretation is given....
Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

The beast is clearly being described by all these prophecies

Which power or kingdom ticks all the boxes of all the identifying marks ???

Right up to and including salvation according to some, even though Jesus specifically said otherwise...

Unlock this:

The 10 horned beast is killed before being given to flame in Daniel but in Revelation 19 the 10 horned beast is alive when cast into fire. Which is correct?

That's a pretty broad field you're referencing there. Would you care to post some examples to support that?

Let me scratch the surface slightly, here are a few of their doctrines:

- **The Sacraments**: Seven sacred rituals—Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. (Baptism = sprinkling)
**The Eucharist**: The bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ during Mass.
**The Virgin Mary**: Honored as the Mother of God, conceived without original sin (Immaculate Conception), and assumed into heaven (Assumption).
**The Communion of Saints**: Spiritual connection between the faithful on earth, souls in purgatory, and saints in heaven.
*The Afterlife**: Belief in heaven, hell, and purgatory.
Church Authority**: The Catholic Church, guided by the Pope and bishops, has authority in matters of faith and morals.

You can see it from
https://www.usccb.org/beliefs-and-teachings (US Conference of Catholic Bishops).

Do you believe that any of these positions are derived from the Bible?
