The difference is consenting adults.
There's no reason acts between two consenting adults should be illegal. We have laws to protect children for a reason
Oh I by all means hope that I'm wrong. But these people need a cause. I don't know any other way for them to go. We will see.

I think it is a major error to assume that the things that Trump is doing is because he is "stupid" or "foolish". Instead it is much safer to assume he is "crazy like a fox" and that everything he is doing is part of a plan to accomplish exactly what we are seeing happen. With that in mind consider what he is doing.

1. Tariffs on everyone.

then

2. No just Tariffs on China

then

3. No, we will pause tariffs on certain key products

then

4. But beware, cause we may put the tariffs on them in the future.

then

5. China and the US begin a tit for tat escalation to absurd levels of tariff.

One thing all investors hate is uncertainty, and you have seen this in the stock markets as they are extremely riled up. You measure the level of "being riled up" by the VIX, a measure of volatility and it is extremely high.

One result of all this is that interest rates on the ten year treasury and the 30 year treasury are both up significantly. That means several things. first, our interest payments on $36 trillion debt will increase. Second thing is it indicates it is harder to find buyers for our debt and that in turn could either mean the debt continues to increase at a faster rate or the Fed prints the money causing inflation to rise at a faster rate. We can see the rate of the depreciation of the dollar in the price of Gold which for the last 15 years has increased at an annualized rate of 9%. That means investing in bonds is a losing proposition, especially when there is a gold backed currency as an option.

This reminds me of these verses in Luke 19

41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

That which has been is that which shall be. All three gospels record different events which I believe is because they are speaking to three different groups. This account is not in Matthew or Mark. I think Luke is speaking to the church, especially in the US right before the rapture. They don't see that the world is digging a trench about the church, they have compassed you round about, and they shall raise you to the ground. Is this a reference to what happened to Jerusalem and the temple? Of course it is. But in Luke I see this event as being prophetic for what happens to the apostate church. These are the ones that should have known the time of her visitation but didn't.

45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; 46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Immediately after saying this Jesus tears down the financial system. What is DOGE doing? It is identifying all the thieves in the government and casting them out.

So then I don't think Trump is behaving in a foolish way. Instead I believe he is deliberately tearing down the US dollar to replace it with a one world digital currency. Obviously he won't do that, but he will make it completely untenable for the US to continue with our fiat currency as we have been.

There was a day in age homosexuality was considered a mental disorder
Biblically everything sin is a mental disorder. If we'd stop being so tolerant and understanding and ignorant among ourselves, we might realize how big the problem is. Maybe it would help us tighten up the regs a bit and shut down some of the lawlessness we simply give a pass to that just allows it to proliferate and get worse. What a mess.

Matthew 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

It is near impossible to separate out the wheat from the tares before they bring forth fruit. Once you see the black seeds of the tares you can then gather them up, tie them into bundles and toss them into the fire. The problem is not that we are tolerant, it is that we have an enemy. However, that enemy is only an enemy if you are tempted by lust. Put your flesh to death and you won't be tempted by lust. So the "enemy" helps us identify the areas within us that we still need to repent of and deal with.

Don't you think we're knowledgeable enough by this time that we can do better to not stick our head in the sand and be objective enough to look around us and simply acknowledge what things are and where they will surely eventuate if we simply ignore or tolerate them? IOW, now that we've lived the past 4+ years do we really have to pretend that we're not surrounded by an evil that will take any opening to become more evil, even more evil than many thought? I don't know your age but the type of garbage we have in our culture and gov't now would have been dealt with fairly quickly had it even peeked its head out mid last century.

No. I think the best answer to this question was given in the movie "The Big Short". There is this Jewish guy who is running a hedge fund and is always angry. He believes the world is corrupt and that is the underlying principle of the fund, find the lie and bet against it. He does that and make a whole lot of money during the mortgage meltdown. But afterwards his wife says he is no longer angry, and became much more empathetic. He thought the world was corrupt, but did not realize how completely and totally corrupt it was until after the mortgage meltdown. He then realized that no, there is only one way in which the problem will be resolved, Jesus will send out His angels at the end of the age to bundle up the tares so that they can be thrown in the fire.

This is the problem with corrupt organizations, all the criminals are bundled together into one organization. Also the RICO laws give us the power to completely burn up the tares in the fire.

We have been given the charge to be witnesses of the Lord and that includes teaching every single word of the Bible. That includes righteousness, sin, hell, and judgment. By all means, we should be out there preaching. But no tare has ever reformed itself to be wheat. The only solution is the gospel of Christ. There is no other way to get to a kingdom in which righteousness dwells.

I do not believe in wasting my time on efforts that will not bear fruit. Prune the unfruitful branches and let the branches that are bearing fruit get more of your time, effort and spirit. The gospel bears fruit, political reform does not.

Ultimately yes for the land where righteousness dwells in the sense of this saying.

Until then, the principles of a gov't that bears the sword with some semblance of good vs. bad, which we've let go to edge.

Amendment clause to the constitution. If you want theocracy, move to Saudi Arabia

Those are already crimes. It seems you want to make it a crime to not be Christian
It is the ultimate crime, but not one to legislate here.

Those are crimes until some legislature says they're not or until some in power decide they're not for themselves.

Did you follow the legislation in CA that said theft under some amount of $ was not theft? That's what we get when we have no ultimate standards. I just saw a video from somewhere on the globe of some immigrants who have amassed hitting locals with large sticks and doing some severe damage while a few cops stood and watched. That's what we get when we have no ultimate standards.

Some of us who believe there is an ultimate Lawgiver look at the lawlessness and know why it is.

I'm actually OK with that. This is the USA....founded by Christians for Christians. We've allowed the unbelievers to visit and now they wanna take over?

I'm all about deportations and exile. Let's see how long they last without the morality.

It will be just like Christians vx the lions except now we don't need the lions. I could sell tickets....

The United States of America was founded by anti-Christian Freemasons who killed Native Americans.
