I doubt anything will come of this, but it should. Republicans for sure don't want it investigated; and neither do Democrats, because most likely some of their own are involved. Congress has know about insider trading for a long time. No reason to think they'll do anything now; it's too profitable. Schiff had a chance to co-sponsor legislation several years ago that would've banned Congess from trading in the stock market and he declined.
