As I'm sure you know, doctrine means teaching. There are doctrines which form what is sometimes called "the root of the matter," and they are essential to salvation. I'm thinking of things such as Jesus Christ being the only way to God, the fact that God is holy, and the need for God's grace for a sinner to be saved. If somebody knowingly believes falsehoods on these things, then they are unlikely to be a Christian believer. There are other matters which genuine Christians differ in their understanding, things like whether babies should be baptised or only believers, and what day of the week Jesus was crucified. As I say, genuine Christians differ in their understandings of such things, so in my opinion, our beliefs on them don't affect whether or not we are Christians.
All correct doctrine of Jesus Christ is essential.

Yes, Rom. 8:18-25, Tit. 1:2 & 2:13, 1 Cor.15:19, Col. 1:27. 1 Thes. 1:3 & 5:8, Heb. 6:19, 10:23, 11:1.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

That's amusing. You agreed with @Intersection and then cited this verse which contradicts you, and then @Intersection responds by reposting your list of texts, including this one that contradicts him.

There is no hope in heaven for those who made it to heaven because they now have Jesus.

do you believe this person is a believer?
The only way that someone forms a belief that something is true is if something indicates to them that it is true, otherwise their belief would be uncaused. Evidence is an indication that something is true. Someone. can have faith by choosing to focus on and give more weight to the good reasons that they had for believing that something is true in spite of things looking like they might not be true, but if someone became convinced that their belief was false, then they would not continue to believe it.

In Proverbs 4:2, it defines sound doctrine as not forsaking the Torah, so while there are people who have forsaken the Torah who are knowingly believe what the Bible says is not sound doctrine, they have nevertheless been convinced that it is sound doctrine.

Yes He does. God IS love, and would love for those sinners in hell to seek reconciliation with Him. Love always hopes and never gives up, 1 Cor. 11.

Amen!

A very distorted god presented so often, as though his primary motivations are vengeance and retribution.

The key word is "knowingly." I don't know how anyone except God could know if someone is "knowingly" choosing to believe false doctrine. That would require one to be a mind reader, or to have supernatural knowledge; which is getting into shaky territory. But I'd have to say if someone does fit into that category, I don't see how they could know the true Christ or the Holy Spirit.

Walking in the truth is important. It should be the goal of every believer to know the truth and walk in it. It depends on a person's attitude: if they sincerely seek the truth in humility they'll find it and find acceptance. Otherwise, if they are proud and dug in, unwilling to change, they may be very close to being rejected; not because of the theology they believed, but because of a proud and arrogant heart. We don't have to all agree to have fellowship, but we do all have to have humility and a willingness to learn and grow in Christ.
God’s way is the way to know Him and Jesus by being in His likeness through experiencing being a doer of His character traits, which is the way to eternal life (John 17:3). For example, in Genesis 18:19, God knew Abraham that he would teach his children and those of his household to walk in God’s way by being a doer of righteousness and justice that the Lord might bring to him all that He has promised. An arrow flies true when it hits its mark, our mark is to walk in God’s way, and the Torah is truth (Psalms 119:142) because it is His instructions for how to walk in God’s way (1 Kings 2:1-3) while sin is missing the mark, sin is what is contrary to God’s way, and sin is the transgression of the Torah (1 John 3:4). The Spirit has the role of leading us in truth (John 16:13) and of leading us to obey the Torah (Ezekiel 36:26-27) because the character traits of God are the fruits of the Spirit. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact likeness of His character (Hebrews 1:3), which he expressed through his works by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Torah, so he is the way, the truth, and the life, and the way to know the Father (John 14:6-12). In John 8:31-36, it is the transgression of the Torah that puts us into bondage while the truth sets us free.

Believing the correct/sound doctrine of Jesus Christ sets us free.
