Thank you for letting us know. I am sorry for your loss! Your dad was a bit of a character and I loved hearing his stories. When I asked about him I did realize that his passing was a possibility. I checked my post stream with his user name in the search field and quite a few pages came up. Was that his post from last July? He seemed to be saying goodbye to us then, but I did not see and respond to that post until November as I am not much of a participant in the politics and news forums sections of this site. At some point his son said he was using the account to post, also. Was that you? I am glad you have your own account now. Anyways, I loved your dad and was always happy to speak to him when I saw him on site. I shared a number of movies and/or documentary series with him that I had seen on Netflix and he was happy for the recommendations. I hope your mom is doing okay. I remember your dad telling us that when he and your mom went shopping, he would wait in the vehicle because she could move around easier than him.

Thank you, I'm not sure when his last post was but it could have been him or one of my other brothers we took turns staying with them so they may have also. I tried to view his account but i think he had it blocked and I don't know his password myself. Me or my brothers may have posted a few post over the years because of his age he sometimes wasn't sure what to say or not on the internet about personal things. You mention his speaking of leaving the forum and if there was friction with any of you I apologize. I took Behavioral Science and should have been more on top of things myself but had contracts in Austin and so my brothers were there more than me, they did not know what to watch for. I've only had the one account under my current screen name.
No no, there absolutely was not any friction and he even said he was leaving with love in his heart for us...

He really did have a unique perspective due no doubt to his age and maturity and I always enjoyed reading his messages even

That then I think would have been him thank you for posting it for me I had not found it trying to look through his postings. Some of the other post I read from him my brothers had spoken with me about. I'm not sure if any of you had noticed but he in his last 10 or 12 years confused time and other things and spoke of things as happening the day or week before when they were not. He would mingle things together from 20 years ago with things from the day before. You mentioned him speaking of sitting in the car at the store which is true but he had not had a license since his early 70's one of us would drive them there and sit in the car with him while mother shopped.
