The name of this thread implies the greatest depression of all time is just around the corner. Greatest means even greater than the great depression. This thread is well over a year old. Have we seen anything even remotely resembling the great depression? There's a name for people who prophesy things that don't come to pass. Anyone hear of the boy who cried wolf?

I think we’re going to have a collapse, but I don’t think this guy, or anyone else knows exactly when the bottom falls out.

OK, that is his title, not mine. He has a guy whose job was military intelligence, he was calculating the odds of a collapse in the US. Apparently the US employs about 25+ or more agents to gather data for their model and then calculate the odds. Their is a lot of uncertainty but their odds are anywhere from 16% to 67% that the US collapses this year. Yes, that is a big range, but even at 16% that is a very alarming number.

That said, he mentions the fact that the Earth has had 5 extinction events in its history, what he didn't mention was that this was over the last 500 million years. So yes, they do happen, and no they don't happen that frequently.

He mentions H5N1 strains of flu, and surprise attack from the Chinese bringing down our power grid as two possible trigger events. Apparently H5N1 is spreading in mammals all over the world. It is stunning how some of the top officials in the US government feel a pandemic is extremely likely from a bioweapon attack. He then references a documentary movie "Grid down, Power up" as showing five ways that any country could take down the US power grid whenever they want. There are thirty critical high voltage transformers, if you take down 9 of them you could cause the entire grid in the US to come down.

BTW he thinks the odds of this happening this year is greater than 50%.

Apparently the FAA has already warned of drones mapping out the locations of the US electric substations, the critical infrastructure for bringing down the US power grid. Also he says there was a power station in California that was shot up and that it was a professional job done as a dress rehearsal to determine how much time you have, etc.

Now he says if you take out the US electric grid you disable the US military and he is US military intelligence. He also reiterated that if you take out the US electric grid they estimate as many as 90% of Americans will die (I suspect that number is way too high) but even if 30% die that is still 100 million people. Also, I imagine many people in hospitals, many retired people and many children and families with small children would be the hardest hit.

H5N1 is 50-60% lethal in humans. However, people should understand that if we practice standard healthy practices in the event of a pandemic that the lethality will probably drop significantly over the course of 12 months because the least lethal strains should be the most successful and being infected with the least lethal strains would give you immunity to the more lethal strains. I would also point out that 50-60% lethality does not mean that if you get it you have a 50-60% chance of dying. What you do to protect yourself is critical. HCQ, Ivermectin, Quercetin and Zinc are all known to be very effective against virus infections. Also a vitamin D deficiency was almost universal in those who went to the ICU with Covid. So these are all things you can do to help lower your odds.

The problem with a bioweapon is there is no way to contain it to just the US. So I think if we are talking about a surprise attack, an attack on our power grid is the simplest, easiest, and most effective. Hit the power grid, sit back for three months has vast numbers of Americans die or kill each other. Then you roll in with your humvees as a "peace keeping" force to restore order and get the power back up. 100 well trained operatives could pull it off in an hour. Although tens of millions of Americans would die it is likely that none of our active duty military would die. This does mean that our military capabilities would be disabled temporarily, but not permanently. Ask yourself, can Iran get 100 well trained operatives in the US? How about N. Korea? What about Venezuela? Of course China and Russia probably both already have them here.

Wow, 50% of those polled by this military intelligence officer felt that Trump was greatly increasing the odds of a civil war, 20% felt he was slightly increasing the odds, and 7% said no change. That is 77% think things have not gotten better and for the most part has gotten worse with civil war more likely.

As for those who feel Trump did not go far enough the good news is that this Wednesday more draconian reciprocal tariffs are set to be implemented. Also, more good news for those concerned with how Trump might be responding to this worldwide condemnation of his trade policy, Trump said "our country has gotten a lot stronger" and appeared in good spirits. But not everything is down, estimates are that inflation will be up 2% a year due to the tariffs. However, those who claim this is unprecedented have no idea what they are saying, we had tariffs this high back in 1933. This of course answers that thorny question "when was America ever great?" Well it wasn't called "the great depression" for nothing!

12. This is a very perplexing time. Pharaoh thought Israelites were tangled up in the wilderness right before they crossed the red sea and Pharaoh’s army was drowned. The Jews were perplexed when Haman sent out orders to execute the Jews in Esther.

The big question I had these last four years was why did the churches go along with having their doors shut and their message censored? Then I realized this was prophesied in Ruth. Boaz is the kinsman redeemer, but there was a kinsman nearer than Him. So Boaz offers him a chance to take a stand for Ruth and he refuses because it would mar his inheritance. In order to make this refusal official he takes off his shoe and hands it to Boaz. Boaz is a type of Christ, and Ruth is a type of the spirit filled tribulation saints. Who is this nearer kinsman? It is Christianity. They were given a chance to stand up for the saints, to refuse to shut their doors, to refuse to censor their messages, and to stand against the vaccine mandate. But they didn’t. Why? Because they were a 501 c3 organization and if they did do that the pastor would lose his job and the church could be sold off to another charity. Our feet are shod with the gospel of peace but Christianity took off their shoes.

What we are seeing right now is a preview, a 1% of what we will see during the Day of the Lord. Think of this Covid virus as an army of little bugs. They went everywhere. Well that is what we are about to see on a much bigger scale with much bigger soldiers.

If you want to know the big picture you have to look at what is going on from God’s point of view. This is the best time to preach the gospel. The threat of a global pandemic, nuclear holocaust, and famine all work together to cause people to turn to the Lord. People are more interested in knowing what the Bible says today than ever before in my lifetime. God is gathering all people on earth to the valley of decision. That is the last great sign prior to the rapture.
