i just hope less of these mistakes happen. I know some guys who wanted to join border patrol and I’m not sure if they did, but they were excellent security professionals and might have done great as a border patrol officer.

Seems pretty unacceptable to me; a lack of communication passed down the chain of command.

i understand that we are supposed to love our neighbor and that this is a child, but two mistakes (that I’ve personally heard of) out of 20 million? That still seems like a pretty high success rate.

And it all has the same pattern, first it was "we have no problem with migrants who follow the process and enter legally" but doesn't being documented through the system properly mean they did not enter illegally?
