Even if they could build an assembly line overnight and bring some jobs back, people tend to conveniently neglect to count the many more jobs that are disappearing.
Our economies are so integrated, I cannot even take this seriously, it really is like trying to unscramble an egg.

As well aside from oil the USA has a trade surplus with Canada, another lie he tells.

As well, the USA is set up to refine the oil Canada has, another fact he conveniently omits.
There is so much to the entire oil industry and geo-politics, he simplifies it down so it just becomes more nonsense.

Sad the leader of the land has no clue, I learned this in my first year economics class.

Those CEO's laid down it pretty thick on how dumb his idea is to place tariffs, and the dire consequences for the workers, like assembly lines can be built over night.
His idea is not dumb. It will be executed. He's just trying to minimize the effect on the population.

I don't even care about the livelihood of the farmers who are destroying the soil fertility of the land. Their way of farming obviously isn't working because they are accepting farm subsidies to survive.
Yes it is true, some are not good stewards of the land.
Both of you are expert farmers now?
Good one.

Permaculture all the way.

Permaculture is an approach to land management and settlement design that adopts arrangements observed in flourishing natural ecosystems. It includes a set of design principles derived using whole-systems thinking.

Ok good luck in your community buddy. I also used to know tin-foil hat people i used to work with who now live off the grid in Arizona.
They're living life like it's 1022AD.
For the rest of us who need an economy that needs to feed billions, we will try a different approach.

Also congratulations for putting a sentence together and then copy/pasting the description from Google.
Must have been exhausting for you.

My dad had a large farm, as an aside to his regular work, so yes I know quite a bit.
He also had one in Italy.
Yes, so does my family.
This doesn't mean we can feed billions of people with this model.

The permaculture approach is the only way that works. (y)

Does one need to be a farmer or even an expert farmer to know that certain farming practices are harmful to the land? And people? And the environment? And surrounding flora, fauna, and ecosystems? Hey, yeah, kill off the natural pollinators with all your chemicals and toxins in fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides etc, and then wonder what is happening to the butterflies and the bees?

The wealth will continue to concentrate upwards, that is the plan and they will give us shoe boxes to live in, it was explained at the WEF.

These folks have TDS :) so the discussion isn't even about farming. It's about how much they hate Trump because they think that he is dumb and screwing American farmers so they are pretending to be EXPERT biologists with 5 master degrees.

Yep, I remember that lesson. The only thing more stupid that tariffs, is to let other countries put tariffs on your exports while you don't have tariffs on their imports.

The farmers who are not using regenerative farming practices are destroying themselves.
